- Self-Realization Fellowship monk Brother Bhumananda shares insights from the teachings of Paramahansa Yogananda on the nature of faith in the final class at the 2018 SRF World Convocation.
Paramahansa Yogananda taught that faith comes from an intuitive experience of the Divine. Brother Bhumananda discusses ways we can develop and express that faith by gaining a deeper experience of the soul, “the divine spring from which faith flows.”
Other topics covered include transcending body consciousness through Kriya Yoga, the importance of adding devotion into our practice of meditation, and the happiness that comes from attunement with the guru.

I really needed to hear this talk today , thank you also I wanted to explain to you that it is my opinion that Jesus didn’t kill the fig tree because he was upset that it wasn’t bearing fruit , rather it was useless and taking away energies from the fruitful trees . This is my understanding of why he did that.

I had pain in my back when I first began practicing kriya with straight spine and correct Asana but I persevered and the pain disappeared
The part about Guruji almost not getting Mt Washington confuses me. Aren’t there times we are supposed to let go and let God? What if God had something better but Guruji used his Will to overcome the issue? Usually things don’t go our way because we are forcing things to happen instead of allowing them. Another question, Guruji is always in communion with God who knows all things, why did Guruji even see this as a problem until the last minute donation?
Master I am sorry...please forgive me ...although I am following you from 20 years ....I always underestimate you please forgive me ....Thanks Dear Bhumanand ji for this beautiful, inspiring talk ...we love you ..
