A red devil doesn’t stand nowhere near a fighting chance against a Buttikoferi. Butti’s are just on a totally different level of psychopaths. The Buttis are relentless. Your butti isn’t going to stop until your red devil is dead. The red devil is aggressive enough to hold his own for a while but the Butti is eventually going to own him completely. Trust me. Please save your red devil now while you can. My Butti killed a red devil that was given to me. I was so angry about that.
@@arturopantoja406 how big were they? I got a little red devil growing out but I’m not sure if it’ll match the aggression level of my 12 inch female butti, she’s a monster
@@Buttikoferiii both about 6 inches once the red devil grows it should match the aggression or at least defend itself enough but cichlids vary on aggression
I can pretty much almost guarantee you the Butti eventually dominated as anyone who knows their fish would expect. Red Devils are insane don’t get me wrong, but there’s no Red Devil on this planet that is going to stand a chance against a full grown adult Butti. Nowhere near a chance. I’m speaking from 22 years of experience in the fish hobby.

@@arturopantoja406 well tbh one video doesn’t define the outcome everytime between 2 species. On average the Butti would be more aggressive but it usually varies between individual fish. There’s a video of a 7 inch Buttikoferi going up against a 14 inch male Festae and the owner said he would’ve killed the Festae if he didn’t separate them. I don’t think I’ve seen any other cichlid do that
@@Buttikoferiii I agree to a point at the end of the day it varies from cichlid to cichlid at the top ranked aggressive ones buttikoferi, almost any amphilophus, almost any parachromis, and flowerhorn too are up there in no specific rank just depends on the fish 👌🏽

I use a long skewer to feed my slower fish. And when my butti follows the stick and takes a bite I can feel its power, and he is only 2 inches long.
cthe Buttikoferi is a very tuff fish and peacefull to you make it angry and get more than you bargined for

Both aggressive fish because my red devil murdered my buttikoferi 😭 and that red devil started chasing him at the end 👀
