There was a similar issue with UBER not being safe in London a couple of years back. The company lost the license to operate and had to implement many safeguards which I believe are not in place in the US.

My daughter lives in Seattle. She had to get her daughter an Uber ride, took his picture of him, his car, license plate and told him if anything happened to her daughter, she would find him.

You guys know these ride share, food delivery drivers lend their phone to their friends right? I work in a restaurant, it happens constantly. You have no idea who is coming into your apartment building, getting pass security, even getting access codes. I will never use these delivery apps. It is crazy.
