  • In this video, I dive deep into the Ginault Silent Service, a watch that has been turning heads in the enthusiast community. Is it a true competitor to the legendary Rolex Submariner? Join me as I break down the craftsmanship, design, and performance of the Ginault Silent Service, comparing it directly with the Rolex Submariner.
    We'll explore:
The meticulous build quality of the Ginault Silent Service, from its 316L stainless steel case to its ceramic bezel.
How the Ginault's Swiss ETA movement stacks up against Rolex’s in-house movements.
The design similarities and differences, and what they mean for everyday wear.
Value for money: Is the Ginault a smart buy for those who love the Submariner style but don't want to break the bank?

Nice watch, love the bracelet. I haven't seen anything more affordable with such a quality bracelet. I'm considering the watch mostly on the merits of the bracelet (that and it doesn't have the prestige or price tag of something like a Sub, I dont think I'd feel comfortable wearing something the price of a car on my wrist).

I really like my Silent Service. It gives me that Sub look and feel, and I love wearing it. Super comfortable and handsome. Goes with everything. One point of disagreement however. I also have an Omega SMP300 with anti reflective coating on the outside of the crystal, and after three years of wear I don't notice any scratches, and I don't baby that watch. So perhaps you'll update your point of view about that. Other than that, great review. I subscribed.

Great to hear! I do think the SS is fantastic. I like the proportions better than most current divers. You have a great collection and thanks for subscribing!

Enjoyed the review. I order my Silent Service (diver no date) 5 weeks back. Can't wait to get this. Also, I have the Ocean Rover II (no date -blue bezel) and love it. Big fan of Ginault. Looking forward to any future new releases. Keep up the great work!

I appreciate the kind words! And congrats on pulling the trigger on a SS. It’s a fantastic watch.

Nothing worse than hearing “nice sub” when you’re not wearing a sub.

Really? Sounds like a compliment to me. Being mistaken for possibly the greatest watch ever made. If someone mistook me for Brad Pitt, I'd take that as a compliment, despite the fact that I'm not Brad Pitt.
In any case, no one who knows what a sub looks like is mistaking this watch for a sub.

Doesn't bother me. I'm not that insecure.

@@jayjayhooksch1 that’s some awful logic there bro 😂

@@RabbitWatchShop Being mistaken for someone considered highly attractive is not a compliment? How is that not analogous to someone mistaking a sub homage as the real deal?
