Hillsdale College is an independent institution of higher learning founded in 1844 by men and women “grateful to God for the inestimable blessings” resulting from civil and religious liberty and “believing that the diffusion of learning is essential to the perpetuity of these blessings.” It pursues the stated object of the founders: “to furnish all persons who wish, irrespective of nation, color, or sex, a literary, scientific, [and] theological education” outstanding among American colleges “and to combine with this such moral and social instruction as will best develop the minds and improve the hearts of its pupils.” As a nonsectarian Christian institution, Hillsdale College maintains “by precept and example” the immemorial teachings and practices of the Christian faith.
The College also considers itself a trustee of our Western philosophical and theological inheritance tracing to Athens and Jerusalem, a heritage finding its clearest expression in the American experiment of self-government under law.
By training the young in the liberal arts, Hillsdale College prepares students to become leaders worthy of that legacy. By encouraging the scholarship of its faculty, it contributes to the preservation of that legacy for future generations. By publicly defending that legacy, it enlists the aid of other friends of free civilization and thus secures the conditions of its own survival and independence.

Larry P. Arnn, Thank you for this video, the work you do, and being a part of The Constitution 101 class at Hillsdale College. I'll be finishing part 4 after this comment. When I was 6 yrs. old, I pinned up my first poster and it was George Washington's presidential portrait. 47 years later, I drove from LA to DC and back to support the Republic and defend the integrity of our voting system. During that trip, (7 days total) I thought about the Constitution and its absence in public school systems currently and also when I was growing up. It is disturbing how this knowledge about who we are and what this Country stands for is brushed aside like a non required elective. To me, knowing the Constitution is vital to every citizen but tragically, it continues to diminish as time goes by. I've decided to learn as much as I can about the subject and teach it in some way or another in my new community in Phx Az. How Americans in general will wake up to the fact that they must be involved in our country's decisions is anyone's guess but I'm going to do my part. I'm of the opinion that it's the only way to right this ship. Thank you for your time and keep up the good work. Dean

How did NJ turn mostly blue? I believe out of ignorance and useful idiots and voter fraud. I love where I live in the suburbs of NJ however, I want out so badly. Disabled child with a Dad that lives here along with a stable job (at this moment) my family is here also. Born and raised yet I want to be among strength and freedom.

Paton said something like, “…a brash violent plan carried out NOW is better than a well conceived plan LATER…” There is a quality to brash men that no others have, it has a virtue of its own.
Please lose the overbearing corny music in future productions. Do you really think it adds to the truth of your message? It is a distraction that keeps saying, “second rate production”, all the while.
    Thank you for this video.
