yo ecko! i've found another weapon thats really great to use. its a heavy called meteorite. it is almost as good as the stinger 3000 used to be with manuel guidence and a really wide AOI. you really gotta try it it is really good to use. also its only 500 coupons in the gallery. so an almost must-have for F2P player.
I only really mind if it is longer than normal and if it is for a category or weapon you are relying on to kill players or to help with a certain gamemode (like the vertical grip in flag capture), and those two issues are present with this skin.

Weapons skins being the “new gun” makes a lot more sense and opens up more room for unique effects and more creativity. But if they do start adding less weapons, they should repurpose the older craft section weapons. Lower their rarities and add them to the armoury for everybody to buy for coins or gems. Edit: I’m also cool with non delayed weapons getting a fixed delay with their skins, but instead of forcing you to sit through it, the animation should play out if you don’t press the shoot button. Like how you don’t have to wait for delay when you wanna reload
The real solution rn is to add cross play to turn off. The reason is pc players have bigger advantages like bigger screens more movement and better aim, while mobile players is forced to play in small screen and limited movement while being harder to aim. Imagine playing in a small screen with ur thumbs vs a mouse while using your entire arm to aim it's just not fair.
Forgot to mention if they don't add disable cross play immediately I'm not surprised when mobile players quit they don't want to become a farm. And if they finally add disable cross play pc players are forced to fight other pc players who's better than them, so they're just gonna quit because they can't farm mobile players anymore.
I think the reason why there's a fix delay in most weapons is to nerf 3catspammers since those players dominate every game and make casual players stop playing.
now that acr has fixed delay, you can do the old 3 cat spam rotation of sniper -> backup -> special with laser cycler/alien blaster and reflector/laser bouncer

It doesn't deal a higher total damage, but the instant damage is higher, and the fire rate shouldn't be too much of an issue, but digital sunrise fires faster so if you swap really quick, that can be better. It just kind of depends on how quick you swap, if you swap pretty quickly, digital, but if you swap somewhat slow, anti-champion.
Hey Ecko, I was just playing with the anti-champion skin equipped and there was no fixed delay. Maybe the devs listened and changed it. Still not sure what the unique effect on the skin is (there might not be one).
Royal guardian still worse because at least that duration can be cut down if you just kill them. People mainly use it when they are about to die anyway.

Its the core mechanic that got the game so big with the names of esoteric inc and bridger as a small example , 3cat is fundamental and most of the op weapons arent the best for 3 cat so its fair for players who dont 3cat to go against 3 cat players

Also, I really don't buy the idea that the game's popularity from the past was mainly due to 3catspam and the youtubers who played with the playstyle, the game got popular for its other aspects, such as the campaign, the guns themselves, and the idea that it was just "minecraft with guns". That's not to say 3catspam didn't contribute to the popularity when pg3d youtubers made content surrounding it, but it was not mainly because of it, from what I have seen. Yadda yadda yadda, in short, 3catspam was a mistake the devs now can't get rid of because they didn't do so before, the game got popular more so for other reasons, and 3catspam is not fair at all, even with op weapons present.

This is the issue that I have with fixed delays. Cases such as this and the anti-gravity blaster when the devs misuse them

Same with the new skins for the standard weapons, they all have delay. So i use the old skins again for no delay and for the nostalgia.
This skin is only usable in Sniper forts imo, this fixed delay is not something you want on any other maps
