For anyone reading this and maybe hasn’t followed roadkill or Finnegan for a while: He massively improved the Blasphemi with a new engine and won Drag-Week after rebuilding his first gear on the dragstrip with Tony Angelo. One of the best and most tense roadkill episodes ever!

It's a line lock switch. It holds the front bakes on, but not the rear brakes, so the driver can do easier burnouts.

Kudos for this vid. As a long-time HOTROD (20+ years) and Roadkill fan, I've learned everything I possibly could about Blasphemi in a 17 minute segment. Great job, Jon and thanks to Finnegan for being such a great sport explaining everything.

I love Mike's 55, it checks off many of the right boxes for my idea of restomod, period looks and modern accoutrements. IMO Roadkill episodes 13/14 (Alaska redux) is one of the best car guy road trip pieces. Ever. Well done on this episode, it was in my recommended list, and glad I clicked on it, and I just subbed to your channel sir. I haven't watched but this one video, but I get the feeling that this is my kinda place. Thanks fer takin' us along...

Mike set out to build a car for Drag-Week, and a tribute to "Two-Lane Blacktop". He's created one of the most legendary and recognizable race-cars ever and been a big part of the hotrodding renaissance. It's been a blast and inspiration watching him build Blasphemi on Roadkill. He's gotten me to finally realize my dream and purchase a hot-rod project, and maybe someday, I'll even get to make some passes. Hats off to you Mike Finnegan, and John Chase, and all you other knuckleheads out there.
Finally! Mike’s 55 has come a long way over the years. Can’t wait to see this race go down!

Regardless of who wins it will be pretty badass seeing those two Gasser's lined up beside each other. Also obviously Finn should be favored his car makes a lot more power and is lighter with the front clip and lexan, but I've seen roadkill and there track record of breaking shit is "hertlike new word" so John in the words of Jim Carrey so your sayin there's a chance!
You see, they Didn't, "Roadkill" this car and Tangelo won't be driving it, so it should be fine. Mike built it right.
He may have just blown the transmission up at this years Drag Week. He did it on the last day after finally running an 8 though, so the big question is will it be fixed by the time John's car gets built.

I bought "tri 5 by fire" in Forza horizon 4 and converted it to blasphemi
I built a near perfect replica in Horizon 3 livery and all, I have yet to recreate it in Horizon 4, I don't have enough patience for the livery editor lol

Well not that it's "General Maintenance" it's just an old Charger with Hellcat drivetrain, there's really not much to see. I'd much rather see F-Bomb Build Bio since we don't see that car much.
