Welcome west!!! The best place to be❤ heads up-I travel extensively and when I am in the mountains I also use manual. Here’s something I learned for my mechanic-keep an eye on your oil level because your engine will burn more oil when running mountains in manual gear. Carry oil for your vehicle. I love your channel!!

I can totally understand not wanting to cook after driving all those hours. Kick back and relax, and if anyone cares that your legs are ashy, don't worry about them, because they don't matter. You will love Colorado! Some advise from someone who has traveled many deserts been stranded a few times, get some paper maps and a auxiliary back up battery that you charge up even solar. There are many dead cellular dead zones all throughout the beautiful west.

I have never Yurt camped even though it is gaining popularity here in Colorado. Seems lovely. Backpack camping will always have my heart. There's nothing like waking up in the morning and not a soul around for miles.

The King sized bed floored me, along with a person to remove the ceiling cover in order to gaze at the stars all night long if you wanted to!! If I had the extra money, I would buy and decorate one of these types of tents for sure!! Thanks for sharing Nomi!!

🐂Texan here, it takes forever to drive across Texas to Colorado. I left from Dallas to Colorado; then on to Wyoming. It was a LONG but lovely road trip. I think that was a Texas Horned Lizard you saw. Have a safe trip.🚐🛣
My favorite spot on the 10 in Texas is Van Horn. I stopped there one night when moving from TN to AZ and fell in love. The mountains, tranquility, and beautiful night sky soothed the anxiety I had built up while driving. Luckily, I bought two walkie talkies to communicate with my bf, he was driving the uHaul, to use when cell service was out. Continue to enjoy all life has in store for you!!!!

@29:30 🦎 those were my best buds growing up, plenty of farmland, we had bobcats, foxes, quail, roadrunners, hawks, coyotes, rattlesnakes etc AND then the farm lands sold off and the encroachment of mass neighborhoods came in and they disappeared.

I was wondering when you were gonna see one of those spiders 👀 😮 I was hoping one wasn't in your room, oh and it's a good idea to read up on the geographic areas where you planning on going, as far as bugs, humidity, insects, weather, this way you will be more prepared for a comfortable stay, and out west HYDRATE HYDRATE HYDRATE!!!!! Even if you feel you don't need to, TRUST me when I say the low humidity will dry you out really fast, it actually sucks the moisture right out of you. 😮 Ok enjoy and stay safe. 🤗💓

We just stayed in a dome close to Bryce Canyon National Park. It was called Glamp and Camp. Awesome view, seperate bedroom, cable tv, full bathroom. It was awesome.

They are found all over the southwestern States. We called them Horny Toads.
