Out of all of your videos, this one was the most significant to me. This video was a true testament that life is not only about the destination but more about the journey. You have visited places that I most likely will never go but through yours eyes, we're able to see and experience. Your authenticity and bravery is unmatched. I pray for you constantly because traveling alone can be scary. Yet, I know that you have God and trust Him. So thank you Nomi for being you and God bless 🙏🏽
A friend just sold his house & most of his belongings. Bought a new truck & camper. Hitting the road to see the USA. Doing it at 42 years old. Good luck and Happy travels to him!
I've really been contemplating on doing the same thing with my 9yr old. I want to experience life with my daughter seeing the world in different lights. I want her to learn skies the limit for her
I am 55 years old & I don't have working legs so I would have never seen this place on my own if it wasn't for you so ty sooo much for uploading your adventures~ makes me feel like I am a part of them
Never travel alone in the wilderness, without service. When my husband and I lived in a motorhome, and we took a caravan of retired military to Alaska and Canada, a couple wanted to drive up the northwest territory, but smart as they were they asked another couple to go with them, because it was totally remote with no service. You may think you’re prepared for anything, but my dear girl, the wilderness is not something to fool with.
The music at the end was beautiful and totally fitting for that moment. This is obviously a wonderful milestone for you. Commit every bit of your journey to get here to memory and document it in a journal if possible to keep that story backed up with a hard copy...lol Memories tend to fade and fuzz over, with the Passage of time❣️😎
I may be mistaken, but it seems like she contradicts herself at times. I understand needing your space and being alone but sometimes that's not always a good idea. I said it before and ill say it again. Never ever put yourself in compromising situations. 🤷♀️
I don’t agree. She seems more than capable and is capable of making her own decisions. I don’t think people would be so quick to judge if she was a man
The life of a nomadic traveler can't really be explained to people who aren't travelers. There's a wanderlust that you have to feed. Congrats to you, Nomi, for heeding the call. God is always with us.
Satellite phones are very important. The wilderness cares for no one. You may think you're prepared, but honestly, nobody is prepared for any unpredictability. The smaller and compact Starlink just got released. You can fit it in your backpack. Please look into it. And I pray that one day, you will find a home base to decompress after these grueling trips
@@ernestinebyrne9912do you realize that she gets hundreds of comments to one video at times..she answers the first few but she’s not going to spend her day answering hundreds of comments. Like cmon.
Unsure if someone added this in comments but - a hint from an old girl who grew up in AK and drove the AlCan highway (Alaska Canada highway) a bunch of times. - ROCKS!! - Anytime a vehicle passes you in EITHER direction, rocks will fly as you’ve learned. ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS PUT YOUR FLAT PALM ONTO THE WINDSHIELD. The impact of rocks hitting your glass will be transferred through the glass and up your arm -painless and effective! Saves a lot of glass, even a huge rock often left only a chip when it could have shattered. Trust me I spent my teen years doing this when the AlCan highway still had 1300 miles of gravel road plus a lot of bad pavement. TRY IT! You’ll like it! 😎 Safe travels Darlin!
I'm only half way through the video, but I have lives off of dirt roads for a good part of my adult life. Rocks will get caught in there and make that sound. If there is something wrong with your brakes, you'll hear a grinding sound instead of a squealing sound. I was told to drive forward and slam on the brakes to dislodge a rock. Love watching!

Desolate but magnificent! We did this drive 9 years ago. Part of The trip of a lifetime! We stayed at Deadhorse camp too. Had to plug a tire once on the way back and got it fixed in Coldfoot. We put our feet in and it was COLD! I so admire you for doing this alone!! Stay safe!

I was praying so hard for God to make a way when your vehicle started making noises. I'm so thrilled that you accomplished one of your dreams. It was breathtaking.
For some reason I thought the Arctic Ocean would be frozen. Glad you made it. But now you have to face Dalton Highway going the opposite direction to go home. Safe travels always and God bless.

Whoohoo! That's a rough ol' road. Stars to the horizon at night. Aurora. You can see trucks coming toward you five, ten miles in the distance. I was told that rental cars weren't allowed on The Dalton because its such a mess. I made it as far as Coldfoot, AK in December in a little bus before being forced back the 8 hrs. to Fairbanks .. socked in by deeeep snow. JEALOUS and in awe that you made it to Prudhoe and the Arctic Ocean! YOU GO, GIRL! What a beautiful planet, yes?

I absolutely love this for you. You had a goal and you didn’t let obstacles get in your way. I’m so happy for you & proud of you. Thank you for taking us along for the ride. ❤
If you've never watched ice road truckers, you should. It doesn't come on anymore, but it would be cool for you to see how the Dalton Hwy looks in the winter. I'm sure those 18-wheelers traveling all times of the year doesn't help the roads, especially when it's iced over.
I loved that show and also the one where the truckers are training to be truckers. Thought about doing it myself for awhile but I would have had to have a partner. Nomi is just “badass”. To do this trip alone, once you’ve seen how it can unravel you for a bit, is nail biting, but, like Nomi, you just have to keep on truckin! 57:06

Hey Nomi, I'm so glad that you've been able to check off another goal. And I thank you, as always, for taking me with you to places that I will never be able to experience on my own. I love being able to look through your eyes and listen to your commentary about your journey. Be safe. 💙🐢
Having traveled the Dalton Hwy with two dogs and two other people, it's an adventure that can never be truly described. It's so remote and you truly get the feeling of how insignificant you are on this planet. I applaud you for doing this on your own. It's not for the faint of heart. But it will fill your heart! I'm enjoying your Alaskan adventures. It brings back so many memories of the years I lived there.
Your videography is beautiful! I love your videos. Although. You no longer give us the “first bite!”😂 Stay safe and follow your gut. This was so beautiful and meaningful. I’m a grown man and I found myself with tears at watching you and the gentleman that took the plunge..each fulfilling a mission and need and respecting that sacred space.
What beautiful sights to see when one uses their bravery. I'm always wishing you the best on the road and wherever you go. I need to get back to my treadmill so we can go hiking together. 😅 Luv you online bestie ❤️🤍💙🫶🏽
What a beautiful beautiful, courageous, intelligent, gentle sister woman! This touched my heart, we can do anything, we have come so far! I adore you for this trip! The end was so magical and touching! I’ve travel a lot with the military, but your content makes me wanna get back out there. God Keep Blessing You!
Yep, my brother made the drive in his RV. He said it was the best vacation but he would NEVER drive that road again, especially in an RV. if you break an axle, you’re there for a while.
Some parts of this video was very hard to film. It was definitely an emotional roller coaster! Thanks for watching…

Drive in reverse will often dislodge the rock. Every backroad driver should know what to do.

Be PROUDof every chip on your window, scrape on the exterior and all the other wear and tear. It's all part of your amazing journey❤❤❤
Yes, part of the story.
Keep a window chip repair kit in your vehicle. The one with the suction cup. They can fix chips and keep them from spreading
The noise with your brakes is dirt or small rocks in between your rotors and pads.. Subarus are notorious for that happening. You’ll be okay lol
Hondas are worse!! And the repairs are expensive to get the rocks out and fix the brakes after the rocks tear them up!!
I agree, dirt for sure
This is what I was thinking as well

OMG i am so glad you made it safe. I was getting nervous for a minute when you started hearing the noise.
Beautiful views! So glad you made it. I knew you were military. You have a certain discipline and determination about you that gave it away.
Peanut butter and jelly in the Arctic Circle!! That's some bucket list gold!! Enjoy the journey, my Friend. ✌️
Beautiful Vedeo❤ that sunset was epic! Hurrah! You rock! & you gave Jesus a big T.y❤ keep em coming ! ❤
Hey Nomi,
I'm so glad that you've been able to check off another goal.
And we stayed at that same place in Deadhorse. It doesn't look much different! :)
I cant believe there's a Walmart that close to the artic circle! Love your videos!!
My Friday morning is always good when your video drops
So happy for you, you made it to the Arctic Ocean! 🎉 Thank you for taking us with you on your journey.
Hi NOMI God bless you and protect you always. Take very good care of yourself. 😇🙏🏽🙌🏽🤗🌹🤗🌹🤗
Give God All the Glory!
Congratulations and thank you for taking us along! I’m so glad you were able to connect with your brother to figure out the problem. He’s a hero!
What beautiful sights to see when one uses their bravery. I'm always wishing you the best on the road and wherever you go. I need to get back to my treadmill so we can go hiking together. 😅 Luv you online bestie ❤️🤍💙🫶🏽
Thank God you’re okay and your brother was available FaceTime. Be safe and thank you for the video 😊
You are so brave. I never would have seen this part of the world otherwise. BUT PLEASE BE SAFE.
Keep your head up champ 🖤
WOW, YOU ARE BRAVE AND COURAGEOUS...YOU ARE FREE...BLESSINGS...I'M HAPPY THAT YOU WERE ABLE TO GET TO YOUR FINAL DESTINATION.
