Thank you very much for this informative video. My Academy 1:400 Titanic Just arrived and I wonder how to paint the model, especially the hull + the golden line. I have no experience but would like to make my Titanic model look Like yours. Soo amazing! So, maybe bad question but what you could suggest me? A small airbrush? Or a specific pencil? I ordered the Titanic Paint Pack. And are there any european sites offering accurate tunnels and a historic accurate 3rd 3 blades propeller? All shops I've found have such high expensive delivery costs :o Sorry for the many questions but maybe someone can help me :)
@@daniel_at7059 Hello! I used the decal sheet from the 1:350 Minicraft kit for the sheer stripe (the golden line) but I would recommend using an airbrush. If you tape the hull and apply several very light layers of paint with the airbrush, you should be able to get a nice line. I built my 3 bladed propeller by modifying the center propeller in the kit. I also used the funnels from the kit, although I know a company called Model Monkey that makes a nice set of 3D printed funnels. Hope this helps!
I have this Titanic on my table and I can say that many things are very good but there are many things wrong in any case my passion for the Titanic is more great of the discordances
This was very helpful! I’m looking forward to applying your tips to my Titanic!
Just finished my 1/400 academy premium Titanic, I got one of the last one of 2000 made. And after 2 years of work. Too bad I didn't see this earlier

Hi could you please tell me the height of the model if the stand is left off. I have height constraints in my model cabinet .
Thank you
Hello! I unfortunately am away from this model for a couple of weeks but I’ll get back to you about the height when I return if it’s not too late!
