Im glad Im not the only one that had this problem. I though I must be missing something. Thanks for confiming it. Ive used it a bunch of times now, with no issues. Thanks for the comment!

Can you make another video and show us how you connect Dji Mic2 to gopro and how it works? I have a gopro 11, and i need a microphone to buy, but im not sure whether dji mic2 is good for me or not while im driving a motorcycle, Thank you
Thats a good question. I would think the wind noise would be pretty loud, while riding. The transmitter does have a noise reducing "wind checker" that snaps over the mic, but im not sure how that would work on a bike ride. I can definitely do a short on how the dji 2 connects to the media mod, via the supplied 3.5mm wire, but I'd hate to have you buy the dji, then find out that it doesn't work well while riding. I can try it out while riding my ebike. I can reach about 35mph on it. Not as fast as a motorcycle, but it should give us a good idea how well it works.
Yes, here you go... NEEWER Cold Shoe Mount Adapter Compatible with DJI Hollyland Rode Wireless Lavalier Microphone Receiver, Anti Drop Mic Accessories with Retractable Pins, Metal Camera Cage Mount Adapter, UA030 a.co/d/1lqakqx
is it recharchable? if so, why necesarely needs to be mounted on the camera if it s bluetooth ?????! Anyone if you please would like to give me your opinion about it thanks !!!!!!!
It is rechargeable. It is not bluetooth. You have to attached the dji 3.5mm wire from the dji receiver to the media mod audio port. I did not show that in the video. My apologies!!
I saved my money, by not buying this, and just using the GoPro app to turn on my camera. That way you don't need access to the button....you just use the app.
I just received my Mic2 and hadn't even noticed the issue with the record button on the GoPro! Thanks for coming up with a solution!!

@@retirementwithpete9859 did you have to do anything special to get it to work with three gopro? Still playing with it but no luck so far?
Have you found any info saying the the go pro3 will support a dji mic2??
I wasnt able to find anything on google or youtube.
Thanks for the video! Do you have a link to the piece you’re using to raise the adaptor and uncover the button?
Im glad it helped you!!

@retirementwithpete9859 Yes, that would be great with your E bike 👍
Thank you
Just mount the receiver on a top shoe mount sideways, and you're good to go :)
Do you have a link for that piece?

Can the DJI mic work with Hero 11 without their mod?
No, there is no external mic port on the hero11. Gopro forces you to buy the media mod, to hook up an external mic, such as the DJI2.
@@retirementwithpete9859 yeah that’s the realization I came to. And the reviews for them on GoPro site are not very good.
Thank you!
Can the DJI mic 2 connect to the go pro via bluetooth?
Thats a good question. Afar as I know, it does not. I have always used the supplied cable.

That is an option. I prefer to just turn the camera on and off, without needing my phone.
I need to get a car camera
With everything going on today, a dash camera is almost a necessity. Hope all is good with you!
