You can’t absolve Ten Hag from the “no goals” issue. Is he maximising the performance of our better players Rashford and Bruno? I’d argue Bruno has never been worse than this current version. Yeah, because he has almost everything a manager wants in resources to do that, and that makes it a rare situation, most managers don't get as much resources, there have been enough examples of managers who adapted to win things, Pep has won at a time when the difference in how efficiently and full of resources a club has run in the league has never been this big, they would've done it with most good managers like Ancelotti or Klopp or Nagelsmann etc, there's a reason why once succeeded managers are so insecure about avoiding clubs that aren't functioning well and don't have too resources, most successful avoid going to weaker setups. And the ones seeking to make their name have to push harder with limited conditions, inferior scouting and analysis, inferior injury management, inferior environments.

I think it's (mental more than physical) fatigue; he needs a break. Bruno won't want it, and he won't admit it, but ten Hag has to take control of that situation and force rotation for a period of time.

We start scoring by playing both JZ and rashford up front. Either play 4-4-2 or 3-5-2. At least until we have the players to be free scoring.
Technically, we didn't score goals last year either.
But it was largely because we weren't creating chances. Now we're creating and not finishing. It's a bit maddening, but they'll come.
There is no style of play because even within a game there are different styles of play as soon as subs come on which clearly tell you that it’s more about individuals playing a certain way rather than a team playing the same way
