    That eye would bet comes in handy when reeling in the wire to keep it from tingling up and you would even think it would be better if it unreel fire from the roll when putting it for a fence.

      roger wilson it definitely helps out a bunch they also claim that you can unroll wire as it’s on the motor but I have not tried that yet

    Dumb question of the day:
    Just subscribed to your channel. Been watching a few of your videos. Really good. I am from Neb, worked fsrms as a kid in columbus, york areas. Never have done this job of reeling in wire. So...
    What do you attach to the end of the wire so when machine is pulling wire to keep it tight?

      Thanks for subscribing! After trying a few different things to tie on the end the best result we had was a 2ft piece of old chain

    I have several Honda motors and they are quieter and vibrate less. I'll pay the extra for the Honda. Now my brothers won't they'll by the cheaper engine, then leave it in their shop and come get my Hondas. That's sales point enough for me. I'm a tight ass when it comes to money. But my brothers make me look like Daddy Warbucks lol.

    Have you had the opportunity to use this for barbed wire? I have a couple miles of old fence to wind up and this might be the ticket. I have one that goes on the PTO of a tractor and it works well with smooth wire but just slips the clutch if the barbed wire has any grass or weeds around it.

      I have not had a chance to try it on barb wire this year I pulled 1 mile of 14gage electric wire with a chain chunk on the end and it never once slipped the clutch but I know barb wire would pull harder

      @@JMfarmandcattle Thanks for the reply. I think I might get one out for a day this summer and see how well it works. I'm replacing a couple miles of fence right now and if I didn't need to role all the old up by hand it would be well worth the cost,.

    How much is the winder, and the extra spools?

    • @JMfarmandcattle
      @JMfarmandcattle  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Keith Martin 1050 for the Briggs motor and 1200 for the Honda if I remember right. Spoils are 50 a piece.

      Good deal. Thanks for the quick reply. I was building one fron disc pans, pipe, and an old walk behind snow blower motor with clutch made from 1972 Ford AC idler pulley
