Hey everyone I am a 4th generation farmer, grew up in south central Nebraska living the farm kids dream. As I got older I was able to turn that dream of one day being a farmer into reality! Soon enough into farming I realized that I needed a second source of income to keep on top of todays lifestyle and invested into livestock! Change it and get your dad more involved in the channel. Those disk tires and spindles wear out fast . We switched to vertical tillage and runing Salford vertical tillage tools. We still do chisel plowing but on less acres each year. Nice video stay safe and farm on my friends !
I've been trying he's still a little camera shy! Haha I've heard lots of good things about Salford but they're not in our area.
That disc does a great job sizing and mixing those corn stalks

Doesn’t matter to me on the name. Both sound good.
We do a mixture on no till, chisel plowing and strip tilling each year and don’t have a set angle when we plow. We farm 4 circles and their corners and each year 2 circles are in cotton which are strip tilled into wheat crop and the other circles and corners are plowed over the summer then planted in winter wheat and the circles of cotton go into wheat too and we crop rotate the cotton but not the wheat.

I like it the way it is but it’s your channel and I’ll watch either way. There are so many channels and only so much time so I only watch channels that have cattle. I like the farming videos but cattle is what I’m passionate about.

You still ridge your fields every year tho right? And do you only ridge the gravity ground or do you do it with the pivots too?

Do you use your gas powered leaf blower very much? If not, you should look into getting something like the greenworks battery operated leaf blower. I’m getting it to go with my 40v electric pole saw. The pole saw is great for trimming trees.
I seem to use it quite often now with haying. I had a masterforce battery one did good but not as strong as I was needing
I like the new logo, looks good but I would put your brand in the lower left corner. Just my opinion
I'm guessing Murman Farms is your dad's corporation and while JM Farms & Cattle would be for just Jesse. If going with Murman, will need to pester dad to be in video more just like Welker or Larson. Hard to decide.

I think u should stick with that wagon personally. For 2 trips that's really good. In a feedlot setting a person couldn't justify even replacing a feedtruck till its 20 years old
After the weekend I talked to a company about the issue I was having and they said I can change a sprocket to slow down the reverse auger reducing the over flowing
How was the oil and water
I would say you show just as much cattle as you do grain, if not more, so Your current name fits. If you were to change it to murman farms I would like to see more grain or even give you dad a GoPro😁, but I would like that either way. Your current name is what you started with and isn’t hard to say so I don’t think that mattters.

I think Murman Farms provides a stronger identity, it says who the business is. If you go that route your name is your reputation. J&M begs the question, who/what is J&M? It is something you can hide behind if you have to. Anonymity? I like Murman, if you care about your name/reputation, it forces you to be better. Does that make sense?

Just a better model of Stihl for ya! Will blow about anything off equipment...I’d recommend The Stihl BR 800 C-E Magnum
