For Tokotoko, start from Perdida, walk all the way to the end and then Travel to Perdida. All enemies respawn. Btw you can find Tokotokos in other enemy encounters, it doesn't have to be a Tokotoko.

I find that farming Tokotokos is easier than farmin Tokocolds. If it took 40 mins tp get it to spawn, you can find over 3 Tokotokos in that time equaling the xp.

While Farming Tokotokos, I got 2 of them together in a group of 3, & after defeating them, I got 19,332 Exp. on Nintendo Switch.

Thanks. I didn't know there are mid and end game Tokos.
I recently realized I have been playing the game on random mode because I still had Mite and he started to feel pretty outclassed.
I had to start most of my team over at early game Toko & started learning about familiar, drop, treat systems at lv. 50 LOL

I traveled there the second I got the ship, but I was getting wrecked by every enemy. I came close, so I headed back to Solomon and got a Griffy.
I’ll do some more leveling before I go back to the island.

Sounds like you were quite under levelled to struggle there, or you didn't have high attacking Familiars, but you probably made the right choice in going for some different Familiars... Thanks for watching and commenting

After I defeated one Toko, it got easier.
Now, my team’s levels are doubled over-leveled.
I stopped when Oliver got to level 51, so the others were around 50.

it is much faster to use gateway instead of save/quitting

I found using gateway to be faster for resetting encounters on the ugly duckling isle

@@KitsuneKaa no problem, I did discover that tokotokolds were better for late/post game grinding thanks to you. I was too stubborn and Houghton the tokotokos having higher encounter rates made them better lol

What level do you need to be for the Tokotokos? Is 40 good to beat them comfortably?

I would say that by the time you are able to reach the Tokotokos you will be sufficient level to fight them, as they are not considerably strong. Judging only by stats though, level 40 should be more than sufficient, the true danger is any additional enemies that might be in battle with them.

What are the best familiars in your opinion?

It all depends of the character, For Ollie Catastroceros, Obscuroboros, and Dragamuffin, For Esther Grimray, Wildwood, and Nightcap, For Swaine Bone Baron, Paleolith, and Aye-Aye Sir, and for the Fourth Team Member Grimpaler, Sweetpea Sprite, Medixx, but I do want to make a more in-depth video to outline and inform about the choices of familiars for each character.

You're not wrong, their bounce animation is very similar and the big ear like things on their head
