thank you faddy781..because I faced a such a big trouble today morning..our road coverd with 3ft of flood water..I drive my scooty pep+ throug it with out stoping,after little bit laater my bike slow down and stoped engin suddenly,,so i push it out of water and try to start..about 3hours I stugle with my bike's kik,,so i sqeez the air filter and reset it and checked spark plug,,then i try.so it get start but when i try to race it stops engine so..the error with karbulator..it fill with water...so this video helps me to reset my bikes karbutaror ,1st time my self

I am having problems with starting the scooty. The battery is dead, neither the self start is working nor kick start. Earlier mechanic said it was a battery problem, then after recharging the battery the problem recurred within 48hrs. Later he mentioned there's a problem with the oil seal, it needs to be replaced. I couldn't find the required new parts in my city. I am also doubtful that the mechanic is able to pin point the real problem. Do you have any idea what could be the issue? This problem has been recurring for the past 3 years.
Indeed great video thanks for it. would u please explain what amount of petrol drain is acceptable from overflow nozzle which was located above fuel inlet hose.. in my case the drain nozzle is always wet but not leaking drops, only thin layer of petrol on the nozzle. i changed float needle also, but not succeeded so far. Last week my pep hit lowest on mileage just about 24 kmpl from its best 53 kmpl. So i started to take care the carburetor closely and found ur video was very useful. after carburetor clean and change of needle it hit back 40 kmpl but not above. would u throw me some light on this drain nozzle and electric choke??
Thank you for appreciating. that would create kind a vaccum condition when giving throttle. it all ways littel bit wet. dont worry, its common in all bikes. the overflow tube is beneath the carb.. if that is overflowing while keeping bike in side stand or center stand, then replace needle in carb.. electic choke work when temperature is low. temperrature sensor is fitted in bike which reads oil temp... if temp.. is low ..like in winter or early morning, choke will operate.
this is bit a complex job in scooty.but we can do it. need mileage measuring can or u have to make one. mileage measuring can cost 80-120 rupees or so. u might have seen in mechanic shop. u have to fill 100ml petrol and measure reading in ur bike speedometer. connecting pipe to carb. its a bit big process u can understand only by video. i will make soon.
Sir please Give me solution. I had Scooty Pep and It starts but turn off when Throttle is given. I had cleaned the carburettor but I had found a small yellow ring Which i don't know where it is placed and i had fit carburettor Without small yellow ring and The Scooty doesn't start Of we put Hand On air Filter side then it starts with full race and turn off automatically after 4-5 sec and petrol Came on Air filter side if we out hand on air filter side of carburettor. Close air screw. Clock wise. When it close fully then open it 1 ½ rotation. That is 360° full turn, from point of start and again half turn. It should work. If not then take to near bike mechanic.
There are 2 screw one with spring. That is idle screw. If you have disturbed that also then open it few truns and Star bike. If you feel your bike on higher rpm the close slowly for idle speed.
my scooty was kept ideal for nearly 9months.. i tried starting now.. battery is completely down.. tried kicking do many times, nearly morethan a hour and its got started. but when i release the accelerator, then the engine getting stopped.. getting a different odour from silencer. cleaned carburetor and air filter. that doesnt helped. any idea what will be the problem??
+Anish Vijayan : better clean spark plug once. and check the gap. i suggest you to change engine oil and transmission oil too. over ideal period oil absorb moisture from air and degrade its property. and get your battery charged.

+Anish Vijayan : to clean spark plug use metal brush or any old brake cable of bike. cut the cable n 4 or 5 strands and put in plug gap. then rinse with petrol. use ur ATM card or Credit card to check gap in plug. gap between center electrode and ground electrode will be card gap. oil filter is just insert type n close drain cap.
hello tina. you have to adjust air fuel mixture screw. for scooty pep + its one and half turns. after full closed. that means when you turn air fuel mixture screw close completely, then again open that screw one and half turn (1 1/2) you can open+1 turn also extra. but for Zest may b same i guess. hope this will work for you.
Bro, whether carburettor has to be cleaned in regular intervals like every 10k or 20k kms? Or is it only needed when we feel drop in mileage or acceleration?
Gadget U like name say "over flow" agar carburettor mai flot valve teek se kam nahi ker raha tho petrol jaada bher jaiga. Tab over flow se bahar nikal jaiga.
thanks. Air filter can b clean every 2k km run. if u drive in dusty roads then early. carb cleaning is not regular. it's a last step. if u feel jets block then u have to clean.
If you're Air fuel mixture screw was distributed then you have to correct it. You have to close screw in clockwise , when it stops, then turn anticlockwise direction to open. You have to turn (1 1/2) one and half turn. i.e one complete 360 degree turn and again half turn. You can open bit more. If you have distrub ideal screw then adjust that also. For ideling.hope you understand.

Relay is electronic choke hai. engine mai temperature sensor hai jo ki temp.. ko read ker ta hai. agar temp.. kam hai (cold condition) to phir relay ON hoga. or extra petrol bejega. to quick start the engine. normal gadi mai hum choke wire ko pull ker te hai jab gadi cold ho. like early morning in winter.. scooty mai automatic hai. hope you got answer.
@@srikanthraju4261 did the problem get solved. I have the same problem. Scooty works well for 10 mins and after that starts suffocating. If i accelerate full throttle, it takes good pickup, but when at 30- 40 speed it kind of tries to stop or slow down even if i accelerate. I have changed the spark plug, put on the breather pipe which was damaged and also cleaned the air filter. But still the issue persists. Yet to clean the carburetor

+Tejinder Singh Swaraj : To adjust petrol flow for ideal running speed you have to turn the screw. which is in silver colour and having spring in it. To increase speed you have to turn in clock wise. Other screw which is in gold colour(Brass) is for air fuel adjustment screw. If you disturb that screw your scooter mileage will drop. it is factory adjusted to get optimum mileage.

I'm facing another with the scooty. as the idle speed is properly set by the mechanic but now it sometimes increasing when scooty is in idle state. the mechanic checked everything and told the wire is good but problem is in its coils. is this true? can it be the problem, of increase in rpm/race, with the coils?? or is it just the carburettor, since the beginning we never cleaned up the carburettor because at the service centre they never mentioned and never did anything except cleaning the 'air filter' and washing it and refuelling the 'oil'. please reply Sir because I don't believe the people at the service centre anymore because I'm facing this weird problem since the last service.
+Tejinder Singh Swaraj ok. generally when you start engine in cold state and keep riding for 4 to 5 km's, engine get's warm and idle rpm will increase little bit. mechanic will adjust idle rpm only when engine is warm or hot. is your bike start normally in cold start ??... is your bike give jerk or miss fire like thing when you are driving at 40 or 50kmph?? if not then your coil is good. if above things are good, then your air fuel mixture screw (gold color Brass) is disturb in last service hopefully. that need to be adjusted. hope this tips will help you.

+Tejinder Singh Swaraj If carburetor is dirty, the jet's in carburetor (brass one Its having small holes in it) are blocked then you will not get petrol properly and may get jerk some times too. you have to clean those Jet's. if you have multi-meter then you can check your coil (HT coil) I dont have time to make video on it so i past link th-cam.com/video/rRQ45lT2d3c/w-d-xo.html you can check above link. its about checking HT coil. Its easy. If your coil shows similar reading then your coil is good.
cleaning silencer is not good idea for 4stroke engines. if u remove and clean with water, it get rust and may damage. for 2 stroke engine silencer get wet with engine oil and carbon. so need to burn time to time.

by cleaning carb gives u better ideal n pickup. if u have problem with jet block then u have to clean it other wise not necessary to open carb.

Your battery seems to be dead as problem reoccurring in very short time. Clean your Spark plug or change it. Hopefully it solve.

Did you open air screw in carburettor? It's brass screw. Maybe you have changed the position of the screw.

if ur plug dry n filled with carbon deposit. then fuel is not burning properly. need to adjust air screw.

you can check above link. its about checking HT coil. Its easy. If your coil shows similar reading then your coil is good.
