Great video, The slats on this wing look a bit wired. Starting from the fuselage side, the first and second one don't look alike. Also during take off the 3rd one closed but not the other two which closed later. Is that normal? Are the slats controlled by the pilots? How are they engaged? Thanks for sharing
***** Yes i have found a picture explaining the functionality of flaps handle in the cockpit. The outboard leading edge flap ( as they are not called slats in B747 ) gets stowed at flap 1. in flap 5 they are all extended and from 10 to 30 the trailing edge flaps move. Thank you for your help
***** True they are named Krueger flaps after the name of the german engineer Mr krueger who designed this during world war II. They exist only on B747 and B707

Cause I remember hearing SQ playing BGM before I landed at KIX as well. 2. How did you get the seat 31A? I tried to book that particular seat on my upcoming flight and the airline said that the seat, as well as other front row ones, have to be reserved for people with 'special needs' and can only be requested upon check in. Thanks for your kind answer
