As a Navy veteran and a supporter of the police these two men epitomizes why we enlisted and why we support our officers. You have to have a heart and a soul to do both...to be a veteran and a police officer.

What an amazing story and then they showed that sweet little woman tell him, "you look so good"...and go in for a little smooch. Omg hahaha that made my day.

Boy, what a missed opportunity for his children. I would drop anything to be alongside my parents during their final journey. What an opportunity to reflect/celebrate the life of their dad and be there for what is probably a really difficult transition for him.
