I have never liked or supported Zuma even when he was president. but as soon as I heard him propose that deal, I was immediately in support of it. When I saw how the media and WMC were fighting hard to block that deal, I knew we were going to pay dearly for that. Now look at South Africa now. At the time they cried about the deal being too expensive (1 trillion rand). But now we are getting close to that amount in just buying diesel for Eskom only. He has largely avoided any pressure because of the media have been protecting him, and his supporters have been massaging his ego instead of telling him his short comings and basically let him smell the reality of this country.They (supporters) armed themselves with a sets of insults to anybody who dare to criticize their diety, somebody forgot to tell them that insults and intimidations build nothing. Media Protect Ramaposa by all cost, it's disgusting they blaming ANC yet Ramaposa is a head of the ANC.
Exactly my brother. He has purged all the members who could confront him and talk some sense into him, and surrounded himself with stooges, his yes men and women. He has disabled the powers of ANC organs, such as Women's league, Youth league, MK veterans, which had a power to call him out and show him a way. He has even mingled himself in the affairs of judiciary, so he has become an absolute ruler, nobody checks him out. Due to power he holds, he has lost touch with the reality of ordinary South Africans that they face everyday.
Anyone who has plan to fix Eskom must come forward. We need an immediate solution to stop loadshedding, not these long stories of E.F.F. They are always pressing for every opportunity to talk all sorts of "cleverness " in their opinion that's how they are the best to rule this country. If words would make magic ,we would all be rich.

Part of the responsibility of being a government is to have a fore-sight of evading possible problems, and man up if you are not capable, step aside and let the capable ones try, like Boris Johnson. It's not like the problem started this week, we have had load shedding since September 2022, I remember people asking him to cancel his trip to either USA or UK, when we had this crisis. He had plenty of time to seek expect advices outside politicians to try and tackle the problem, but he didn't.
One of the major cause to the problem is the sudden increase of the demand of the coal by overseas country since the Russia/Ukraine conflict. Selling of the coal abroad has been prioritized instead of supplying ESKOM and he has been complacent about it because his loyalty lies at international people other than South Africa. He has largely avoided any pressure because of the media have been protecting him, and his supporters have been massaging his ego instead of telling him his short comings and basically let him smell the reality of this country.They (supporters) armed themselves with a sets of insults to anybody who dare to criticize their diety, somebody forgot to tell them that insults and intimidations build nothing. He cannot bribe his way to solutions.
The man is a failure, he cannot take us anywhere and is as croocked as they come, the sooner we get rid of him the better. Remember the mistakes he did with COVID 19, billions were squanders right under his nose and he took no responsibility, the riots of July 2021, many people died, he reacted too late.
