Hello, for parking mode, one end of the kit needs to be connected to the camera, but I don't have any space. There is space for one front camera and one rear camera. Where do we connect the end of the kit?
Hi! You mean you do not have a free port on the dashcam left to connect the hard wire kit? It goes instead of the traditional power supply that goes to your cigarette lighter/12V source. 😉
@@LaPalmeraie0032 No, I haven't looked at the insurance part at all. If only the parking kit connects to the camera, I don't have any free space on the camera. Since I use a rear camera, I wonder if the cable of the parking kit connects to the camera.
@@MehmetDemir-db5ip Yes of course, because it's the hard wire kit that tells the dashcam to switch to the correct mode. But, first, which dashcam do you have?
@@MehmetDemir-db5ip are you sure using the correct ports? one cable has a longer plug so it goes over the other cable. Just unplug all the cables, plug in the shortes plug in the upper port and then plug second plug with longer plug in the lower port. Please check 5:56 of the video. You see the ports AV/IN and DC/IN, the smaller AV/IN is for the rear cam.
Hello , I bought this camera, I need to buy a kit for the parking mode, but I heard in a few comments that it drains the vehicle battery. Have you experienced such an incident?
Hi! It does not as it has a low battery protection build in. This means that it will stop using power as soon as the voltage drops below a certain threshold. By default this is something like 11.7V which is way enough to start the engine.
Hello. I have the A200 and how do we know the parking surveillance is ON? Does it say 'Enter Parking Surveillance Mode' when OFF engine or the green light stays ON?
@@LaPalmeraie0032 do you mean to check for the voltage of the fuse? I'm not sure because I went for help at a local car workshop to install it. So does it mean it needs to have a specific voltage in order for the parking surveillance to work?
@fernandomilee2870 a published a new video last monday which is just the hardwire part that is also included in this video. The hardwire kit has three cables. The ground (black) wire, that should simple be connected to a metal part of the car. The continuous / + (red - not sure by heart) that should be connect to a fuse that stays live all the time. And the switched / acc (yellow - not sure by heart) that should be connected to a fuse that is switched. This means it only gets power when the car gets unlocked. This is something you can check quite easily with a multimeter but a carshop should be able to understand this and wire it correctly. Check in the dash cam menu, IF parking surveillance is available, the hardwire kit is connected properly. Otherwise you wouldn’t be able to enter this menu. Also check your « auto power off after.. » this should be set to OFF. And then all is set up correctly. Of course the battery should have enough charge. Mine didn’t stay live for a really long time until I charged the battery with an external charger. The parking surveillance remained live every whole night after that.
You should use a fuse that is free or not critical in the first place and that can have one more device added up to it as well. Which fuse that is, depends on your car of course. A min 10A fuse would be best.
It stays on in my car, except when the voltage drops under 11.8V I think. Are you sure you’re using a continuous power source? Does the battery has enough charge?
Hi this is a great video! My A200 does not automatically start up and I always have to press the power button to switch it on after I start the engine. Is it because it has been connected to the wrong fuse?
Hi! Thank you! Yes I guess. Mesure the fuse to be sure. I guess it is a continuous fuse. Also make sure you check the dashcam settings to be sure there is no auto off enabled somewhere.
Hi, I’m not sure what you mean by lock the video. Where did you saw this in the video/app. I guess it’s a function the protect the existing (full) clip from being over written.
Hi! Did you connect it to the power source? In the car, the outlet should provide power which sometimes is only when ACC is on (contact). In hous you could try a phone USB charger. 😉 Otherwise, you always have 1 year warranty so no problem.
Hi! I have a Ford Territory 2024, it has an USB charger behind the front mirror winshield designed for dash cams, I plugged it in there the first time after unboxing and it didn't work, then I tried the 12v contact with the USB adapter included in the box and also didn't work, at home USB charger also doesn't work... Very bad wiring, I don’t want to damage my new car sealing and packing for this wiring. So, don’t want to buy this camera. I will check if someone professional can do wiring without damaging the car. 😀
🤔 he will do it exact the same way… you not seeing it being wired doesn’t means it will be done better or different. You do not damage anything. It’s is made for being openend for repairs etc 😉
Do you have it as well? I found it more than OK for the purpose. I even use footage in 1080P holiday videos and it works great. If you really need 4K footage, go for the A810 model instead but you must be willing to pay the price that goes with it as well.
@@LaPalmeraie0032 No I don't, but thankfully we have this video to see that the video level is far far behind of any today. You can be satisfied, but the image is really behind the time.
@writenamehere0000 well… if you want to turn a 4k movie this entry level dash cam won’t be for you. If you just seek some evidence of an impact, it will do without doubt. It saved me recently with a parking surveillance video. But hey… live and let live 😉

Hi, the picture in picture is only on the dashcam and in the 70mai app. Once downloaded the front and back camera are separated videos.
How can i display the speed in km/hr in recorded footages? Please reply
Normally this is where you can set if you want the logo too, but the A200 doesn’t have a build in GPS so it can’t show the speed neither I’m afraid 😉
