Honestly march of the oni was the best ending because I felt like it was perfect because if it ended in season 2 then we would have never had Season 4-6 or the oni trilogy and we don’t talk about crystallized so March of the oni is the best for me
Honestly the best ending to me is season 10 it feels like a natural ending I would have just given it 10 episodes instead of 4. Also if it was up to me season 10 would have been the last season of og ninjago after this there would have been a 2 year break and ninjago would have returned with Dragons Rising animated by Wild Brain.
Crystalized: 🤢 bad writing, „why is the overlord a human goat?“, wasted overlord, pythor, harumi and Mr. E potential Oni: 🤩 ultimate ending, good writing, three season arc, the oni conquered every world (also chima, and chima is always a plus point) Season 2: 😇🤩😢🫡😎 I love it, its undescribeble. Its so tragic that i cry. Its scary. I cried thousands of tears when the lloyd had to leave the other ninja behind, i cried when nya turned evil and was scared about the fight between lloyd and the overlord, and i cried again when garmadon turned good. When lloyd could finally have a real father. Its the best and emotional of ninjago.
I woulda ended crystalized with garmadon going on firstbourne and fulfilling his desire of making the world in his own image, leaving to the first realm
Honestly, for me the best ending of a season has always been season 2. Many people don't like this season but for me the finale was amazing. I will never forget this atmosphere, how scary Overlord was back then, how Lloyd became the most popular spinjitzu master. And above all, I have the impression that the music worked best there. If this was supposed to be the original finale of the series, it was perfect for me. The Serpentine are locked in their tombs, Lloyd has grown up, like the rest of the ninja, Garmadon has become good and peace reigns. Kai's speech ended this season nicely I have the impression that with each subsequent season, the expectations for the finale grew higher. Therefore, Crystalized and March of Oni have wasted potential. Their finale ended everything strangely, quickly and with wasted threads. Seasons 3-6 had good endings but of course not as the series finale. Although the finale of season 4 was top notch. Season 7 and 8 are cliffhangers. Season 9 had a pretty okay ending. 11, weak, 12 okay, 13 cool, seabound was very sad and touching
Yes, but it’s really stupid for the Mechanic, who has no powers, no abilities besides engineering, and no special thing about him to say that to Nya. HE is what he’s, himself, attacking. A normal person who can fight. It should’ve been Aspheera since she took her power.
Your take on Season 2 honestly intrigued me. I recall you putting it pretty low on your tier list and I was honestly anticipating you kinda taking a dump on it. Interesting to see you defending the Mega Weapon as a writing tool also.
100% agree sometimes i wish march of the oni had been the end and that was it. it tied things in nicely without feeling like it was trying to put everything into one. lloyd choosing to stay is one of my favorite scenes too
March of the oni ending felt like the TRUE ending to the franchise and original series of ninjago. With all the memories that the ninja were reminiscing, a few references to even the pilots. And see how it all came together.and sure the season was short, however I would argue that it fit perfectly as an ending to the trilogy and the franchise overall. And to top it all off, Lloyd meeting his grandfather for the first time has to be arguably the best scene in all of ninjago.
You can literally tell that season two was supposed to be ninjago's last season. when the overlord turned into that black dragon, misako said that was his last form, but literally next season, he comes back in a new final form, and so they kinda retconned him having a FINAL form
My biggest problem with the Oni arc is the dumb decision to stop making dvds! Hunted and March of the Oni, they just decided that they didn't deserve to have physical releases?! I'm a big physical guy and this hurts.
same😭absolutely heartbreaking to me that ninjago has next to no physical preservation. if netflix and google drive went offline half of ninjago would just be.. gone.
@Crusty783 That's why Skybound/Day of the Departed is the end of my physical collection. It's not as good as March of the Oni, but with Sons of Garmadon being the only physical release, I don't like cliff hangers. Skybound concludes the love triangle with Nya choosing Jay; Garmadon is allowed to rest as a hero; the realm crystal shenanigans are resolved until SoG; and Skybound is the finale allows for everything after S2 without needing to include Hands of Time.
I think season 2 is the best ending, however I'm glad the show didn't end there, as the best parts really were ahead, however I do think the second half of season 2 is better written than march of the Oni, and I actually like the Overlord in season 2. In later appearances he did become just the architypical big bad, he has all the same traits in season 2, but has others that were dropped afterwards, season 3 as well actually to a lesser extent. He was quite sarcastic and actually pretty funny in season 2, and had a genuinely chilling line, "Then all I have to say is... goodbye." Is so cool, and carries on the established trait from "How could I? You were monologuing." That the Overlord doesn't let himself be distracted by his speaches, meaning that the fact that he loses in season 15 because he was monologuing was them somehow managing to mess up his ONE distinctive trait. But despite that, if I were to pick an end point for the show, it'd be season 10, since I don't think anything worthwhile came from the 11 minute era, except the sets, the actual sets were even better than the old ones. Oh, and maybe some parts of Master of the Mountain.
If they going to bring the overlord back it should be the final one and the other problem is the way he lost didn't help either season 15 happened way to early they should give nya entire season to bring her back
season two is definitely a great season, I understand how some people won’t like it for all of the filler, but they were still fun adventures for the ninja, and then when final battle arc started, it was some of the greatest episodes of the show, two this day the final battle ark is my favorite part of the entire show
Honestly the original golden ninja can’t be outclassed in my opinion. I’m not saying it is my favorite season but it just feels like it’s the “strongest” any ninja can get and the dragon form of the overlord feels like his realest form/closest thing to actually being alive which is why I think it is the best ending.
I used to imagine the Final season of Ninjago, having the Overlord return with an army of Vampires. And the Ninja assembling every single Ninjago character in a massive final battle against the Overlord, which results in Lloyd using his golden power to defeat him. This would for some reason give back the Ninja's original designs, and end up killing Lloyd. Then we would cut years later, where all the Ninja have kids and are telling stories of their adventures in the past, with them all hanging out around the 4 weapons blacksmith shop, ending it the way that it began.
idk if i agree. lloyd's OT story just wouldnt feel complete to me, and ending out garmadon's OT story with him being hauled off to prison before his character arc is able to wrap up would be so lame imo.
I know this isn't true but I personally view Master's of Spinjitzu and the 11 minute ninjago as separate series. They're both canon but crystalised doesn't feel like a conclusion to the first 10 seasons
The final battle with the golden ninja vs overlord was my favorite. Lloyd reached his full potential, peace arrived in Ninjago and Garmadon became human again. It was perfect
I agree with this completely. MotO was AMAZING. It was where I originally stopped watching. Then i decided i may as well just keep going with the wildbrain era too. Then i didnt wanna start dragons rising after the horrible ending of crystallised. But MAN im glad i did because it's peak
Okay, so originally, I was gonna say u could watch the March of the Oni ending and jump onto Dragons Rising without needing to watch s11-Crystalized But I forgot Kai speaks about seabound in Drs1, and Arin mentions the Never Realm in ep 1 so-
Crystallized could’ve been the BEST season with just a few small changes, imagine.. just a few very small changes and it could’ve been the best season in ninjago history and it really is true when you think about it
@@Crusty783 yeah you’re right but most of the problems really don’t even need that big of changes and that’s what gets me so mad about this season, it’s that it’s mostly easy to fix and they were just too lazy to do so
Though I enjoy the season, I agree with @@Crusty783 about the season being flawed. The pacing for one thing, as well as several characters (we all know the big 3 that everyone points to, and I agree that they fumbled the bag with all three of them. But I also hate Mister F, he’s basically pointless to the season.), it’s just a messy season that shows that 1. The old world of Ninjago (Pre-Merge) was getting tired and 2. The development was so messy that it showed in the final product. If I were to compare Crystalized to anything, it would be a meal that a chef started out well on, but things got so frantic that the dish was ruined by the end. Though I have some issues with Dragons Rising, it is overall an improvement over Crystalized and thank goodness that Dragons Rising changed things up.
@@IsleofPigsStudiosthe season should not happen this early because if they going to bring the overlord he should be the final villain and he should be more powerful he should be a oni and dragon and they way he lost was stupid
@@ayhamahmad2277 I said nothing about the Overlord or when the season was placed. And to be honest I don’t want the Overlord to return again. Period. Despite Harumi being a mess and how much I hate Mister F, The Overlord was the only villain I was dreading to see when the sets were revealed.
I would have to say season 2’s ending is better because of how full of dread everything is before that. Only reason season 10 ending is better for me is because of the rest of the show happening. But the terror you feel when 1 by one each ninja is corrupted on that stairway. It is scary for a kid man.
Guys I gotta say how happy I am to see so many so many people LIKING MOTO!! I loved the season, I never really enjoyed the wild brain seasons as much until probably The Island/ Seabound as that’s only when it got good.. Such a satisfying conclusion, great writing and still had the dark tone which I loved! Also felt like the last mature season Ninjago had been leading up to from the pilots. I just also wish it had longer length.
In my opinion, what made March of the Oni such a good ending was because it was written by the original writers. Like, let's be honest, Kevin and Dan Hageman are still the best Ninjago writers. Had they been brought back to write the ending, like how Marvel used the writers of Avengers, Dan Faverou, and the Russo brothers to write Infinity War and Endgame, Crystalized would've been way better.
March of the Oni wasn't written by the Hageman Brothers. It was actually Bragi Schut's first solo writing job for Ninjago, who would go on to be Ninjago's main writer until his final season, Crystalized
i remember back in the day, really wanting a minifigure of garmadon half-consumed by the overlord in that one scene in s2. while it does seem like something a lego knockoff would make, it's a really cool character design and i personally would've done a fair bit more with it (i honestly think it beats the giant dragon he takes form in later). ngl, everything else but the last 5 episodes of s2 were kinda meh, but those 5 episodes are some of my favoriates, and i'd be SO happy if they could do some kind of remastering of that scene (with the visual quality of dragons rising, the new character designs, and lloyd's new(?) VA).
I think the most satisying to me is The Final Battle but I consider March of the Oni to be the definitive ending even if there's some things that hold it back and others that I wish could've happened, and crystalized... unfortunately exists.
Honestly I feel like ninjago has a bad habit of reviving characters. Like Harumi, her death felt impactful and like she was gone but unfortunately she was revived and it removed a ton of weight. Garmadon shouldn’t have been revived or at least not how he was, Garmadon was one of my favorite characters and his death was really tragic which is how it should feel, but his revival was super dull, he was just revived but evil again.
I've heard that seasons 11 to 15 was considered to be a separate show (hence why they dropped "Masters of Spinjitzu" from the title), if that's the case then it really should've been officially what happened because the Oni Trilogy kind of wrapped up the 1st Spinjitzu Masters story.
My one issue with the Oni trilogy is how the ninjas just don't use their powers, like at all during sons of garmadon. The second they start using their powers, they actually start beating the sons of garmadon with relative ease.
I agree with this ranking and everything said. Ninjago is infamous for having amazing season finales but not so much series finales. I really do think it's an achievement in it of itself that Ninjago was able to have 3 series finales (with a 4th coming in Dragons Rising) over the course of its lifetime. How many shows can claim that? Also, I'm sorry I have to do this but it's a staple of the channel at this point. Crusty when he realizes he's gone 2 days without complaining about Crystalized:
@@dvqjacks7735All opinions are valid. They may differ from person to person, but that’s what makes us human. The fact that we all have different opinions and tastes.

Lloyd’s entire character writing is irritating and contradicting harumi was terrible this season overlord is still an uninteresting villain garmadon is turned into comic relief
@@Aspect-tq2zv I tolerate Crystalized more than most fans but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t have problems. My biggest issue is the pacing, especially from 23-27. At some points it feels like it’s racing faster than Sonic the Hedgehog, and other points feel like it’s going slower than a snail. The pacing is all over the place.
No tbh if they used lloyd's oni power more in season 15 then it might be the best ending in ninjago and as well as that march of the oni is 4 episodes long
I was ready to get mad in your comments but I actually agree with most if not everything you said in the video. I personally really love march of the oni ending. It was not at all the most impressive final battle yet probably the most impactful. I was wondering for the last 3 episodes how the heck were they going to beat the onis and the answer was also very beautiful in my eyes. W video
I feel like March of the oni while having many good moments. Didn’t feel as much like a finale as season 2 or crystalized does. With s10 we knew things were still gonna continue even if studios were changed. With season 2 it was planned as the end and has more moments and interactions that really make things feel like they’ve gone through many great journeys. And crystalized very clearly was planned as the creators end and leaving point to a franchise they were with for many years. I feel my main problem is the “endgame” armies coming in since it kinda puts the weight of the dragons forms achievement down a bit since they don’t need those armies after that point. Would’ve been better to have all those characters coming to help build the monestary to show their appreciation for all they’ve done. Rather then it feeling like “we traveled all the way here might as well help out too” with how it actually felt in execution
I would love to see you make a review on LOTGN. I personally don't like this ssn at all, i think it's my 3rd least favorite season, but I would love to know why you said what you said about lotgn. I basically disagree but i'd love to know why.
Personally i think a Ninjago ending with Cystallized spectacle and March of the oni's full circle moments and "creativity" would make the perfect Ninjago ending anyway i hope Dragons rising has an Ending better than march of the Oni with how good the series has been i think its ending will probably be the best one
Off the top of my head (I just woke up so I may be forgetting something obvious): -The Ninja Team is expanded from 6 to 9 members -The show is now produced in Unreal and has massively improved visual fidelity as a result -3D animated LEGO artstyle now has a more painterly look to it (in the words of the creators) -The show is the most serialised a Ninjago thing has ever been -New Villains entirely (Ras, Forbidden Five) -Dramatic expansion of Ninjagos Lore -Has a set endpoint in mind unlike OG Ninjago which just chugged along with no destination -The Merge (every single realm smashed together to form one giant world, completely reinventing the worldbuilding of Ninjago in a really cool way)
my favorite is the og one if the oni ending would have been longer and Garmadons Oni Face fixed + the tornado of creation more flashed out/explained it would be it and crsytelized should have went with an original villain like a corrupted Elementel master of Crystels and not the Overlord (just let him stay death with his rival), and some other smaller or bigger things like with Nias return, it was good but we as a viewer needed more time showing the other ninja grif like with a mini season and the actual creation of the new ninja (techno ninja because of their gadjets)
I feel like the oni good part of the lies that I enjoyed was when Lloyd was in his oni form like the one with herroomei made him go part oni and he was getting on now and then full on all need a mask for arms I think and everything and he just stops him self really made me upset because I want to see more of the evil Lloyd.
I mostly like crystaliezed but when everyone was about to battle and then pixal was like “how about a drill instead” I was like BRUH THE BIG MOMENT WAS ABOUT TO HAPPEN and now I despise pixal
I feel like each of these ending had their own strength and shortcomings. If only elements from all three of these are put together. but otherwise i agree the MArch of the Oni is relatively the best ending so far
Fun Fact: Ninjago Hands Of Time was originally planned as the final season, but it was scrapped halfway trough the production, to you have an idea, this was so certain to happen, that you have even an script to this verison, so because of this, I'll count it on my ranking 4- Hands Of Time; As an ending, that script wasn't too good, it seemed like there wasn't a full on focus on this being the ending 3- Crystalized; Everything he said + everyone's charcter arcs being reseted 2- March Of The Oni; It was just rushed 1- Lef=gacy Of The Green Ninja; YES
I feel like crystallized would have worked better if it was a near unstoppable enemy and in Wus last ditch effort he merged the realms to stop it. Not saying this enemy needs to be Raz’s master just such a powerful enemy that Wu has not other chance other than to crush it in the merge
not a huge fan of moto but i agree with the ranking so hard . id easily take it over s2 and crystallized ironically in terms of the villains in each season i think the omega and the oni are easily the worst , but the characters of the ninja and garmadon in moto make up for all that way more than in the other seasons
Crystallised’s ending makes me sad. It sort of ruined most of the wild brain era for me, like it’s bittered how I see season 13 and sea bound especially. Can we decanonise it???
Weird observation but I feel despite both Deadpool and Wolverine and crystalized being the same questionable quality, I feel like the former at least went all the way through and doesn’t pretend to elevate itself it’s self aware. Crystalized pretends and uplifts itself saying Harumi is redeem when it didn’t go through with it. So to sum up Deadpool and Wolverine is Micheal bay and crystalized is Zack synder. Also I’ll admit Deadpool and Wolverine helped save me mentally after a horrible last year, and I’m glad you liked at least gotg :)
I havent seen D&W, but if you say its on the same writing quality as Crystalized, that is a huge statement to make, like in order to write a character worse than Crystallized Harumi, at this point you have to be actively trying
Eh Deadpool 3 is umm well the thing it has over crystalized is that literally from the opening scene it shows if you would like the film or not and doesn’t try to deceive and give you false hope unlike crystalized Like the opening scene is really ballsy and disrespectful if you know what I’m talking about, while crystalized baits you into thinking there would be lasting consequences lol
Season 2 and March of the Oni were best for me, it should've ended with season 10, its the definitive ending, everything after 10 is in another timeline.
After hands of time, when they made the ninjago movie, we watched it and my little brother who watched the series for so long started crying so much because he absolutely hated how they changed his favorite characters. In my opinion every single season after hands of time is garbage. I don't want to upset those who like them but I love the old seasons and they will forever be in my heart.
s2 is a perfect ending, the problem is that after them there are very good seasons, so i think the best ending is s10, the 10 best seasons by far (dr1 and dr2 are also very god) its like a crytalazed well did, old things, fan service but good wrtiting
March of the Oni last episode is one of the best Ninjago episode in my opinion, it was so satisfying to watch, sure MotO is the weakest season compare to the first 2 Oni seasons but that ending was to still amazing. I was gonna pick Legacy of the Green Ninja but because Rebooted ruined it so MotO wins by default
As a season I think that season 10 is by far the best of the 3, but as an ending I think that season 2 is the best. Season 10 feels like a rushed and poorly set up ending. You have these two really good 10 episode seasons that have a continuous story and high stakes, but then the actual ending is a 4 episode season that immediately follows it. I am also not a big fan of that Harumi doesn’t have an impact at all in the rest of the oni trilogy, so if the show ended right here the things Harumi did to Lloyd would feel pretty unimportant. At least season 2 as an ending was built up since season 1 and feels like it concludes the show, even though I don’t like pretty much anything that actually happened in it.
Copying my comment from the community post: I know this is a hot take around here, but low key I think MOTO is the worst ending of the three. The stakes are poorly communicated, the story beats feel rushed, and even in terms of spectacle it's just lacking. The Oni are a very nothing enemy - whereas the Overlord, while not special, is at least a real character that we can hate. MOTO is decent in its own right, and what it does with Garmadon is great. But imo it's disappointing even as an ending to the Oni Trilogy, let alone the entire series
he is not nostalgia blinded 🙏🙏 Season 10 to me aswell. The oni could be better yeah, but I don't really mind it much Season 15 - 30 episodes (11 min), none of the 4 core ninja have an arc, Nya has a recycled one and Lloyd's just ruins his character for some reason Season 10 - 4 episodes (22 min), every ninja has some kind of arc (except for maybe Zane and Jay), somehow manages to have an actual emotional fake out death (I think it was important for that Lloyd and Garmadon interaction after)

11, weak, 12 okay, 13 cool, seabound was very sad and touching
Everyone hates how the mechanic speaks to Nya but he's a villain - he's just mentally attacking Nya

Couldn't agree more
You can literally tell that season two was supposed to be ninjago's last season. when the overlord turned into that black dragon, misako said that was his last form, but literally next season, he comes back in a new final form, and so they kinda retconned him having a FINAL form
Misako didn't say it was his final form, she said it was his original form. Meaning he most likely looked like that when he fought the FSM.
I think season 2 is pretty good but there was so much more to explore after
I wish March of the Oni was longer, but out of these 3 finale seasons Season 10 is my personal favorite of the finale seasons
mine too.
Season 10 has my favourite ending out of the 3
mine too i thought it was going to be the end and i was satisfied
If they going to bring the overlord back it should be the final one and the other problem is the way he lost didn't help either season 15 happened way to early they should give nya entire season to bring her back
season two is definitely a great season, I understand how some people won’t like it for all of the filler, but they were still fun adventures for the ninja, and then when final battle arc started, it was some of the greatest episodes of the show, two this day the final battle ark is my favorite part of the entire show
season 2 finale atmosphere is so good
Crystallized: Ass
March of the Oni: Good
Legacy of the Green Ninja: Best
Dragons Rising: ???
Honestly the original golden ninja can’t be outclassed in my opinion. I’m not saying it is my favorite season but it just feels like it’s the “strongest” any ninja can get and the dragon form of the overlord feels like his realest form/closest thing to actually being alive which is why I think it is the best ending.
No Crystalized is the peak of humanity
Is it just me or the crystalised poster look like the endgame poster?
It's meant to. They purposefully copied Endgame's poster to try to let us know this was Ninjago's Endgame
Good thing you ain't in a writers room 🔥🔥🔥🔥
@@D4N1LO lmfao
Why Vampires? Why does Lloyd have to die for that?
@@Cass0wary_399 I have no idea, it was just my stupid imagination.
The epilogue doesn’t sound bad
Ninjago has a big problem with ending:
1: it can never *actually* end
2: none of the ending seasons r that good imo
I love season two ending because Lloyds journey felt ended
In my opinion season 9's ending would have been perfect if they didn't set up the oni. Season 10 ending was still great though
idk if i agree. lloyd's OT story just wouldnt feel complete to me, and ending out garmadon's OT story with him being hauled off to prison before his character arc is able to wrap up would be so lame imo.
lol they planned to revive harumi in season 9, maybe they would have had an actual arc lol
MOTO is so underrated
yes.
Okay, so originally, I was gonna say u could watch the March of the Oni ending and jump onto Dragons Rising without needing to watch s11-Crystalized
But I forgot Kai speaks about seabound in Drs1, and Arin mentions the Never Realm in ep 1 so-
Arin talks about the never relam
Crystallized could’ve been the BEST season with just a few small changes, imagine.. just a few very small changes and it could’ve been the best season in ninjago history and it really is true when you think about it
I think it needed a bit more than a few small changes to be great. I think its a deeply flawed season
I wish loyd actually went full on oni mode
He should have used it in season 10
everyone did
Guys I gotta say how happy I am to see so many so many people LIKING MOTO!!
I just also wish it had longer length.
i like to think of the new ninjago (season 11 and beyond) as a whole new dimension
@@Crusty783 Ah, didn't realize that.
i remember back in the day, really wanting a minifigure of garmadon half-consumed by the overlord in that one scene in s2. while it does seem like something a lego knockoff would make, it's a really cool character design and i personally would've done a fair bit more with it (i honestly think it beats the giant dragon he takes form in later). ngl, everything else but the last 5 episodes of s2 were kinda meh, but those 5 episodes are some of my favoriates, and i'd be SO happy if they could do some kind of remastering of that scene (with the visual quality of dragons rising, the new character designs, and lloyd's new(?) VA).
I think the most satisying to me is The Final Battle but I consider March of the Oni to be the definitive ending even if there's some things that hold it back and others that I wish could've happened, and crystalized... unfortunately exists.
yeah march of the oni felt the most like it was soposed to be the end the way it ended with the tornado of creation was cool.
I think it’s S2, but even that was nothing special. Hopefully Dragons Rising gets it right.
S2 feels very complete but S10 will always be better to me
Honestly I feel like ninjago has a bad habit of reviving characters.

I feel like season 2 ended the series perfectly with enough room for fan creations but also being a good ending
MARCH OF ONI my fav
No tbh if they used lloyd's oni power more in season 15 then it might be the best ending in ninjago and as well as that march of the oni is 4 episodes long
I was ready to get mad in your comments but I actually agree with most if not everything you said in the video. I personally really love march of the oni ending. It was not at all the most impressive final battle yet probably the most impactful. I was wondering for the last 3 episodes how the heck were they going to beat the onis and the answer was also very beautiful in my eyes. W video
thank you! :)
@@Crusty783 you're welcome

As someone who hasn’t watched dragons rising yet can you please explain how it’s different to the original ninjago show?
Off the top of my head (I just woke up so I may be forgetting something obvious):
-The Ninja Team is expanded from 6 to 9 members
-The show is now produced in Unreal and has massively improved visual fidelity as a result
-3D animated LEGO artstyle now has a more painterly look to it (in the words of the creators)
-The show is the most serialised a Ninjago thing has ever been
-New Villains entirely (Ras, Forbidden Five)
-Dramatic expansion of Ninjagos Lore
-Has a set endpoint in mind unlike OG Ninjago which just chugged along with no destination
-The Merge (every single realm smashed together to form one giant world, completely reinventing the worldbuilding of Ninjago in a really cool way)
my favorite is the og one
if the oni ending would have been longer and Garmadons Oni Face fixed + the tornado of creation more flashed out/explained it would be it
and crsytelized should have went with an original villain like a corrupted Elementel master of Crystels and not the Overlord (just let him stay death with his rival), and some other smaller or bigger things
like with Nias return, it was good but we as a viewer needed more time showing the other ninja grif like with a mini season and the actual creation of the new ninja (techno ninja because of their gadjets)
1:23 "for me" and most of everyone else.
me personally, season 10 had a proper (best) ending
I feel like the oni good part of the lies that I enjoyed was when Lloyd was in his oni form like the one with herroomei made him go part oni and he was getting on now and then full on all need a mask for arms I think and everything and he just stops him self really made me upset because I want to see more of the evil Lloyd.
I dont know season Nine was a pretty good ending which felt very final
yeah mines that or season 10
My final season was season 5 i stopped watching from then on and i was satisfied
you definitely gotta get back on imo. worth it literally just for the oni trilogy alone, let alone dragons rising
I mostly like crystaliezed but when everyone was about to battle and then pixal was like “how about a drill instead” I was like BRUH THE BIG MOMENT WAS ABOUT TO HAPPEN and now I despise pixal
Bro the best ending of all sesons is The seabound ending,I shred a tear.
I feel like each of these ending had their own strength and shortcomings. If only elements from all three of these are put together. but otherwise i agree the MArch of the Oni is relatively the best ending so far
Og Season 2 ending better than crystallized
Fun Fact: Ninjago Hands Of Time was originally planned as the final season, but it was scrapped halfway trough the production, to you have an idea, this was so certain to happen, that you have even an script to this verison, so because of this, I'll count it on my ranking
4- Hands Of Time; As an ending, that script wasn't too good, it seemed like there wasn't a full on focus on this being the ending
3- Crystalized; Everything he said + everyone's charcter arcs being reseted
2- March Of The Oni; It was just rushed
1- Lef=gacy Of The Green Ninja; YES
March of the oni could have been so much better if it got the full 10 episodes but it was still great and better than season 2 and crystalized
I feel like crystallized would have worked better if it was a near unstoppable enemy and in Wus last ditch effort he merged the realms to stop it. Not saying this enemy needs to be Raz’s master just such a powerful enemy that Wu has not other chance other than to crush it in the merge
not a huge fan of moto but i agree with the ranking so hard . id easily take it over s2 and crystallized
ironically in terms of the villains in each season i think the omega and the oni are easily the worst , but the characters of the ninja and garmadon in moto make up for all that way more than in the other seasons
yeah MOTO is carried hard by its protagonists. still tho i think omega is a better villain than overlord for his thematic links to garmadon
s2 was perfect
I feel like ninjago has quite a few jumping off points. Season 2, Season 5, Season 9, Season 10, and Season 15
I meant gotg 3
I havent seen D&W, but if you say its on the same writing quality as Crystalized, that is a huge statement to make, like in order to write a character worse than Crystallized Harumi, at this point you have to be actively trying
Eh Deadpool 3 is umm well the thing it has over crystalized is that literally from the opening scene it shows if you would like the film or not and doesn’t try to deceive and give you false hope unlike crystalized
Like the opening scene is really ballsy and disrespectful if you know what I’m talking about, while crystalized baits you into thinking there would be lasting consequences lol
Season 2 and March of the Oni were best for me, it should've ended with season 10, its the definitive ending, everything after 10 is in another timeline.
I just began watching Crystallized, so I'll see if you were correct
if we arnt including what would happen if it ended then season 2
For me personally, classic ninja go ended at season 8

Calling it now DR's ending will be with creation powers
Doubt it since Lloyd isn't the main character anymore. Could be wrong tho
I prefer the crystallized ending because now I don't have to watch 5his season have 40 eps
Funny how every time there’s an ending to ninjago it always had a terrible villain let’s hope dr doesn’t end that way
completely agree
Copying my comment from the community post:
I know this is a hot take around here, but low key I think MOTO is the worst ending of the three.
For me Crystalized is top 3 season
3: Season 6(imo)
2:Dr. s2
1 the oni Trilogy

Season 10 to me aswell. The oni could be better yeah, but I don't really mind it much
Season 15 - 30 episodes (11 min), none of the 4 core ninja have an arc, Nya has a recycled one and Lloyd's just ruins his character for some reason
Season 10 - 4 episodes (22 min), every ninja has some kind of arc (except for maybe Zane and Jay), somehow manages to have an actual emotional fake out death (I think it was important for that Lloyd and Garmadon interaction after)
ibr early few episodes of crystalised were fucking goated and I acc liked the zombie theme, but cmon, how do newspapers beat the vengestone warriors.
