Thanks for your review, very good snapdragon 8 gen 3. Good idea from SmallRing but unfortunately bad product. It will be nice to test more macro capacity (with or without additional lens... Any good kit to attach Raynox or other lenses?) and compare the 14mm and 85mm results (you can find some пауки-скакуны or others insects in Moscow)
I got this lately and I noticed some things. This device does not have lag when used in humanistic mode, however for normal mode it does have lag, very odd. It means it has the capabilities to work with no lag. I think the biggest thing I'd want from the vivo x100 ultra to be perfect is if I could shoot super/raw with high res option on the 200MP camera, along with macro mode having a high res options. I think if high res CAN be used, then it should be implemented in most mods, because.. why not ? If humanistic mode had high res mode + raws I would use it probably 99% of the time (besides macro mode) due to how simple and comfortanle it is

I usually use it in third party app on a tripod, never recorded for more than 10 minutes outside of heat tests, in normal app, but it was okay during just daily use
Nicely done video. Lots of useful information. Was mostly interested in the Photography kit how it is made and if it is worth the money, but it is a piece of plastic with the ability to apply filters which I can also do with a cheaper kit with a clip. I don't want to be negative but that cover you had on there is for two things- nothing and nothing :D It completely covers the laser focus which is right under the Zeiss logo.

Battery life on Xiaomi is not bad, but not great, definitely will have 10-20% on Vivo depending on usecase, while Xiaomi will deplete. Video on Vivo is mixed feelings, sometimes it is very good, sometimes my face is pink with magenta oversaturated lips. But on Xiaomi without log my face is almost always orange and oversaturated, but I feel like I prefer Vivo more for video. But I never saw any smartphone with good video nowadays... Samsung, iPhone, pixel, etc, they all do something weird with colors, sharpness and noise reduction...
Vivo is not the only one that allows you to do that, OP12 also allows you to do it. I think you should visit the OP12, because I think it's so high value and can compete somewhat with vivo as well.
@@danishblunt9698 Hello my friend. In master mode like Oppo? For example in Oppo you can tweak sharpness etc in master mode, but HDR exits the chat, as well as almost all tonal computation. And Street photography mode on Vivo allows to tweak shutter speed with the same full HDR and computation. Please try this on OP12 with that mode and without on high dynamic range situation and tell me, if you get to the same computing powers in highlights and shadows.

I have the mi 14 ultra and my Photographie kit hast only Missing the Magnet and the tripod mount but the mount i dont miss. But Overall it Looks better build then yours. Mine absolutly dont Sound that cheap as yours. I also have a Glas in Front of the cam, but No holes because there accumulates the dust. Overall i think the bt connection ist a Bad Thing to do! ITS allready near the USB Hub, so use it! But where is the wrist band???

@@therepearblack3552 Hello my friend. If you are using phone as it is, it has no ability to attach any filters. If you are using this smallrig case, it has magnetic adapter, you need specialty magnetic ring or even special magnetic filter, with 67mm thread. I am just using a clamp, and thinking about diy and 3d printing a simple attachment. I suggest to look at "Nisi true colors", they usually give almost no color shifts, Freewell makes nice filters too, but has slight color shifts. I am personally using cheap filter from "Walkingway" and attached magnetic rings for ease of switching between lenses on mirorless cameras. They are not ideal, but more than enough for me
@@DreamCatcher101-6 I feel like this can give you more versatility, macro, zoom, night mode, astro modes, auto night panoramas, raw portraits. Only downside can be fast moving subjects and sport, but I guess point and shoots will have the same problems
I was initially considering rx100 vii or zv1 as I needed a camera without crappy over sharpening bs that smartphones do , but I'm considering going with 14ultra or x100 pro (ultra not available in my country ) and while I'm thorougly impressed by photos , video seems lot to be desired. I primarily want ( in a fixed room ) to shoot my music recordings but I also travel a lot so I wanna document it well . Bc of that i even also considered an iPhone, but its photos are really lackluster. what would you do in my situation? I don't mind shooting in log and editing it later.

@@adithyants242 it depends on how on the go it is. For walking and filming yourself I would definitely go for pocket 3. For studio shots where you don't have to walk with it, I would go for a dedicated camera, something like s5ii or a7siii (zve-1) or even zve 10 can work. As for the smartphones, I kinda do not like nor iphone, nor samsung, nor anything on the market. It can work for general stuff, but on youtube I can easily spot "iphone look". On xiaomi I feel like log is better, but I prefer external app, like mcpro24fps, image is just better than stock log, and file sizes are reasonable, but support depends on camera .api which is ignored by manufacturers for some reason for the most part.

Умоляю помочь с выбором нового телефона так как у меня уже голова болит. я выбираю между Vivo x100 ultra , oppo find X7 ultra ( лучший мне кажется в зуме и по цвету он даже лучше чем виво или нет Я НЕ ЗНАЮ), Samsung и iPhone но только бу. В общем и целом очень тянет к китайским телефонам НУ ОНИ ПРОСТО ИЗУМИТЕЛЬНЫ В ПЛАНЕ КАМЕР но ЛИКВИДНОСТЬ И РЕМОНТНО СПОСОБНОСТЬ УБИВАЮТ ВО МНЕ ЖЕЛАНИЕ ПРИКУПИТЬ ОДИН ИЗ НИХ. И если на то пошло по вашему профессиональному мнению на несколько лет вперёд какой лучше взять чтобы делать ОФИГЕННЫЕ фотографии и видео и есть ли шансы что виво допилят до идеала. @@r3vine719 Здравствуй друже! Я сейчас работаю над двумя видео, один по Сони, и сразу после этого будет огромное сравнение новое, может это лучше поможет определиться с выбором. Мне нравится Vivo тем, что можно настроить уровень резкости, контраста, насыщенности в авто режиме и не потерять HDR и вычисления, добавить к этому выбор цветового профиля, и очень расширяются возможности. Так же макро заметно лучше и проще фокусируется. Приближение мне кажется тоже лучше, в большем количестве случаев даёт хороший результат, особенно ночью, особенно если поиграть с резкостью, то 10x и 20x можно даже лица снять без сильных искажений рисовкой. Из минусов могу выделить не всегда впечатляющее видео на Vivo, в плане цветов. Я бы не советовал ни Samsung ни IPhone для фотографий, например у меня был s24ultra и результатом недоволен, сейчас тестирую яблочную систему, iPhone 13 pro, и тоже результатом совсем недоволен. Насчет ремонтопригодности тяжело сказать, сегодня все корпорации активно с этим борятся, но я видел на AliExpress даже комплектующие, такие как экраны и батареи и т.д. Насчет ликвидности так же не всё очевидно, s24ultra у меня хотели покупать в основном по цене бу s23ultra, я "потерял" 400$ перепродавая его, и мне очень повезло, те же самые iPhone 12 можно купить уже по 25 тысяч, и такая же участь будет ждать 13 и 14 в скором времени. Так же, если время позволяет, возможно в следующем году дождаться новых моделей и сделать окончательный выбор, так как мне действительно не просто дать совет, оба телефона хороши по своему, по слухам там будет ещё интересней дела в новых моделях, но это лишь слухи. Космические дни тебе ✨🛸
Короче лайфхак тебе, есть на ВБ нагрудный ремень для крепления техники, стоит чуть больше тысячи. Чтобы удобнее было снимать на улице то как ты снимаешь на улице. Не благодари )
Smallrig case is totally stupid for taking photos. Every single photo you take, the phone refocus in the middle of the screen. It's terrible ! for example: If you point at a person, it will be focused on the face/eye. Then, when you take the photo using the smallrig, it will then refocus in the middle of the screen, losing the focus of the face. If you press normal shutter button on the phone, the focus will be correctly on the face or eye.

What case & screen protector is this (could you share a link please)?
I got this lately and I noticed some things.
This device does not have lag when used in humanistic mode, however for normal mode it does have lag, very odd. It means it has the capabilities to work with no lag.
I think the biggest thing I'd want from the vivo x100 ultra to be perfect is if I could shoot super/raw with high res option on the 200MP camera, along with macro mode having a high res options.
I think if high res CAN be used, then it should be implemented in most mods, because.. why not ?
If humanistic mode had high res mode + raws I would use it probably 99% of the time (besides macro mode) due to how simple and comfortanle it is
For 13:45 Buildings of the Past i recommend to dig into Mudflood / Tartaria etc....

I usually use it in third party app on a tripod, never recorded for more than 10 minutes outside of heat tests, in normal app, but it was okay during just daily use

Nicely done video. Lots of useful information. Was mostly interested in the Photography kit how it is made and if it is worth the money, but it is a piece of plastic with the ability to apply filters which I can also do with a cheaper kit with a clip.
I don't want to be negative but that cover you had on there is for two things- nothing and nothing :D It completely covers the laser focus which is right under the Zeiss logo.

@@Shoby My friend, today I will upload grand video 💎 With tons of examples. I will say, it depends. But for me it definitely Vivo. Battery life on Xiaomi is not bad, but not great, definitely will have 10-20% on Vivo depending on usecase, while Xiaomi will deplete.
Video on Vivo is mixed feelings, sometimes it is very good, sometimes my face is pink with magenta oversaturated lips. But on Xiaomi without log my face is almost always orange and oversaturated, but I feel like I prefer Vivo more for video. But I never saw any smartphone with good video nowadays... Samsung, iPhone, pixel, etc, they all do something weird with colors, sharpness and noise reduction...
Vivo is not the only one that allows you to do that, OP12 also allows you to do it.
I think you should visit the OP12, because I think it's so high value and can compete somewhat with vivo as well.
@@danishblunt9698 Hello my friend. In master mode like Oppo? For example in Oppo you can tweak sharpness etc in master mode, but HDR exits the chat, as well as almost all tonal computation. And Street photography mode on Vivo allows to tweak shutter speed with the same full HDR and computation. Please try this on OP12 with that mode and without on high dynamic range situation and tell me, if you get to the same computing powers in highlights and shadows.

I have the mi 14 ultra and my Photographie kit hast only Missing the Magnet and the tripod mount but the mount i dont miss. But Overall it Looks better build then yours. Mine absolutly dont Sound that cheap as yours.
I also have a Glas in Front of the cam, but No holes because there accumulates the dust.
Overall i think the bt connection ist a Bad Thing to do! ITS allready near the USB Hub, so use it!
But where is the wrist band???

@@therepearblack3552 Hello my friend. If you are using phone as it is, it has no ability to attach any filters. If you are using this smallrig case, it has magnetic adapter, you need specialty magnetic ring or even special magnetic filter, with 67mm thread. I am just using a clamp, and thinking about diy and 3d printing a simple attachment.
I suggest to look at "Nisi true colors", they usually give almost no color shifts, Freewell makes nice filters too, but has slight color shifts. I am personally using cheap filter from "Walkingway" and attached magnetic rings for ease of switching between lenses on mirorless cameras. They are not ideal, but more than enough for me

@@DreamCatcher101-6 I feel like this can give you more versatility, macro, zoom, night mode, astro modes, auto night panoramas, raw portraits. Only downside can be fast moving subjects and sport, but I guess point and shoots will have the same problems

I was initially considering rx100 vii or zv1 as I needed a camera without crappy over sharpening bs that smartphones do , but I'm considering going with 14ultra or x100 pro (ultra not available in my country ) and while I'm thorougly impressed by photos , video seems lot to be desired. I primarily want ( in a fixed room ) to shoot my music recordings but I also travel a lot so I wanna document it well . Bc of that i even also considered an iPhone, but its photos are really lackluster.
what would you do in my situation? I don't mind shooting in log and editing it later.

@@adithyants242 it depends on how on the go it is. For walking and filming yourself I would definitely go for pocket 3. For studio shots where you don't have to walk with it, I would go for a dedicated camera, something like s5ii or a7siii (zve-1) or even zve 10 can work.
As for the smartphones, I kinda do not like nor iphone, nor samsung, nor anything on the market. It can work for general stuff, but on youtube I can easily spot "iphone look".
On xiaomi I feel like log is better, but I prefer external app, like mcpro24fps, image is just better than stock log, and file sizes are reasonable, but support depends on camera .api which is ignored by manufacturers for some reason for the most part.

И если на то пошло по вашему профессиональному мнению на несколько лет вперёд какой лучше взять чтобы делать ОФИГЕННЫЕ фотографии и видео и есть ли шансы что виво допилят до идеала. @@r3vine719 Здравствуй друже! Я сейчас работаю над двумя видео, один по Сони, и сразу после этого будет огромное сравнение новое, может это лучше поможет определиться с выбором. Мне нравится Vivo тем, что можно настроить уровень резкости, контраста, насыщенности в авто режиме и не потерять HDR и вычисления, добавить к этому выбор цветового профиля, и очень расширяются возможности. Так же макро заметно лучше и проще фокусируется. Приближение мне кажется тоже лучше, в большем количестве случаев даёт хороший результат, особенно ночью, особенно если поиграть с резкостью, то 10x и 20x можно даже лица снять без сильных искажений рисовкой. Из минусов могу выделить не всегда впечатляющее видео на Vivo, в плане цветов. Я бы не советовал ни Samsung ни IPhone для фотографий, например у меня был s24ultra и результатом недоволен, сейчас тестирую яблочную систему, iPhone 13 pro, и тоже результатом совсем недоволен. Насчет ремонтопригодности тяжело сказать, сегодня все корпорации активно с этим борятся, но я видел на AliExpress даже комплектующие, такие как экраны и батареи и т.д. Насчет ликвидности так же не всё очевидно, s24ultra у меня хотели покупать в основном по цене бу s23ultra, я "потерял" 400$ перепродавая его, и мне очень повезло, те же самые iPhone 12 можно купить уже по 25 тысяч, и такая же участь будет ждать 13 и 14 в скором времени.
Так же, если время позволяет, возможно в следующем году дождаться новых моделей и сделать окончательный выбор, так как мне действительно не просто дать совет, оба телефона хороши по своему, по слухам там будет ещё интересней дела в новых моделях, но это лишь слухи. Космические дни тебе ✨🛸

Smallrig case is totally stupid for taking photos. Every single photo you take, the phone refocus in the middle of the screen. It's terrible !
for example: If you point at a person, it will be focused on the face/eye. Then, when you take the photo using the smallrig, it will then refocus in the middle of the screen, losing the focus of the face. If you press normal shutter button on the phone, the focus will be correctly on the face or eye.
