It is interesting interpretation of this execution. It's very different from executions that I'm used to.

    BRAVI!!!!
(My only suggestion is something I see quite often happening in cello ensembles which is the principal cellist not acting like a concertmaster (which he/she is at that moment). The first cellist should always be very participative (even more when they're not playing) showing with they're body language all of the sudden changes in tempo and dynamics. But I think it's something really hard to do (specially in this piece which is already hard by itself) because we cellists are not used to being concertmasters and also because we can't move your instrument as freely like a violinist does. But given all that, all cellists of this ensemble did an amazing job keeping time and also the intonation, which was very on point, awesome chamber music practice!)

I realize it was originally written for strings. But, Busoni’s transcription for piano is so much more visceral.

Originally it is written for violin solo. I played it and it is very hard because you have to play all the chords on a single violin

I can say that the violin sounds more dramatic than the cello. This pace is somewhat bland too. Tempo dynamics... Good arrangement tho.

this ensemble should have a violinist as a lead player and cello as accompaniment. Then this ensemble will play this violin Partita in Dm original key. the cello pitch is a lower sound and sound weird to hear those violin high pitch sound.

Thanks for your comment, Lawrence. This is a cello studio recital, and the goal here is showcasing the cello studio by adapting repertoire for cellos.

it is very hard for cellists to maintain the intonation (specially in group) of these high pitched passages, specially if the notes are fast, but I think they did an awesome job

Слабая доля не может быть громче сильной доли в каждом начальном эпизоде, это нонсенс которым страдают многие исполнители этого произведения, слушать не хочется.
