This is the first video you guys did that came on my feed. We live close by the Hot Springs. The owner knows my husband. Bernie Karl. Incredible guy. Before Bernie, nobody could make money operating that place. Bernie turned it into a world class operation.
You did well showing the place. We don't go much because we have our own outdoor hot tub system. Six hundred gallon capacity, two chambers. Heated with wood using a snorkel stove. We harvest our own wood right out back so we pay zero for heat. We pay zero state or local taxes and harvest a lot of our own food/game. Very frugal living.

Your life sounds like a TH-cam channel I would love to watch :) Everything from the hot tub set up to harvest a lot of your food! Bernie really did a great job with the place. It would be incredible to go in the winter. Maybe someday!

We were invited to a Wedding at Chena Hot Springs. We live in Wisconsin. We flew into Anchorage...the wedding couple picked us up at the Airport...we drove. Stayed a night in Talkeetna on the way. Short drive into Denali. Stayed at a cabin in Fairbanks. Drove to Chena...what a wonderful wedding...reception in the Hot Springs. Smiles. Travelling home...we took the alaska RR from Fairbanks to Anchorage. Brother lives in Anchorage...so we visited for a couple days and it was off on our flight back to WI. What an adventure.

Oh yes we know that route! What an awesome trip! You got to see a good part of Alaska and experience some musts when in Alaska. Everyone definitely remembers that wedding!

Brother now lives on the Kenai. My last trip I spent a week driving from one corner of the Kenai to the other, up to Anchorage...and back to Spencer again. Bird watchers' paradise, eh? Saw TWO species of the Puffin...and had King Crab in Homer to celebrate...smiles. @@NickandJulie

You guys have an AWESOME CHANNEL. VERY surprised that you only have 6k subs. How long have yall been doing this?? Also have 2 questions if you don't mind answering. 1st, what year and size is your truck F250 or F350?? 2nd, with only 6k in subs,,, I would assume youtube wouldn't pay enough to provide the funds to travel so much. How do you guys afford to do this lifestyle? That may even be a cool video to let your subs in on a little bit of your lives. Never the less I look forward to seeing more of your videos. GOD BLESS and best of luck 🙂

Thank you 😊 we’re surprised or maybe demoralized that we only have 6k too 😂 we’ve been traveling in a truck camper full time since October 2021. We’ve been making TH-cam videos for years.
Our truck is a 2016 F250 but it came from the factory with a f350 suspension. So it’s a f350 with a f250 badge. And we made a lot of changes to it to be able to handle the weight of the camper. Yes, you are correct with 6k subs we don’t make much on here. We rented out our house and that is our main source of income. We supplement it by working sometimes. It’s been working out okay so far, thank God. We should definitely make a video like that but we wanted to answer your questions in the meantime. Welcome to the channel! 😃

Do you have to stay to visit visit the Hot Springs or can you just visit the Hot for the day? If so, how much is the entrance?

You don’t have to stay there you can visit the hot springs for the day. I think it was around $20 per person but I should’ve said the price in the video.
