I have read many books, I listened to many TH-cam videos by many of the worlds leading gurus and health experts but nothing came close to the hidden herbs by anette ray. I recommend everyone giving it a read.
Very informative video! 😁 I have recently been to the doctor about my flat feet since the older I get the more painful they become (I’m in my mid 20’s) and so this video helps me to understand my condition and how to reduce my pain and discomfort. Great video
excellent video with great presentation, really easy to understand and apply. I've used trilocks and taping for years and it has helped tremendously. oh, and good shoes with store bought lifts have been so helpful. Dr. Tom showed me how to tape and exercises that have helped. will check out the other vids you mentioned if I haven't already. thanks for the helps, hope people are listening, cause the advice and direction is great

Excellent information doc, i'm having grade 1 flat foot, had " fallen arches " due to injury while running 2 months ago. I'm wearing semi rigid/plastic over the counter Insoles in my running shoes and its immediately eliminate the foot pain!! I was wondering if i am able to use a static bike for exercises during this healing period ( with the orthotic soles in it ) or should i just rest my foot for couple of weeks until the pain is lessoned? Thanks doc
Hi doctor! You always recommend cycling when there is an ankle problem but in sports cycling you use shoes that attach to the pedal. Due to these specific shoes, the push on the pedal occurs on the axis of the metatarsal heads and in case of ankle instability the rearfoot still yields downwards... as in my case. How can this problem be solved? I found some relief by using free shoes and pedals and pushing with the midfoot on the pedal but I lose speed and I have a little medialization of the knee which sometimes hurts a little. Thank you
Maybe I am over corrected. The hard orthotic a foot doc recommended is causing me painful ankles, shin splints, painful knees, hips n back. My balance is horrible. I have had arthritis in knees, back n toe prior to the insole. My shoes prob need to be better. I am too broke to even replace my shoes.
Yeah - that was the excuse my mother used to call the type of pain I was in all the time as a child! Finally when my knee dislocated when I was standing on top of the stairs and I fell down the stairs and ripped everything laterally, and yes, it was just as bad as it sounds! I then walked on a knee joint that was completely dislocated for a week before my parents noticed something was wrong with me. I was a a scheduled for surgery within a couple of days and that was another f-cking nightmare - no pain meds unless yoy were screaming which when my quadriceps went into spasms and I was in a cast,I literally was screamed. One time they made me wait, because the nurse with the narc keys was at lunch so I got to cry until she got back. I became a RN and pain assessment and treatment was ALWAYS WHAT THE PATIENT SAYS IT IS! Now obviously if someone’s in a coma, you can’t medicate them but otherwise, pain is what the patient says it is! Anyway, the 1st doc I’ll be seeing is the podiatrist as I have the highest grade of flat foot bilaterally as well as bunion’s highest grade.
My feet have been flat all my life. My footprints look like Bigfoot...lol! I have severe over pronation in my right foot, instep actually protrudes sideways. I have custom orthotics. I do start having hip pain if I don't wear them. Saucony shoes really work for me.
@@DrTomBiernacki I should but don't like wearing shoes in the house. Anytime outside I wear good shoes. It was my chiropractor who discovered the over pronation in the right was causing that leg to be a bit shorter than the left. This somehow was causing pain left hip. He ordered custom orthotics thru his practice (his total evaluation of patients includes feet). Rarely do I have pain currently since.
Dr's really need to stop saying there is no such thing as "growing pains" because there is. More of an ache than pain, but none the less, very uncomfortable. You grow from 5' 2" to 5'10" in 7 weeks, like I did at 14 years old it kinda hurts from time to time. Especially in the legs and arms. And 95% of the time while sleeping. I've had it, my 4 brothers had the aches and pains during growth spurts, all of whome are over 6 ft. My children, friends, everyone. So there's either some mass illusions that everyone feels when there body is stretching/growing up and out or there is actual discomfort when it does. I've felt it, it sucked, and I didn't imagine it
It depends what your situation and goals and definition of fixed is. Most people that I meet, feel over pronation & flat feet are the same thing, but they are not. There are so many variables such as hips, back, knees muscle weakness and tightness that can be corrected and can be the true underlying cause over improper function and over pronation or flattening 🙂
This is absolutely terrible advice. People need to have STRONG feet, not inserts. It's amazing how many doctors are actually ignorant about the human body.
I do actually say this in the video, believe me, I have seen 1000s of "barefoot" walkers come in with crippling pain and wondering why it's not working: as your pain and soreness goes away, as your strength and flexibility increases, then barefoot walking is great. Foot turning out as a result of tibia and fibula orientation is not pronation. It's supination. Feet rolling in is not pronation. It's eversion.
