Perfect demonstration. It's essential not only to talk about what one needs to do but to actually show how it is done. You have certainly done that. Thank you.

Thank you for this video. I really appreciate it. I just ordered a Kanile'a ukulele and I want to take very good care of it.

What do you use for natural finish ?

Lem oil works perfectly for the UV cured natural finish, per our master luthier Joe Souza

Thanks for the video! I’d also like to know how to properly care for the fretboard. Do you use the same polish as the body, or something different?

Aloha, we use a lemon oil for fretboards. Next week Saturday’s video release is about exactly that. So stay tuned.

@@KanileaUkulele Lemon oil, not mineral oil? Why have you chosen lemon oil over mineral oil (other than it smells good)?

@@usernamemykel Aloha, thank you for the question. The slight acidity in lemon oil will actually clean the fretboard of its gunk and grime and moisturize it at the same time.

The microfiber cloths can be washed... we don't recommend washing suede cloths.

Can this be done on all finishes? I have a Kanile'a Natural finish

I notice this is Step 3 of D’Addario's 3-part system. Is there ever a need to use Steps 1-2?

Step 3 is the one we find to be the most effective for an all around use. The results speak for themselves in this instance.

Lovely music BUT - you have a very soft voice and we'd really like to hear you. The music is totally unnecessary for the tutorial.
