Wow, I have a k1 dlx superconcert, a MGM special like he used to get them from Kanilea, back when their UV finish was new. It was my last bday gift from grandpa too, so never letting the one go. From grandpa and Musicguymic, super special, and the best playing uke I have. End of an era.
Just discovered your very informative videos. As an elderly ukulele student I’m fascinated by the instrument and how it’s born. Is the kanile’a concert k3 available? Thank you
Not sure what to do now. I was ready to purchase another K-1 model. I know they won’t be discontinued but will there be upgrades to them? I love the standard K-1 models, but I don’t want to miss out on something. Love all the video content. Thank you!
My tablet combined with my AMD suggest you sometimes demo an instrument with right handed stringing and sometimes left. Do my eyes deceive me? If so it isn’t fair you can play either way!
They don't make anything in China that replaces the KSR-T or the K-3. They are discontinuing them because several new models are coming out (Hawaiian made) that will replace them. The Kanile'a OHA series are the same spec as K-1 and KPA ukes which both still exist as Hawaiian models.
Those K-3B's...wow! Especially loved the premium...or was it the tune? just beautiful! Thanks for giving us the opportunity of enjoying the instruments before they become history....
Anuenue are made in China, specifically their moonbird series. Doesn't really matter where they're built if they're built by a master luthier and a great workshop. Judge ukulele by its build not by its location
Beautiful rendition of It's a wonderful World! Thank you Alex.

I have a K3 A K3 concert, but would love a K3 Tenor. That one is gorgeous and what a sound!
The Kanile’a premium tone is so very beautiful but probably your playing… well done Alex
Edit love the Master also!
Thank you for sharing.. I'm looking forward to trying out there 2024 models

The K-3 Tenor is still available. There is no concert in the video and it's been a few years since we had one of them sorry.

They won't be upgrading the K-1... The K-1 is the standard unbound model. If you upgraded it, it would be a different model.
Thank you!
i heard they will introduce cuban mahogany model.
Nice

I don't overthink it. On the rare occasion a lefty uke is available to me to demo I will but pretty much all the demos are upside down
I like Kanilea ukulele’s, but the support is terrible. I have some problems with my Willie K and still waiting for a response.
Probably best to buy via a dealer than direct. I have heard this before...
WOW WOW WEEEE OH NOOOO
Doesn't surprise me that's why they didn't rebrand the cheapened Chinese
models same thing Taylor did with their 100,200 series guitars

@@SouthernUkuleleStore we'll see I won't be surprised k 1 next to go
But it hasn't yet... so cheer up 😆

Smart guitars you can control with a Tesla brain implant ?
Think I will stick to physical instruments thank you, hypothetical case.
