Great interview that touches on so many elements of what it takes to become a successful trader that often don't get discussed. The key to being successful is YOU.
My main takeaway was that trading leans towards a bigger % of psychology over strategy. (If your heads not in it, you can't win it) Doesn't matter how good your set up is, if you're unprepared for the knocks/or ready to ride the pain train, don't trade.
Etienne, I’m coming in late as far as release dates of these interviews, but I’m loving each one I see. You ask great questions and allow the guest to speak, bravo! I am a MES future scalper on an island, meaning, I have no community. I think I would like to find one, any suggestions?

i started trading 2002 and read this guys books and his Friend Louise Bedford , im from the same country , he has his own ideas but at the end of the day they both are Marketers and made all there money from Marketing how to trade or at least 90% , read between the lines or the words ?
I have to say Etienne this is one of the best interviews yet , this man talks so much simple ,common sense about trading , it's insightful , thanks Paul
Hi etteine you doing a wonderful job n we appreciate your efforts I am a South African would you please interview s.a traders particularly the young stars I thank you inadvance
This is a gem of an interview. I'm so glad I'm living where he is, I should catch-up over coffee to absorb his wisdom in this erratic weathered Melbourne 😂
I really laughed at 8:50, when he says it was difficult to get books to Australia because they were sent to Austria. It's exactly the same as what Louise Bedford said in her interview, th-cam.com/video/MvAk6ym3BpQ/w-d-xo.html, at 3:50 where a book she had ordered ended up in Austria and she had to pay double tax :D
Why do all traders talk about things being simple? There mist be a thing as being too simole as well? Buying on a moving average crossover wont work, the same with buhing a hammer placed in the middle of nowhere. Overused cliche. I believe you can have a complicated and advanced system and make it work.
Plus if they would expose their strategies and systems, people would follow the same and the retail brokers and bankers would misuse that information. The system would stop working aka everyone would lose in the end. This is why "profitable strategies" online is bs. These traders talk about important things that they Can expose without getting their system into risk of stop working. Hope that helps.
@@timvincent8649 no one can expose his or her strategies .I think it is a skill that you develop as you trade .I'm a beginner i wanna learn from different people . U think for me copy trading is a way to go to learn from experienced traders.
What's your main takeaway from this interview?
Bad trading is changed by changing yourself for the better.
Your trading can’t evolve if you can’t evolve as a person.
That I'm on the right path. Chris is a really interesting guy.
Most traders trade short-term and for pleasure. And this is a business. If you treat trading as a hobby, then you will have the results.
"events are just catalysts"
"markets move on emotional sentiment"
-spoken like a prophet
Wonderful insightful interview
No hype no unrealistic promises
Just truth, human element & hard-won wisdom. Thank you both.

Is it a good idea to have a stock broker in Uk?
Yes, Mate. It is.
@@saanvi848 Please why do you say so? I wanna know. I have lost a lot. Trying to manage my stocks myself.
I’m too tied up with work. I have no time to analyze which stock to buy.
One of the most inspiring talk about trading psychology I've heard in years.
Glad you liked it!

So much click bait in that thumbnail /sigh
Great videos but this guy Ettiene really needs to go to some english classes
You're right... I'd make a good teacher
Nobody tells the exact methods in all these video lectures
These aren't classes, they are interviews. You can learn my method through many videos on my channel
Okay
