I have been trading for about 6 months now and just about every trade backfires and slaps me in my face. Nearly impossible for me to catch more than a few points I try to do top down analysis but it doesn't work for me . I say to myself, clearly I'm in the 90% that lose money, so I open a demo account, do my analysis, then take the opposite of what I would normally take and get the same result. Your problem could be your stop loss is too close or you're watching your trades too much. Place it and walk away. Or you could just give up, trading isn't for everyone.
@@barbel.barbie Don't listen to her, don't give up. Trading takes time(months, even years) to master, even the pros learn everday. Never the less, if you lose money no matter which side you take, maybe you need to look at how you are managing active trades rather than how you are entering them. My advice, find a mentor . And also, try incorporating the use of oscillators, Bollinger and pivot points into your strategy. And most importantly move to higher TFs(4h or 1D preferably), you'll thank me later.
@@davidbastiaan1 You're correct, I don't lose money every single trade, but my main problem is trying to let my runners run. Very rarely do I catch big moves . Instead they go a few pips in my direction, then go against me if when I try holding them. Also my entries could use a lot of improvement. A mentor would be amazing, but getting one is easier said than done. If it's not too much to ask, do you know any legit ones?

He is correct. When a trade starts to move against you and that thought of "wait and see" happens it is time to close the trade fast. Almost every time I have waited to close a bad trade the loss doubles within minutes. Know how to recognize when you are wrong and cut losers fast.

Impressive video. I started a bit late (graduated from my doctorate program at age 30 in 2016 with 170k in school loan debt). Managed to pay off my debt by 2019 and currently have a house and 250k total in investments (combo of profit share, 401k and a brokerage account). I'm not very knowledgeable in investing, so I just have my investing currently in index funds mainly voo, but have been putting a lot into schd the past few months. I dunno if that's the optimal strategy, but psychologically it is very set it and forget it, and prevents me from obsessing over individual stock performance.

Great video! Piked out this morning. Took a 90% profit on a 452C this morning, then watched it finish the day up 800%. I told myself, you never go broke taking a profit. LOL. I tried kicking myself, but, my legs don't work that well.

The sound was just a little over-modulated, but that’s nothing out of this world. Still a dope episode. Recording audio on manual instead of automatic gives the best audio, but over-modulation is a risk. Just gotta put it a little lower when recording, then bring the audio up in post-production. But I don’t see the big issue, the episode is dope!

Okay but is not luck, is all about having good investment plans most of all trading with a trust worthy expert. Trading is such a difficult journey. After smoking a live account I have been in SIM for 5 months and its so hard. B The trader has been reassuring in a good way.
Keep learning from Sykes and especially his Millionaire students courses from Dux,Wolf and Grittani helped me a lot, BUT also retrack the data in a spreadsheet so you understand their journey and process better. Also I recommend to make pictures of every single strategy. At least 30x times so your subconscious mind will be trained on the Pattern to recognize. If you don't have the money for all the courses just go to work or be creative to get them... Focus only on One or two Patterns in the beginning. It helped me a lot. I love the pre market Breakout pattern or also called Opening Range Breakout.

My biggest lesson was understanding that every obstacle I went through came outside of trading. I had to improve my mindset outside of trading and only then did I start to see consistency in trading.
I lost over $70K when everything started to tank. Not because I was in an exchange that went belly up. I was just stupid to hold and because that's what everyone said. I'm still responsible. It just taught me to be a better investor now that I understand more of what could go wrong. Your strategy does not work around the clock 365 days a year, nobody’s does. You have to recognise when you are going through a period of your strategy not working. Trade in much smaller size during this period or not trade at all. Wait for your strategy to show itself working again. It will come.

I look at those twitter posts of pictures that say 'just wait for it' i.e. last one was a picture of a shadow of a tree on a garage door. OK, So? then someone circled it, and suddenly I saw a face. So it's about how our eyes and mind work, aka perception. As traders, transfer that to watching price. Notice how we mostly just see the move...after the move? How was it hidden? Why didn't I see it until too late? How can I train my eyes to see it developing for when I can do something about it? For myself, I got rid of all indicators except pivots. Then zoomed out to monthly, weekly, daily, 4hr, and down to the 1 minute. Got to use ALL time frames, then search for your set up, pattern, until it jumps out at you from whatever time frame. I also found it useful to focus on just 1 or two stocks. Nail the time frame, pattern recognition phase first. Like Nico said, muscle memory. There is no shortcut, you have to grind, and grind, and grind. As a trader over time, you will notice the market fake outs, the news fake outs, the areas where traders are trapped, how the MM's drive price to liquidity, which means driving price down to hit obvious long stops for longs below support, then ripping price up to stop out shorts above resistance. Then our psychology, perceptual, and hardwired factors that have to be mastered. Beliefs, bias, etc. tons of internal crap that has to be self revealed to understand our own tweaks & twitches that undo a great trade. I've learned a lot about myself and how to slowly strip away the blurry filters we are subconsciously influenced by. Long story short, you have to love this game, be obsessed by it, to get through the hard work. 'How to think like a Professional Trader' on youtube by Mark Douglas helped me. It would be great if this topic was explored with more detail by "B the Story." Good job by the way. Cheers.
I see exact same thing bro. MTF analysis is key. Confluence or conflicts (C&C) of multiple time frames. Confluence produces major breakouts or breakdowns. Conflicts produce trading ranges. Second key is how to see the C&C clearly and distinctly. This proprietary knowledge essentially becomes your significant trading edge. I will not divulge it. Third key is mental strength for discipline & patience as the C&C patterns slowly but assuredly reveal themselves. Then you'll instantly know what side of the trade to be on. For me it's like a greed switch that flips on. Similar to the sex switch when finding the girl you like. It's about a 95+ percent hit rate when you're keyed in to the 3.

The steps to becoming profitable are to learn 2-3 stocks entirely on how they move. Don’t take a biased side long or short. Manage your risk but only shoot on high probability setups. I have been trading for about 6 months now and just about every trade backfires and slaps me in my face. Nearly impossible for me to catch more than a few points I try to do top down analysis but it doesn't work for me . I say to myself, clearly I'm in the 90% that lose money, so I open a demo account, do my analysis, then take the opposite of what I would normally take and get the same result. Your problem could be your stop loss is too close or you're watching your trades too much. Place it and walk away. Or you could just give up, trading isn't for everyone.
@@barbel.barbie Don't listen to her, don't give up. Trading takes time(months, even years) to master, even the pros learn everday. Never the less, if you lose money no matter which side you take, maybe you need to look at how you are managing active trades rather than how you are entering them. My advice, find a mentor . And also, try incorporating the use of oscillators, Bollinger and pivot points into your strategy. And most importantly move to higher TFs(4h or 1D preferably), you'll thank me later.

Instead they go a few pips in my direction, then go against me if when I try holding them. Also my entries could use a lot of improvement. He is correct. When a trade starts to move against you and that thought of "wait and see" happens it is time to close the trade fast. Almost every time I have waited to close a bad trade the loss doubles within minutes. Know how to recognize when you are wrong and cut losers fast.

Impressive video. I started a bit late (graduated from my doctorate program at age 30 in 2016 with 170k in school loan debt). Managed to pay off my debt by 2019 and currently have a house and 250k total in investments (combo of profit share, 401k and a brokerage account). I'm not very knowledgeable in investing, so I just have my investing currently in index funds mainly voo, but have been putting a lot into schd the past few months. I dunno if that's the optimal strategy, but psychologically it is very set it and forget it, and prevents me from obsessing over individual stock performance.

The sound was just a little over-modulated, but that’s nothing out of this world. Still a dope episode. Recording audio on manual instead of automatic gives the best audio, but over-modulation is a risk. Just gotta put it a little lower when recording, then bring the audio up in post-production. But I don’t see the big issue, the episode is dope!

Trading is such a difficult journey. After smoking a live account I have been in SIM for 5 months and its so hard. B The trader has been reassuring in a good way.
Keep learning from Sykes and especially his Millionaire students courses from Dux,Wolf and Grittani helped me a lot, BUT also retrack the data in a spreadsheet so you understand their journey and process better. Also I recommend to make pictures of every single strategy. At least 30x times so your subconscious mind will be trained on the Pattern to recognize. If you don't have the money for all the courses just go to work or be creative to get them... Focus only on One or two Patterns in the beginning. It helped me a lot. I love the
pre market Breakout pattern or also called Opening Range Breakout.

Your strategy does not work around the clock 365 days a year, nobody’s does. You have to recognise when you are going through a period of your strategy not working. Trade in much smaller size during this period or not trade at all. Wait for your strategy to show itself working again. It will come.

Loved his persistence and consistency on trading. Though I feel his answers to the questions were too general. I think he wasn’t giving any clues he discovered on the way to his success. B the trader did a great work on trying to find those clues but I feel he just wouldn’t share. That’s no cool!

I look at those twitter posts of pictures that say 'just wait for it' i.e. last one was a picture of a shadow of a tree on a garage door. OK, So? then someone circled it, and suddenly I saw a face. So it's about how our eyes and mind work, aka perception. As traders, transfer that to watching price. Notice how we mostly just see the move...after the move? How was it hidden? Why didn't I see it until too late? How can I train my eyes to see it developing for when I can do something about it? For myself, I got rid of all indicators except pivots. Then zoomed out to monthly, weekly, daily, 4hr, and down to the 1 minute. Got to use ALL time frames, then search for your set up, pattern, until it jumps out at you from whatever time frame. I also found it useful to focus on just 1 or two stocks. Nail the time frame, pattern recognition phase first. Like Nico said, muscle memory. There is no shortcut, you have to grind, and grind, and grind. As a trader over time, you will notice the market fake outs, the news fake outs, the areas where traders are trapped, how the MM's drive price to liquidity, which means driving price down to hit obvious long stops for longs below support, then ripping price up to stop out shorts above resistance. Then our psychology, perceptual, and hardwired factors that have to be mastered. Beliefs, bias, etc. tons of internal crap that has to be self revealed to understand our own tweaks & twitches that undo a great trade. I've learned a lot about myself and how to slowly strip away the blurry filters we are subconsciously influenced by. Long story short, you have to love this game, be obsessed by it, to get through the hard work. 'How to think like a Professional Trader' on youtube by Mark Douglas helped me. It would be great if this topic was explored with more detail by "B the Story." Good job by the way. Cheers.
I see exact same thing bro. MTF analysis is key. Confluence or conflicts (C&C) of multiple time frames. Confluence produces major breakouts or breakdowns. Conflicts produce trading ranges. Second key is how to see the C&C clearly and distinctly. This proprietary knowledge essentially becomes your significant trading edge. I will not divulge it. Third key is mental strength for discipline & patience as the C&C patterns slowly but assuredly reveal themselves. Then you'll instantly know what side of the trade to be on. For me it's like a greed switch that flips on. Similar to the sex switch when finding the girl you like. It's about a 95+ percent hit rate when you're keyed in to the 3.
Getting rich off crypto is much tougher than it seems. I keep losing money while trading with these youtub videos, and finding a trustworthy professional trader to help out with these trades also appears to be nearly impossible. This is extremely annoying

The steps to becoming profitable are to learn 2-3 stocks entirely on how they move. Don’t take a biased side long or short. Manage your risk but only shoot on high probability setups. And Commit fully. but always always always manage risk. The day I decided I have to get this and I have to try it with 100% of my effort was the day my life changed. Also a daily routine is key. Treat it like a 9-5. No days off. Don’t force anything
