It would depend on the room size. Not if the room was too small to comfortably accommodate it no. If the TV is too big for the space it can make it horrible to be in the room. It's hard to get an idea of scale because we can't see how big the room is?

I am having a toss up between the LG QNED86 86 inch model and the Samsung Q70D 85 inch model. I have always been a Samsung fan but it seems as if the LG just might convert me. I have an XBOX series to play games with and often watch sports and movies. Any suggestions will be much appreciated! TIA
It depends on the room. Most living rooms in The UK are too small for a TV this big. I know someone with a 80" TV. It's horrible being in the living room. All you can see is this stupidly big TV. You need the right size room. 65" is probably the maximum British homes can accommodate.
actually most websites recommendation for 65" TVs is 2m (6.5ft) distance for movies and up to 2.7m (9ft) for generic usage. I think most living rooms in the UK are bigger than 2.5m
looking for a quick answer. I am looking to replace an older tv in my bedroom since I got out of the hospital. I'm either looking at the Samsung S90J, LG C3 or budget tv Neo Qled QN90C. This is strictly for gaming and streaming some netflix. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
Hi friend!. I want a QNED NanoCell to play PlayStation and watch the Euro Cup this summer. Last year I tried the 2023 50" version but I had to return it because it was defective. The thing to ask about this new 2024 version is if there is much difference and if the color and panel is good for playing, above all.
I think you're doing yourself a disservice by not opening with the information that this is sponsored content (by LG). I mean honestly this sounds like you are just reading the same info I'd get by googling the model. Your criticism(?) of 'in built speakers are as good as you'd expect.. so go buy this expensive LG soundbar.. sounds like you're grasping at straws. It sucks because you clearly know your stuff and I was considering this model so would've loved your own opinions on the model with depth. Because you didn't really state any sponsorship or partnership info makes it sound like you're hiding it (which I don't think you are as it's in the description), which doesn't make you seem like a valuable source of information and kinda makes me second guess whatever it is you're saying. Sorry mate, I understand tho it must be hard for emerging channels. Cheers..
QNED86 has LEDs placed along the edges of the screen and they are grouped in zones to be individually controlled. This is inferior to direct LED TVs where LEDs are placed behind the screen and controlled individually. This technology is called FALD or full array local dimming and when LEDs are very small to create higher number of zones then we talk about FALD mini LED TV. Hope this helps!

Hi, great review! Have you tried connecting this TV to a PC? I can't find information if this TV has G-Sync support. Simply put, if you have a video card from Nvidia and you have connected the TV to it, is there an option in the options to enable g-sync support for this TV?

IPS generally has good viewing angles in regard to color saturation, but it has this nasty IPS-glow effect which elevates blacks when sitting close to the screen which negatively affects viewing experience.
It definitely is - I'm currently testing QNED86 and it definitely struggles with both SDR and HDR in dim/dark room. IPS panels have low native contrast and so called IPS glow effect which elevates blacks even more if you sit close or under and angle. QNED86 has a very basic edge LED local dimming which does little to improve the contrast so I would definitely recommend QNED90 or alternative options from other brands.
