This is the first time I've seen 2nd edition played and all the blood lines seem so fun. This has made me think it might be time to update my collection
I'm always excited to see people playing VtR.
Giving this a try now and loving you all so far! I was curious if anyone was streaming a campaign in the CofD setting. So rare with V5 getting the spotlight these days. I love the Masquerade, always will, but man I fell so hard for Requiem and glad to see it getting love 💕

Also, I hate you all for hyping me for Chronicles of Darkness (or World, no idea what’s the difference). I always want to play it, start to learn the system, and then I realize that none of my friends will want to do it, and I’m sad…
World is older. There was World of Darkness, the New World of Darkness, then Chronicles of Darkness.
Short version, it's like different editions of Dungeons and Dragons

@@groupvucic2235 Who does? Very difficult to keep the pace going when you have to do so many rules lookups.
As a Storyteller willing to keep playing WoD from 2004 instead of V5 both offline and live on Twitch/TH-cam. love to find a VtR series that 1) just started and 2) is only played once a month so I can keep the pace with the ongoing episodes!

1:05:00 Chris is right about the vampires being obscured in photos and videos. It’s one of those things that doesn’t have mechanics I think, but it’s always considered on.

in 5e it's a power you can buy (Obfuscate level 3)
You can spend a point or focus or something to turn it off for a scene...

Very interesting campaign. So much so that i picked up your clan books!
Your books have a lot of bloodlines. Do these books effectively replace their 1e counterparts? How do you attain one during play, or can you start with them? Thee 2e rules aren't clear to me.

Grabbed the Nosferatu Clan book after hearing about interesting things for the Candyman bloodline. I definitely like the idea of the Lygos. Might even make one some day.

Everyone has a right to their preferences! I like the themes of Requiem a bit better, particularly against Vampire the Masquerade 5E, but they're both great games. If you're looking for VTM, check out our Victoria By Night series.
@@DorkTales comparing requiem vs V5 is not really fair since almost everyone can agree that V5 is by far the worst edition. Its really best to compare it to revisited or V20. Really what you like more. I dont know much about requiem but from i know i dont like it. My clans that i like are gone and only nosferatu and ventrue are there. That sucks. I want to play as brujah or gangrel. And to be honest the whole covenant dosnt really sound very interesting to me.I feel like that Camarilla anarch and sabbat(not in v5) were much better. But hey thats up to what you like
@@Quirrel The Gangrel are still a clan. You don't seem to know anything about Requiem. How are you going to complain about it? Requiem's mechanics and QoL improvements are a massive upgrade, and it doesn't strangle players or STs by tying defined lore and metaplot around their necks.
