finally!! an artist who understands skin tone and details it properly!! especially being medium skin tone i can be neutral and sometimes warm and cool depending on the season (e.g. summer v winter and vice versa). its so hard to find a foundation that blends in naturally!! i'd also suggest adding tint (e.g. blue concealer) to foundation to warm or cool it (cant remember sorry) but yeah!!
Having a foundation in art surely makes a huge difference in understanding make up. I wear make up sometimes and I use L.a concealer and fit me matte foundation, but now I understand about colour correction and I'll try as I have a bit of dark circles due to rubbing my eyes over the years because of allergies. Thank you so much.
ive noticed that mac cosmetics - in studio fix i would be in NC35-NC40 (depending on season). Then in mac cosmetics studio radiance i would be in nc20!!
So right about light reflecting thing, never heard anyone discuss it before. Will using a foundation with orange undertone eliminte chances of turning grey
Loving the podcasts, the problem I have after applying foundation is that my face looks dull and pale. I'm not sure what to do about this. I will keep listening for tips.
i have dakr undereye circles and i now use mix of peach corrector and orange corrector - orange for the more darker (inner corner of eyes) and the more lighter on the outside part of the eyes (outer v).
Thank you kind sir 😉 love the education! For my complexion I’ve been enjoying a bunch! The new Dior hydra in 4.5N is a water based formula so I’ll keep a look out for oxidation. Otherwise it’s been pretty gorgeous. Concealer wise I bounce around. It’s been between the MAC serum concealer nc30, hourglass in flax, westman atelier t1. But my top is surratt dew drop in 7 and dior forever 4w. Addicted I tell you
Vincent please do one for covering melasma. I'm indian with melasma on both my cheeks. Only a salmon pink color corrector covers but then my foundation over it changes color &/or removes the corrector coverage below😢
As MUA I can say without a doubt that you are the best teacher on YT❤ top❤
