Same with Cyborg as yes Nunes beat her fast but in a legend like Cyborg, and it being so fast she is still a huge draw going into and.before a rematch. And still a huge chance.a.rematch could go either way.
Unlike say Conor and Khabib where it wasnt a fast knockout but a pretty decisive long beatdown, He lost that shimmer in him being a draw by a longer loss.

@michael thomas Amanda wanted to fight Holly, and Cyborg needed to tune up fight before she fought Amanda again. Now that they both won their fights, I see no reason why they shouldn't fight again. They both want it, and it's not like there is anyone else who can challenge Nunes at 145 right now. Megan Anderson got exposed by Holly and Felcia Spencer. Felcia just lost to Cyborg. Holly just lost to Amanda and it doesn't look like she is going to go back to 145 anytime soon. Cat Zingano hasn't been the same since Ronda took her soul. And it doesn't look like GDR is going to go back to 145 anytime soon. There is literally no one else for Nunes to fight 145 besides Cyborg.

I think he does want it because Amanda has been so dominant she's sucking the air out of the women's division and he needs to find someone capable of even challenging Amanda which would be good for the sport and right now it looks like cyborg is his only viable option. Not to mention plenty of people will pay to see it.

No its deeper then that, the ufc priorities the brand more then the fighters, which is a mistake in a industry where without the fighters nothing would matter, until Dana leaves the ufc it will not evolve, there old model of only focusing on a few fighters that bring in ppv is over.

Cyborg is the closest person that could be seen as a threat to Amanda's title reign (the fact that she could be a threat towards Amanda is debatable but nonetheless she is the only person that could gain mainstream attention for Amanda). And even though you could use the excuse of Amanda being the champion but if McGregor returned to UFC and challenged poirier for the title who do you think would get the bigger payday. I'm scared for her. She still fights a bit too aggressive and reckless most of the time. That's just asking to get KOed again against Nunes. Needs to work on boxing and wrestling especially the latter because I think there's where Nunes is weak. I also think Cyborg is losing to father time. Too many brutal weight cuts have caught up to her. Prime Cyborg would've finished Spencer.

Remember, Amanda just needed two punches to make Cris going down. Then she keep on going. But initially with two punches Cris falled to her knees. With Felicia, they exchanged several punches. Fighting that way with Amanda will be letal.
