Agreed, I suggest Maxwell, next to that chicken rice stall theres a stall that has fried oyster "cakes/puffs(?)"

Saw you guys in Starbucks at Plaza Singapura (the shopping mall) when you were in Singapore, but I wasn't sure if i should go in and say hi. I was standing outside and contemplating if i should wait. In the end, i waited for about ten minutes before i left. Now i regret it so much and wish i had walked in to say hello 😅

Years ago I worked with a lady whose family made Chicken Satay and it was so delicious! I may have made a 🐷 of myself. 🤣 I wish I knew how to make it.

There is Maxwell Hawker nearby with the legendary chicken rice. And the Han Kee Fish Soup at Amoy Hawker Centre. Both excellent lunch/dinner options in walking distance of LPS

Philippine beer is absolute crap since 2018. Downgraded so much. Will give you a headache & stomach upset.

Before you go to singapore, you diet 1st for at least 2 weeks. And then you pretty much eat everything you can when you're in s'pore. Once you leave, that's it. Nowhere else will taste the same. I dunno why.
On a side note, satays in s'pore, malaysia, thailand & indonesia do not taste the same. The absolute best balance of flavor & portion & sauce is s'pore. ☺️

Lau Pat Sat is hardly legendary lol.
It is just TH-cam algorithm choice. Just like Maxwell food centre, Tian Tian chicken rice and that world's cheapest Michelin soy chicken noodles.
Absolute hype and a great insult to so many other quality stalls out there.
As a local, i also feel anxiety because people come here thinking that those are the best of SG, which I wanna scream no no no you have not tasted what is good. Singapore is not at that level omg don't go home thinking that's what Singapore has to offer lol

Lau pa sat is a mega hawker place...you can get everything under one roof. I would not say the food is bad..even locals enjoy them. As a local i highly recommend
