@@diegoyubero ahhhh yes thats right. Its shown on the highlights clip. it was a perfectly executed rescue actually. I cannot begin to imagine how exciting it would be to be able to watch the whole race with coverage showing us all this stuff
hey guys. this is a fantastic clip. MORE PLEASE. I do a yachting podcast live on Twitch every morning. Ive been following this latest RC44 event and chatting a lot about how exciting a class the RC44 is. Please please can we have more clips like this? I would LOVE for you guys to do a full race coverage. I believe it would get a lot of interest/views and would be a super way to raise interest in the RC44 class which is surely the most exciting class of keel boat racing on the planet.
Agreed. Badly set up for a ‘professional’ circuit. Even if there is a wind shift they should be able to reposition the wing mark during the windward leg. Certainly there are enough committee boats around.
Awesome, I am watching this mark rounding 5 times now and still find tons of points to analyze in tactics and rules perspective
completely agree. I could watch the whole race 5 times over i think.
In order to understand everything better, you would have to have zoom. Have you noticed that we had a crew member overboard holding on a rope?
Crazy! Just saw it. But it seems that the tack shortly he was back on board was a little too early (and so below the layline).

Agreed some great footage never a full race Tp52 18th footers is fantastic coverage rc44 is missing a trick
What’s wrong with the offset mark? Why was there tacking on a reaching leg?
Wind shift?

@@keithmoorechannel it looks like its MarkSetBot, so no need a committee boat to move it, just command from iPad and mark moves itself.
