      @Janek If your objective is to ultimately end up/work in Japan, then studying in Japan is such a safe and easy way to settle in Japan eventually. If you do your undergrad in your country you need to have at least jlpt N2 and 3-4 years of work experience in your field to get the Japanese employers to even read you resume fully.

    Hi this video is so full of infos that I regret not finding it earlier before applying. I have been required to take japanese and english exam as a research candidate next week!! I dont know how I m gonna pass this japanese test since I can neither read nor write it despite my efforts of learning it through an app for a month🥴.
    My two questions are: 1-is it late to reach out to a professor even after submitting my candidacy and ask them to be my supervisor?
    2) Besides the tuition fees and travel expenses, you did not specify if the scholarship covers living expenses such as housing, food, health insurance ?

    • @Emeand33
      @Emeand33 4 ปีที่แล้ว +9

      In Sweden, they don’t go by your grades but you will have to take an exam (math, English and Japanese). They chose the best out of the examinees and invite them for an interview. Then the best of these people will be chosen. So I assume it’s quite hard to get it.

      Thank you! It's hard to advise you on that since everyone majors in different things. But in general, it should be a topic which is innovative, current and somehow connects Japan and your country.

    Dear Irina, thank you so much for this video! I would like to leave in Oktober 2021 or April 2022. You told us when you arrived at Japan, you had to pass an entrance exam to get enroled in the university. How hard is it to pass this exam? It probably differs from university to university, but I was quite surprised when you told us to try twice or even three times before being able to pass?

    Hmm... I'm in college in America right now going for double major in Computer Engineering and Japanese. The latter requires me to study at Hakuoh University for a year starting the spring of my Junior year. Wonder if I can use this after I graduate here for a masters, would be cool.

    Thank you very much for the entire useful information. I'm really appreciate it, so much. I have a plan to continue my master in Japan, hopefully it will be a real one day. I have a few question.
    1. How about we took a degree with non-international program, do we have to understand english or the Professor will give us a lecture in english? Cause I've knew a Professor there and he's speaking english.
    2. About a research plan for research student, is it necessary? And if we took an embassy track then we may choose 3 different university, as I remember, do we have to make 3 of them or we only need 1?
    Thank you.

    Hello I don't really know it you'll see this comment or reply but I reaaaalyyyyy wanna know that the exact difference between an undergraduate and a research scolarship is. And everywhere else this video was super informative so thanks a ton :)

    • @nishi9mikan
      @nishi9mikan  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Undergraduate scholarship is basically for you to do bachelor studies, whereas a research scholarship is for you to go to Japan, study for entrance exams into a graduate school, and then to do Masters or Phd studies. Hope that makes it clear.

    Hi Irina, I am from Bangladesh. I have completed MS (Dhaka University) course on Urology. If I want to get scholarship (like MEXT) for PhD , may it possible or available for clinical subject. Thanks for your nice presentation.
