Not every white has straight-ish hair ... My aunt is pale and her hair is 4c ... Its not a natural color but she did inherit the hair from her mothers side
GamerEmoGohst Ok 1) comment didn't even mention white people specifically. 2) never said white peoples can't have straight hair 3) Your aunt is fully white w/ 4c hair? The most i'd (barely) believe for a white person is 4a, so I heavily side-eye that but okay, if you insist. 4) my comment was directed at the people who have no curly hair and aren't Black. If you neither of the two fit you, all negative opinions directed are irrelevant. Plus the video is discussing struggles Black women go through so if you aren't Black how can you say what is and what isn't true? Like I said, how can you criticize something you have no experience in? That is my problem. It's like me being a Chef and telling a pilot instructor the instructions they're giving are false even though I have no experience as a pilot.
Friend: let’s go swimming!!! Me who just had my hair blown out: LMAOROFLMAOJDJAPWLOLNO. Friend: let’s go swimming?? Me who finally got their hair braided: sure but I’m not going all the way in. Friend: 😞 Me: 🤨
Omg I can relate the day I get my hair done and straight my friend asks to get in her pool. And I’m like “ omg my hair will poof up really bad but sure”
and the "boo hoo why does this have to be about black girls" and the "why can't this be about me, I'm so used to having everything pertain to me and not being left out when thing are about others i think its a crime" or "i think i can relate because i have thick hair (which is fine and dandy) but i actually can't because i don't have an afro and am not black and the whole point of this is ' things black girls KNOW TOO WELL because they in general deal with it constantly' not 'things only black girls deal with' "
i guess i'm annoyed at these SALTY comments on every video about black girls when i rarely see it on anything else about a specific group. when things are about us in general people get mad, roll their eyes, or feel like they HAVE to say they're not black and they relate or they're not black and they like it or they're not black so its not for us even tho it is. just because its for black girls/people doesn't mean you cant enjoy it or relate to it but don't say its not for us when it clearly is. there are so many things that are made without us in mind that when there are thing specifically for us you get your panties in a twist.
Omg some of y’all are taking this too literally. It’s a skit. Of course she wouldn’t brush her hair dry like that or twist it 🤦🏾♀️. I would hate to know y’all in real life sheesh
Struggles for me that I hate a lot: Everyone thinks I have a perm/relaxer in my hair but I honestly straighten it because my hair is hella sensitive and breaks off at anything. I had braids for less than a month and my hair became a lot thinner. PEOPLE FREAKING OUT BECAUSE I DONT WASH MY HAIR EVERYDAY they say it's gross/greasy but it's not good to wash black hair everyday and I honestly don't have the time or energy
Sakari Lewis: All hair shouldn't be washed everyday... That's why there are so many products out there trying to deal with the damage people cause their hair with all the over washing. And I'm glad you don't use relaxer. That stuff is awful.
Friend: hey lets go out to the mall Me: nah i’m getting my hair done **A week later** Friend: lets go out Me: honey not even a QUARTER of my hair is done! I’mma need like another 2 weeks then we can go out, Mk? Friend: okay.....
I remember when I was younger and I tried to do my own ponytails at 8 😭 I would literally start crying cuz my arms hurt after trying to comb it out and the ponytail wouldn't come out right. I have 4c hair btw
Well even with a relaxer or weave you have to make hair appointments and let's be real majority of salons don't do it and bc of that we either wait all day, or get a style that takes all day. And when that new growth is growing up under that relaxer those combs seem to snap even faster before your next touch up. Washing seems to be the only difference since most black women like their black naturals wrap their hair at night regardless.
I'm a curly head and then with long, small curls. 1 of my biggest irritation and struggeles are the people that ask if they can touch your hair and their hand is already in your hair😑And they start like combing it out and then one side of your hair is normal and the other side is an afro from here to Toykio😭
Non black people always jumping on these videos like "what about white pipo" Buzzfeed makes videos that EVERY race& ethnicity can relate to. They have a side channel called "pero like" specifically about Latino problems. I don't get what the issue is? Oh right anti blackness! 😴
+Kylashaye AJ it wouldn't be racist because white people are the more dominant race ( more whites than minorities in the Us) and buzzfeed has workers all races. 🙃
That's so cool ! I like when people actually say their skin tone and not just , oh I'm "black" or "white". If you are on the pale end then wear sun screen at least !!!! I see a lot of redness in this summer heat
unknow -n like one time in class these two boys were talking about how this girl is "so pale", then one of them said, " is she as pale as Mila?", and the other one said, "pfft, no, no one is as pale as Mila". and I was like, I'm right here.
When i started make up. It was so fustrating. They have a million and one colors for every shade of white person but like three for black. And they dont even fit me well. Personally. Im inbetween two shades. So i take the lighter one and ppl say it looks too light and i pick the darker one and ppl say its too dark. Ive had this problem in more than one brands btw
I have olive-tan skin. Sort of yellowish tan. Literally every make up product makes me look like an orange. Sorry, but I'd rather look yellow and sick then look like an orange walking out of a fake tan salon.
Rahima Williams I hate having to fingers my color. I got concealer and the color was too white to be blended. Also, I have different shades on different parts of my face. If I want to put concealer on my chin, I have to blend it out like crazy because my chin is darker
They have millions of shades for white pll but still I can't seem to find one that doesn't make me look it orange and if it doesn't, always costs a fortune. #paleaf
I am like, see through. But you can usually mix some white theater make-up and make your own shade. Daysha... well, she's stuck with the ashy look unless she goes high end and EVEN THEN. Also the 'nude' clothing thing bugged me. More beige.
the one @ 0:41 made me cringe sooo much. Everyone with natural hair knows you dont brush your hair...you use a wide tooth comb...get a small section of hair and comb starting from the bottom of the hair
+MISS HOLA I brush my hair! I have 2a and 2b curls. All you need is something to damp your hair if your curls are like mine. I love her afro btw IT IS AMAZING
I love that some of these didn't even need any kind of caption. "Nude bra." "Nude lipstick." "Foundation shade." The struggle is real...not for me. But I feel for y'all.
Foundation as dark as my skin is so expensive, same with dark dark lipstick. I can't just go and pick any lipstick color I want like a person with lighter skin could or else my lips would look ashy
lmaooo..when she packed fir the hair salon...one time i forgot bring my charger and IT WAS THE WORST..i had to sit for the remaining 2 out of the 4 hours (of getting box braids) without a phone
omg you guys have a lot of struggles and still go through them like a boss and manage to keep the humor and smile on your faces. You're legit one of the best people out there because you don't hate anyone and you're always respectful. stay strong girls you got it
When she started packing her bag I started dying 😭😭😭 I do the same thing when I get my hair done & don't forget food or u will have to buy salon food which cost more
+Graphic Design Guy A lot of natural are curly haired like myself they just didn't depict them but its the same problem especially if you have coarser thick curly hair like a lot of us black people do. our hair ranges anywhere from 4z to 1a a wide variety pretty much
IfYouReadThisUsernameYouSmellLikeAButt Oh, when I said Curly, I meant the guy called Curly from BuzzFeed, but I can understand you definitely having the problem too with the hair =/
I’m not black but watching this video and it being old makes me so happy for seeing how far we’ve came in the beauty industry and there being more available for people. Hella respect for you guys man and the amount you all do!!❤️
Tiffany Lane see my skin is light but I’m actually mixed. I don’t have a skin ton issue but it shows in my hair that I’m mixed. So like I get washed day. Literally takes hours just to wash and dry my hair.
WHO puts a paddle brush in an afro😑😯. I get the point you're trying to make - we break combs. However, if that is how you detangle your hair the brush deserves to be broken. Damn...
I have thick long hair and my hair type is 4a spiral loose kinks curls and my baby hairs are straight so I can’t use no wide tooth comb I have to use a large paddle brush to make my hair run through my fingers , why I mentioned that I have spiral curls is that the curls get bunch up together and get tangled .

Friend: let’s go swimming!!!
Me who just had my hair blown out: LMAOROFLMAOJDJAPWLOLNO.
Friend: let’s go swimming??
Me who finally got their hair braided: sure but I’m not going all the way in.
Friend: 😞
Me: 🤨
Omg I can relate the day I get my hair done and straight my friend asks to get in her pool. And I’m like “ omg my hair will poof up really bad but sure”
Now she knows you can't try to comb through natural hair dry lol. #disaster
+Dymond Kitty IKR. Where was her spritz bottle? Her leave-in conditioner? Natural oils? Wide tooth comb? Psh. Rookie
+J. Hypolite Not to mention she started in the middle. Hasn't she heard of ends to roots??
katleidoscopic lmao!!!! True. It's like she's trying to make herself bald. lol
J. Hypolite LMAO!!
Word lol
There's always that one person who's gonna say this is racist
oh lord here come the "I'm not black and i have these problems!!!!1!1!!!!!11!11!1"
and the "boo hoo why does this have to be about black girls" and the "why can't this be about me, I'm so used to having everything pertain to me and not being left out when thing are about others i think its a crime" or "i think i can relate because i have thick hair (which is fine and dandy) but i actually can't because i don't have an afro and am not black and the whole point of this is ' things black girls KNOW TOO WELL because they in general deal with it constantly' not 'things only black girls deal with' "
Will you pass the salt ?
+shannon Bear No she doesn't need to cause its already in your hand.
Owanari Ojuka why do you even care , that person is definatly salty
i guess i'm annoyed at these SALTY comments on every video about black girls when i rarely see it on anything else about a specific group. when things are about us in general people get mad, roll their eyes, or feel like they HAVE to say they're not black and they relate or they're not black and they like it or they're not black so its not for us even tho it is. just because its for black girls/people doesn't mean you cant enjoy it or relate to it but don't say its not for us when it clearly is. there are so many things that are made without us in mind that when there are thing specifically for us you get your panties in a twist.
I had no idea black women had this struggle. Y’all look gorgeous 24/7 with your natural curls and coils.😍
Don't worry we have a bunch of more things we struggle with, but I do appreciate it, so thanks!!! UwU
Thank you
I HATE wash day but I LOVE deep conditioning. The struggle 😭😭😭
Salma Hafsa I hate having to dry my hair
"Have you ever see a black women in real life?" 😅😅😅😅😘
Mish Griffin ikr 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Black women are so beautiful. I wish our society didn't make things so hard for them.
me too
+ItsJustJazzy He's a troll. Not even worth the time.
+Nina amen
Thank you 😘😇
+Kiera F lmao
Omg some of y’all are taking this too literally. It’s a skit. Of course she wouldn’t brush her hair dry like that or twist it 🤦🏾♀️. I would hate to know y’all in real life sheesh
Well damn...
I'm a guy and didn't realize I was a black woman until now.
Are you talking about your hair?
🤣🤣
Gilberto Del Pollo LmAo
hahahah🤣🤣
#FunniestThingEver
Struggles for me that I hate a lot:
Everyone thinks I have a perm/relaxer in my hair but I honestly straighten it because my hair is hella sensitive and breaks off at anything. I had braids for less than a month and my hair became a lot thinner.
PEOPLE FREAKING OUT BECAUSE I DONT WASH MY HAIR EVERYDAY they say it's gross/greasy but it's not good to wash black hair everyday and I honestly don't have the time or energy
Sakari Lewis:
All hair shouldn't be washed everyday... That's why there are so many products out there trying to deal with the damage people cause their hair with all the over washing.
And I'm glad you don't use relaxer. That stuff is awful.
“White hair” shouldn’t be washed every day either. I don’t know anyone who does that or would complain because someone doesn’t do it.
When people ask you if your bald underneath your braids. Ughh. Did I plait them into air???
+The Perks Of Being A Bookworm that always used ro happen to me now i hate getting my hair braided
+The Perks Of Being A Bookworm tru someone asked me that today even though my hair is to my armpit usually
Friend: hey lets go out to the mall
Me: nah i’m getting my hair done
**A week later**
Friend: lets go out
Me: honey not even a QUARTER of my hair is done! I’mma need like another 2 weeks then we can go out, Mk?
Friend: okay.....
ITS SO TRUE GIRL!!
*the struggle is real*
I can't even come my hair all the way because my Arms hurt so much!!
I remember when I was younger and I tried to do my own ponytails at 8 😭 I would literally start crying cuz my arms hurt after trying to comb it out and the ponytail wouldn't come out right. I have 4c hair btw
Vikki L I’m 13 and I still can’t do my own hair. It’s so hard to maintain my hair and half the time I wear it in braids so I don’t have to do it.
Autumn SKYE I keep it in braids a lot too, it’s so much easier.
@@autumn591 I'm 11 and my mom still has to do it because my hair is a type that you have NEVER heard of.
Autumn Thomas oh honey I'm in my 20's and I still can't lmao, I just pack my two day bag for the hair salon when I can afford it and say my prayers
This should had been called struggle for black girls with natural hair
TRRUUUUUEE
Well even with a relaxer or weave you have to make hair appointments and let's be real majority of salons don't do it and bc of that we either wait all day, or get a style that takes all day. And when that new growth is growing up under that relaxer those combs seem to snap even faster before your next touch up. Washing seems to be the only difference since most black women like their black naturals wrap their hair at night regardless.
+Xavi well I wouldn't know about the weave but thanks for informing me and luckily for me I be at the hair salon for about 2-3 hours
yep
extremely accurate
when looking for a hair salon skip the Bs and yelp African braiding salon if find a salon and it's in a white city it's not for black hair
Trruuuueee
+Star cause it's just that easy...
Haha I actually live in a place called 'white city'
+Star -.-
I'm a curly head and then with long, small curls. 1 of my biggest irritation and struggeles are the people that ask if they can touch your hair and their hand is already in your hair😑And they start like combing it out and then one side of your hair is normal and the other side is an afro from here to Toykio😭
xb1polar _bearx *Tokyo is that what you meant?
The one thing I dont understand is that people trow shade at our hair but still wanna touch it
true true true true true true and also true
Say it louder for the people in the back.
Non black people always jumping on these videos like "what about white pipo" Buzzfeed makes videos that EVERY race& ethnicity can relate to. They have a side channel called "pero like" specifically about Latino problems. I don't get what the issue is? Oh right anti blackness! 😴
PRAISE
they've actually never made a video called "things white people understand" obviously that would be racist.. Lol
+Kylashaye AJ ikr
yes 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
+Kylashaye AJ it wouldn't be racist because white people are the more dominant race ( more whites than minorities in the Us) and buzzfeed has workers all races. 🙃
Omg, the one with the foundations is soooo relatable, I know I'm not black but I'm as pale as a vampire and everything is too dark😂😂
That's so cool ! I like when people actually say their skin tone and not just , oh I'm "black" or "white". If you are on the pale end then wear sun screen at least !!!! I see a lot of redness in this summer heat
Ha, exactly what i was thinking. basically everyone is meant to be some shade of beige and that's it.
Same
unknow -n lol same tho
unknow -n like one time in class these two boys were talking about how this girl is "so pale", then one of them said, " is she as pale as Mila?", and the other one said, "pfft, no, no one is as pale as Mila". and I was like, I'm right here.
Why am I even watching this I am not even black?! But massive respect for y'all! ✔️✔️
When i started make up. It was so fustrating. They have a million and one colors for every shade of white person but like three for black. And they dont even fit me well. Personally. Im inbetween two shades. So i take the lighter one and ppl say it looks too light and i pick the darker one and ppl say its too dark. Ive had this problem in more than one brands btw
you should mix both of them together, to find ur perfect shade, and I feel ur struggle man
I have olive-tan skin.
Thank god for Fenty
They have millions of shades for white pll but still I can't seem to find one that doesn't make me look it orange and if it doesn't, always costs a fortune. #paleaf
one other struggle is when you find the streanth to flat iron your hair and you look outside and its raining 😟😟😞 #thestruggleisreal
omg yasss so me
The story of my life😂😂 this is why I don't really flatiron my hair
Or when it’s wind outside and u have to rap your hair up so it won’t get frezzy🤬🙄😂 (ik my spelling is rlly bad😅)
One time i went outside with a afro then its start raining my hairtype is 4b it started shrinking
I'm looking outside like "That's a lot of shrinkage".
Feel the rage for the foundation shades, or lack of. Dammit, not all people are beige.
+Kylie B ikr
+Kylie B I' can't find a foundation that matches my skin tone because I'm too white :'(
I am like, see through. But you can usually mix some white theater make-up and make your own shade. Daysha... well, she's stuck with the ashy look unless she goes high end and EVEN THEN. Also the 'nude' clothing thing bugged me. More beige.
+Unibrowpopcorn same here! it's insane
Go to black opal. They have affordable makeup for women of color 🙌🏾
Too Many Struggles!!!! Praise!!!! I love when black women speak the truth!!!!
the last part is soooo true hair appointments take all day you gotta be prepared to entertain yourself LOL
the one @ 0:41 made me cringe sooo much. Everyone with natural hair knows you dont brush your hair...you use a wide tooth comb...get a small section of hair and comb starting from the bottom of the hair
0:43
DUDE IKR! I WAS SO CONFUSED. Her hair would break off so quick
RIGHT. I was just like girl you're gonna learn that don't work real quick
+MISS HOLA I brush my hair! I have 2a and 2b curls. All you need is something to damp your hair if your curls are like mine. I love her afro btw IT IS AMAZING
+MISS HOLA ***3a/3b XD I don't have waves
I love that some of these didn't even need any kind of caption. "Nude bra." "Nude lipstick." "Foundation shade." The struggle is real...not for me. But I feel for y'all.
1:32 I’ve never felt something so strongly in my life 😂
No joke I have every single product on that bathroom counter at 0:40
bruh!!! when she packed the bag😂😂 $20 extra for 4c I'm dead😂😂
THAT LAST ONE THOUGH IS SO TRUE OMFG!
+Aunesty Jones i know right lol i bring a laptop and dvds and everything LOL
Victoria P SAME
+Aunesty Jones yass whenever i do my hair i carry everything with me, like i'm moving!!
Aaliy Adams Four words: GETTING. YOUR. HAIR. BRAIDED.
Aunesty Jones i know the struggle far too well girl...:)
Thé shortest amount of time I’ve been in the shower is 30 minutes to an hour
It it was less then it’s a miracle
For me it was about 30 seconds
This is a joke
The last one was the most relatable 😂
right 😂
i literally thought this was my comment till i saw the username
The girl said she had 4c hair when she actually had either 3c or 4a hair. AM I THE ONLY ONE WHO NOTICED??
John's Hair Gel lmao thank you 💀
Yeah it was 3c
She probably had a twist/braid out or weave.
Girl that’s weave come on now.
That’s a weave!!
Foundation as dark as my skin is so expensive, same with dark dark lipstick. I can't just go and pick any lipstick color I want like a person with lighter skin could or else my lips would look ashy
Girl u dont need makeup your profile pic is gorgeous
You are so beautiful my darksinned queen
sameee sis
You dont need it you are beautiful, but that is so true the makeup industry acts like only light skinned or tan skinned wear makeup like smh.
You’re so pretty
“are you going on a trip?”
“no i’m going to get my hair done”
😂
You guys are forgetting how ashy our legs/arms can be if we don't cream them!
No they included that. The lady with he blond afro scratched herself earlier in the video and became ashy
lmaooo..when she packed fir the hair salon...one time i forgot bring my charger and IT WAS THE WORST..i had to sit for the remaining 2 out of the 4 hours (of getting box braids) without a phone
Only four hours? I want to go where you go! My last senegalese twit install took 10!
I go to harlem ..where they got two people braiding my hair at they same time and theyre really quick
where are you going because my lady only takes 3 1/2 hours and its a blessing
When I get my box braids it takes 6 hours plus
It takes six for me
omg you guys have a lot of struggles and still go through them like a boss and manage to keep the humor and smile on your faces. You're legit one of the best people out there because you don't hate anyone and you're always respectful. stay strong girls you got it
OK this is a TH-cam clip garned to attract views please do not think it is the reality of every black girl and woman.
Candy Chan lol true
Yes, thank you
I know and thank you 😄
@Candy Chan 😂😂😂
The cream with the pinkish top is great! It untangles nappy hair and makes it easy to comb
When she started packing her bag I started dying 😭😭😭 I do the same thing when I get my hair done & don't forget food or u will have to buy salon food which cost more
+Courtney Hicks i had dominos deliver to the salon when i got my box braids done.
I don't wear makeup and I don't have 'natural' hair but the scratching is toooooo relatable for me
Marcella Crespo
Ikr😂 I hate it when I get ashy asfter scratching
You forgot that us black people can't fit shower caps and swimming caps over our hair
Dooky ikr
Unless you braid it
Yeah totally relatable
Dooky yesss I can only do it if it’s braided
Simone Manuel proves it wrong
But you know what, it's worth the struggle when you're such beautiful people
+Karim El-houssami aaaaawwwwwwwww! :D x
Omg thanks so much! That's so cute
Thank you 😊
We need more people like you in this universe :D
0:45 work👏with👏damped👏hair👏 *AND WIDE TOOTH COMBS WEREN'T CREATED FOR NOTHING*
I bet *Curly* experiences some of those hair problems too XD
+Graphic Design Guy A lot of natural are curly haired like myself they just didn't depict them but its the same problem especially if you have coarser thick curly hair like a lot of us black people do. our hair ranges anywhere from 4z to 1a a wide variety pretty much
IfYouReadThisUsernameYouSmellLikeAButt Oh, when I said Curly, I meant the guy called Curly from BuzzFeed, but I can understand you definitely having the problem too with the hair =/
Graphic Design Guy Ohhh lol sowwy
IfYouReadThisUsernameYouSmellLikeAButt That's okay, no worries, someone else made that misunderstanding too so it's probably more my problem. haha.
Graphic Design Guy Aww i love how smooth this situation went if only all of youtube and the world could handle run ins like this.
Who would brush her hair tho??
Thats what I'm saying. And DEF not root to tip...
+Skyler Wyatt fr doing root to tip will damn there rip your hair from your scalp
+Skyler Wyatt not gonna lie I used to do that.root to tip.on DRY hair. every combing session was a battle lol
I just got box braids done and I think my skull is fractured
my head is actually throbbing
Me when I come out the salon: I have seen horrors unimaginable
Ooh girl 😭 I feel for you
The first night is a nightmare
I feel you and sometimes I wanna take it out but my momma gonna woop me and add to the pain
I’m not black but watching this video and it being old makes me so happy for seeing how far we’ve came in the beauty industry and there being more available for people. Hella respect for you guys man and the amount you all do!!❤️
LOL all the white girls on here being like LOL SAME. Stop.
Damn...
Edrieënna Brandao i use a paddle brush but i wet my hair first
I have thick long hair and my hair type is 4a spiral loose kinks curls and my baby hairs are straight so I can’t use no wide tooth comb I have to use a large paddle brush to make my hair run through my fingers , why I mentioned that I have spiral curls is that the curls get bunch up together and get tangled .
Ps those straight baby hairs are virgin hair .
I use one (I don’t have a weave anymore it’s all natural now) and it works quite well til it breaks 😂😂
When I have braids and my white friend says oh I'm getting those and comes back with two French braids....😤🙄
+sing_cook_dance French braids and braids for black girls are different things
Reese Saddler they still are considered braids...
Kookie and suga in my tae When a black girl says she's getting braids, 99% that's not what she means...
I’m glad I don’t have to go through this. Love to all of you beautiful, strong women that endure this every day!
