I've always had ATF DEX 3, M54 (Z3). Changed all pipes and housing last year...next service il run CHF

I wish BMW would just use one power steering Fluid instead of using both ATF and CHF depending on the year and model

How you bleed the system? Is it self bleed as you full lock the steering?

How's it going man? Was looking to get some advice. I recently went to get my 2011 BMW 328i looked at for a rough idle at around 1500-2000 rpms. They updated the transmission software but that did not workout. Now they tell me that there is an internal fault in the tranny and I will need a new one. I asked them if it could be rebuilt but they did not give me an answer. I was doing some research and saw that the torque converter could have gone bad. Any thoughts?

Yeah I don’t have people come to me I’m afraid sorry about that. That’s one of the reasons I have a recovery truck to take the cars away and bring them to me that’s not a issue isle of weight i have a driver who can come there.
