Dorcas Meadowes I know what evolution is and roughly how it works. I have no idea what I meant with that back then hahahaha. It was probably something related to how he evolved as a singer over the years, but I'm not sure.
Bruce is a very mentally strong, and mentally healthy guy....His attitude toward his cancer is inspiring....He actually cared about his fans enough to not let them know that he's very sick as to not cause them concern, and worry....A truly humble man....Would love to meet the guy...Saw them Wednesday April, 6, 2016 in Chicago...Book of Souls Tour, and it was fantastic.....Thanks for coming to Chicago Guys....!
hearing bruce talk about protecting the fans from the bad news really shows how much he cares ... I had the same feelings and emotions when i was struggling to tell my kids that I was diagnosed with cancer. Nice to see a living legend that still has a soul .
Because he is a dirty, stinking, uneducated, hippie with no manners who will never accomplish anything like, say a good English airline pilot... he should get a day job!
I really think Gruhamed is a very good interviewer, who really shows his love for his job, wich let artist naturally open up. Even with the darker subjects. For the viewer (us) it's great and intriguing to watch.
Same here im not a fan either but i respect the guy for coming out with this and telling fans not to worry i hope he will be ok and in remission he got the treatment in time. Huge respect to him
I am so impressed with this young man. Brilliant and empathetic. I love how real this exchange was. He put Bruce at total ease. It may help that this lad is Bruce's sons age range. Bruce had the ease of a father a little bit, in my humble opinion.
Well I think I speak for everyone when I say thank God cancer was unsuccessful in taking this brilliant musician after unfortunately taking David Bowie. Having personally witnessed the devastating effects of cancer on good people I can say we need to keep fighting it, we've already made so much progress against it, I look forward to the day we can say no one else ever has to go through this horrible illness. On that note, listen to their last album and remind yourself, the singer had throat cancer when he did that, and you will have a new respect for that man; it's generally unbelievable the dedication he has.
*throws something on Manson during doncert*: Come here..... GET OUT OF MY STAGE YOU FUCKING PUSSY! *throws something on Bieber during concert*: ouch, that hurts :)
this guy has to be the best interviewer all time, pretty much everytime I get annoyed by interviewers but with this guy he is not annoying at all I actually like this guy alot.
This is a huge relief because if Bruce were not to have recovered I think things are bad enough for me I would have thought of "Following" him. I've had nightmare after nightmare about losing him and it was only in my subconscious that I could tell how bad it would effect me. He's a gentleman. He's not an arrogant rock star. Bruce Dickinson is unique. I learned my lesson with Michael Jackson that I had thought he'd never die and then all of a sudden he's dead and I went out of my mind. You cannot expect somebody just because they are famous that you can ignore them, cast them aside, and think they'll live forever. I am so relieved about Bruce! Let's hope for no more health problems!
Benjamin Blake Mitchner. Ben, please don't even say that You would follow Bruce if he had died. Suicide is a mortal sin and you will only end up in hell. Please make sure You stay talking with people. If You don't Pray, Start!. I will include You in my Prayers. GOD Bless You Ben, I know You'll be ok.
Wow, I respect that so much! 6 freaking weeks with the thought you might have cancer... You’re such a strong person Bruce! Hell you’re freaking amazing! All my love and support🤘🏼❤️
Bruce's cancer incident effected a lot of people in the metal community. Bruce is such a living legend, and words would never be strong enough to describe if cancer claimed Bruce. Everyone wanted Bruce to pull through with it, and it was a breath of fresh air when Bruce was given the all clear. Even Paul Diannio, who has mocked both Bruce and Iron Maiden as a whole, wished Bruce a safe recovery.
To Bruce Dickinson I hope you get better. I've always been an iron maiden fan. I love singing y'alls songs and playing y'alls on my guitar. Iron maiden music always influenced me. So I hope that god himself puts his healing hand on you Bruce! And may iron maiden music live on.
The interviewer just does his job like he should. I think he's awesome but also lucky to talk with people like Bruce Dickinson,David Draiman,Kerry King,Kory Taylor etc. Keep up the good work
After the surgery the way he speaks is definitely different - Even the shape of his mouth. Bloke's been through a hell of a lot and is still able to do more in a week than I've done in my entire life.
In 1982, with the charts full of poofy synth duos, Bruce did that massive scream in Number of the Beast and life has never been the same - played guitar for 33 years and had a great time. I have a lump in my face, now he's making me get that checked out - bruce saves the day again, I hope...
Bruce is really an inspiration. You get a glimpse on the what if factor that is very personal. Had something comparable to that and I know how he felt. He really makes a connection with people
What a fucking GREAT guy! Legitimately thinks about how long the FANS will be worried when HE'S got the cancer in his throat! Class act, great interview.
Bruce Dickinson is one of the greatest role models in heavy metal. One of the greatest frontman ever, great voice I mean he was back n forth threw out the entire show.
I found myself smiling while watching this video. Both guys try to make the other one feel comfortable but still they speak honestly about things that are hard to speak of.
IVAN3DX 'the pain' he also suspected that the cancer was there; 'lump on neck' it's a tad obvious something's wrong, he put off the check up until after the recording.
what a fantastic, amazind and awesome person. total respect for a magnificent gentleman king. your legend will lives on even the eternity should fail. thanks to exist. i saw them las july the 22th in milano and it was fantastic. up the irons all the life.
Yes sir, we think we are invincible, man you lived a loud and overly large life on stage for us Now we need to understand that we are all human and need to think about ourselves. We need to look forward to the next level of life.. Family and adventure and love. Just live with love and be free and happy......
great interview, some really intelligent questions - not just the usual standard lines. and bruce is an inspiration - having read his autobiography, i would recommend it for anyone who may be down or even just a bit stuck in their life for whatever reason. his whole life has never been about 'poor me', if things are bad he always said 'well, how can i make this better?' and just did it. but never in an arrogant, entitled way - he just had that amazingly positive attitude. no wonder he does corporate speaking tours but even then, he's not a wanker about it he just says what he thinks in a commonsense way
Liam Hughes I can agree to that - sounds the same as every other time I've seen them. He can still sing all of the songs just as well, but things like Aces High can be a bit of a strain if he's doing them live - it still sounds amazing, though.
Bruce’s Radiotherapy (x-ray) knocks out the salivary glands useful for lubricating the voice, and you need years to recover from these glands getting a bit fried.
Maybe the biggest surviving entertaining metal superstar frontman is perhaps also the most engaging, humble, non-pretentious, friendliest of them all. He's like the free spirited, interesting, renaissance-man, rich uncle we all wish we had.
I love how he did the interview but personally i would have asked a couple questions differently and asked other questions but other than that another great interview very informative good job
I’ve been having issues swallowing and a bit swollen on the right side of my throat...I have a bad tooth right above it and think, hope it’s from that. Wish I could talk to Bruce about it
my comment was deleted? didn't say anything wrong. Just said it's a great interview and would be cool if you guys used a black backgroud instead of a white one. Better contrast and not like everyone else on TH-cam. Anyway, keep rocking Bruce!!! Cheers
Bruce was more worried about fans freaking out than his own recovery. very few artists remain like you Sir. World class gentleman.
+Ricardo Marambio This guy is a living example of an ideal human being. If people were more like him, the world would be a much much better place...
+necroplastful I love your comment. Agreed. Cheers.
+necroplastful No, he's the living example of evolution.
+IVAN3DX That's not exactly how evolution works, but yeah, love Bruce.
Dorcas Meadowes I know what evolution is and roughly how it works. I have no idea what I meant with that back then hahahaha. It was probably something related to how he evolved as a singer over the years, but I'm not sure.
I like how the interviewer actually lets the artist talk.
Bruce is a very mentally strong, and mentally healthy guy....His attitude toward his cancer is inspiring....He actually cared about his fans enough to not let them know that he's very sick as to not cause them concern, and worry....A truly humble man....Would love to meet the guy...Saw them Wednesday April, 6, 2016 in Chicago...Book of Souls Tour, and it was fantastic.....Thanks for coming to Chicago Guys....!
meet him back in 2007 at Air Atlantique and it just reconfirmed to me that he was and still is my biggest idol
hearing bruce talk about protecting the fans from the bad news really shows how much he cares ... I had the same feelings and emotions when i was struggling to tell my kids that I was diagnosed with cancer. Nice to see a living legend that still has a soul .
Been a while but im curious how are you now? Prayers
How is Bruce Dickinson not Sir Bruce Dickinson, yet?
Because he is a dirty, stinking, uneducated, hippie with no manners who will never accomplish anything like, say a good English airline pilot... he should get a day job!
@@rjonboy7608 lol... I hope this is just a joke. If not... get a life, dude
This dude was like "I probably have cancer, but this album needs to get finished first."
That's manly as FUCK.
Dan Silvia no.thats stupid as fuck, can u compare a music album with a person life?
I really think Gruhamed is a very good interviewer, who really shows his love for his job, wich let artist naturally open up. Even with the darker subjects. For the viewer (us) it's great and intriguing to watch.
+John van Hoeijen Thank you, everybody. It was my honor - G
+Loudwire yah dude forget the haters you do a great job
+Loudwire The BEST interview of Bruce I have ever seen in 30 years of fandom with Iron Maiden. Bravo
+John van Hoeijen He does have the dream job of most metalheads after all.
+Loudwire You respect them, and every interview is so calm and informative.
Best frontman ever. And of the nicest human beings. Long live Bruce! Up the Irons!
HE IS THE BEST IN EVERYTHING HE DOES!! GOD BLESS HIM! 🙏
i love you bruce❤️
I'm so glad he survived.
me too
not only survived. he is still the best vocalist in the world!!
Never been a huge Maiden fan but I have tremendous respect for this guy. Love you Bruce! The true essence of metal right here, folks.
Same here im not a fan either but i respect the guy for coming out with this and telling fans not to worry i hope he will be ok and in remission he got the treatment in time. Huge respect to him

- Bruce Dickinson, 2015
We love u Bruce. MAIDEN FOREVER!
Bruce Dickinson, what a legend!
Who the hell would dislike this?
an amazing person , really down to Earth
I am so impressed with this young man. Brilliant and empathetic. I love how real this exchange was. He put Bruce at total ease. It may help that this lad is Bruce's sons age range. Bruce had the ease of a father a little bit, in my humble opinion.
Ken Willis, what young man? Because Bruce isn't young.
i think he was talking about the interviewer
Shaman Eddie Bruce isn't old either.
I love you, Bruce. So glad you survived the cancer beast.
Corinne Escobar me too because without Bruce was world very sad.
Well I think I speak for everyone when I say thank God cancer was unsuccessful in taking this brilliant musician after unfortunately taking David Bowie. +Anthony Gretton In fairness, you've only beaten cancer when you die of something else.
"Bruce you have cancer": "meh..."
"Justin you have a slight cold": "sorry guys I'm going home"
Metal>pop forever.
*throws something on Manson during doncert*: Come here..... GET OUT OF MY STAGE YOU FUCKING PUSSY!

Justin Bieber is a slimy muskrat cunt fuckwad
Bruce Dickinson is a motherfucking cancer killing plane flying metal belting god

As a musician with cancer, you are an inspiration and hope!
How are you doing today?
Wow, I respect that so much! 6 freaking weeks with the thought you might have cancer... You’re such a strong person Bruce! Hell you’re freaking amazing! All my love and support🤘🏼❤️
All the best to you Bruce, you're easily one of my favorite Iron Maiden singers
Bruce's cancer incident effected a lot of people in the metal community. Bruce is such a living legend, and words would never be strong enough to describe if cancer claimed Bruce.

Id kill to be in his shoes. So happy I get to live my dream of hearing the thoughts and emotions of my favourite rockstars through Gru

One of my countries true greatest men. Proud to be a maiden fan and I admire Dickinson's talent, integrity and humilty. Such a fucking legend

Among the most respected artists ever! Music world without you, Bruce, would be a hell.
"You can't kill the Metal" - Jack Black, Tenacious D.

+Aaron McBryer Yeah...well....At least metal itself won't die.
FistKitso Oh, yeah, of course, metal is eternal.
+FistKitso he lives in our hearts!
+gabattaz1 he lives in our sacred hearts
sorry i had to
The way Bruce described his erstwhile facial hair, I thought he was gonna reference his countryman and fellow rocker Lemmy.
Hehe That's funny..
+Harrison Myers Lol... I was thinking the same thing!
+Harrison Myers 3 weeks latter... Lemmy died.
+Harrison Myers That was before Lemmy dies...
What a fucking GREAT guy! Legitimately thinks about how long the FANS will be worried when HE'S got the cancer in his throat! Class act, great interview.

Bruce is a fish and James is a table. Welcome to metal
Cerberus, lol, memes in a nutshell.
#metalfishandtable
Thank you Bruce!
Best health to you Mr. Bruce
I shared the same feelings with Bruce. I had a cancer in 2010 and my first reaction was: "Do I want to know it... now?"
The pain of cancer may have made Bruce more creative in the recent album.
+PazzaTV He says at the beginning that the cancer was detected near the end of the recording.
IVAN3DX 'the pain' he also suspected that the cancer was there; 'lump on neck' it's a tad obvious something's wrong, he put off the check up until after the recording.
just seeing you on tour makes my day...
I love this guy, every time I watch any interview with him I find out some new facts.
Glad to see Bruce is doing okay! Great interview!
