I have the early version of the i7 Pro, same exact color as yours. Mine did not come with turn signals or an electric horn. That would have been nice. I have had the opportunity to own several e-bikes over the last 3 years. The i7 Pro is a very good bike. I'm impressed with the power this bike has. I'm also impressed on how comfortable this bike is to ride, I have a sun tour seat suspension post and a cloud 9 seat, and it is an absolute dream to ride. I did have a minor issue with mine in the beginning, but their customer service was absolutely great! got me all fixed up. The only thing you have to watch for on this bike, is when you are pedaling and go around a turn and you get that pedal on a downstroke it will rub the ground while you were leaning into a turn. But I don't mind that at all, because it gives me proper leg extension from the seat to the pedals to the handlebars. I paid quite a bit more for mine when it first came out. I noticed the Black Friday sales were very good on this bike, along with other e-bikes as well. I feel this is one of those bikes that if you buy it you can't go wrong with it. It is versatile in many ways.
@@timrdude I already had a cloud 9 seat and a sun tour seat suspension post. And I put that setup on any ebike that I ride. It is a very comfortable setup on a bike that does not have rear suspension. It is even better with a bike that does have rear suspension. Anytime I would purchase a different e-bike I would make sure I would have the proper size shim to make this fit. Extremely comfortable.
Nice review. My i7 Pro will be here in a couple days. I’ve looked at all folding bikes on the market. Compared everything. This IS the BEST folding Ebike money can buy.
I agree! I started looking into the 20” E-Bikes a couple of weeks ago and had two bikes that really piqued my interest. The Engwe Engine Pro and the Tesko Hummer. Then this bike popped up a few days ago, and I this is what I am going to get. The 180mm disc brakes and turn signals, as well as good customer service for not much more than the other two brands mentioned above cemented the decision to buy this bike. I currently have a 4 year old Ancheer 26” 250 watt full suspension E Bike, but need the extra power for two hills on my commute to and from work.
You know that was a really good video and I believe it to be a really good bike I've got one on the way myself but I'm just kind of wondering about the pedal assist it how to adjust them I hope it comes in the manual cuz you can do like a 125 or just 3 or I think there's different ways you can adjust that if they give you the directions on how to do it in the display
I would give this a 9/10. The seat needs to be replaced. No mention of how well the hydraulic brakes worked. Some brand name components, some no-name components. Even with the brand name components getting parts, after a few years, is difficult since they keep changing the designs slightly and only carry enough spares to keep things legal (i.e. the 7 year regulation).
The Heybike looks awesome. I would have to give it a test ride to choose. But..with my experience with Heybike (the older model)...it doesn't have as many advanced options as the Viitlian i7. It also took longer to get to it's maximum speed.
Thanks for the thorough review. I noticed the chain came off when unfolding the bike. Why did that happen and does it happen often? How many total miles do u average on 1 charge whether pedaling or not? Have u had any issues at all since filming it and has customer service been ok? TIA
The chain falling off out of the box is pretty normal. I have not had any issue with the chain falling off during riding or any other time. But..I always recommend to take your bike to a bike show before you ride. I usually ride 20 miles (and had 75% percent or so power when I return...but that's with me using pedal assist. Maybe I will do a throttle only range test video on this bike. No issue with the bike so far. As of right now..this is my still my favorite folding e-bike. The only thing to look out for is that the pedal are a little low to the floor...so is you are seriously leaning you would need to make sure that your pedals are parallel. I only like to seriously lean when I am playing around and doing tricks.
@@HeroesNStuff I was on the fence about this E-bike but your review gave me the nudge that I needed to pull the purchase trigger. 👍 I used your link but the coupon code isn't working. 🤔

This is a great review. I would love to see how it handles a longer up hill ride.. and really how long does the battery last on average. How many charges does a person get? Would you know.. we are regular bikers.. but considering these ebikes for commuting.. Thank you!
I lose about 8 MPH on a 35 degree hill. On my average bike ride (about 20 miles...on different PA modes..average about 20 MPH) I usually lose about 25% of battery life.
I really like your review. The only thing I don't like is that you can't have full power in mode 1, throttle power. It's kind of a bummer you get full power until mode 5. Not a deal breaker. I was watching David Brand New and he said his pedals were kind of close to the ground in the turns. What do you think? Thanks
The pedals (at the lowest) is 4 inches from the ground. The folding e-bike I reviewed before this had pedals 3 inches from the ground (so not sure if this is standard). 4 inches from the ground didn't bother me any. I was still able to lean into turns etc..
At the moment this is my favorite folding bike. Just be careful on the leans because the pedals are a little low. I dont have a problem with it cause I usually have the pedals even when I want to seriously lean.
Hey has anybody been able to figure out how to adjust the power of the pedal assist From 1 through 5 or if you wanted to change 1 to 3 have the same bike in the direction book and I just can't seem to figure it out I wish someone would do a video on this to show us how to do it
I may to an update video on this bike an include the advanced settings. I believe advanced setting "A7 - Number of PAS magnets" can adjust the pedal assist.
Great video but you made that unfolding look hard and thats with your bigass muscles! Been looking at folding ebikes and this one is on my shortlist, along with Lectric xp 3.0 and Xpremium. Subscribed
Lol! Unfolding wasn't the easiest but it's not that hard. I think this make the folding bike more secure and less shaky. So I guess it's personal preference. I have not used Lectric 3.0 yet. But the one that I used I thought was good for the price. But..I like faster bikes with dual suspension.
This bike like the Engwe ep2 pro. I don't really like that the throttle is hooked up to the pas level speeds . Also I don't like the function that if you use throttle the cruise turns on after 8 seconds. That setting almost got me killed a couple of times taking your hand off throttle and the bike still flying at red lights . Cruise should have its own button to turn on I'm my opinion
Great review. I decided to purchase the Vitilan i7 mainly based on your review. The one problem I'm having is the discount code Heroesnstuff is not working. Let me know if you have another code we can use.

Hi, do you think you could fit a passenger on the back, is there like foot pegs or anything that you can install or make yourself?
I honestly don't think so. This rear rack can only carry around 50 pounds. Also the pedals are kinda of close to the rear rack.
@@HeroesNStuff awesome, thank you for the response
So does it go over 30mph and do you have to in settings to unlock?
I can hit 31 with no problem. Don't think it can be unlocked to go faster than that.
When you pedal on any PAS level, does the bike govern your speed so you cant really pedal faster than what the PAS level is?
On this bike yes. Some bikes does this better than others.
Hows the bike holding up? Looking to get one of these
