Casinos also combine multiple decks, making counting even harder, and if the cacino starts to see someone winning more frequently, there winner is watched more closely and often times gets escorted out.

One addition, and one minor correction.
Most big casinos use constant shuffle machines for BJ now. The previous round discards are placed in a hopper that gets shuffled back into the shoe. More hands per hour and makes card counting less reliable.
To get escorted out (ie. trespassed from the property) you have to be causing a scene. Typically, card counters who get caught (and take their lumps respectfully) are told that their play is no longer welcome at the BJ tables, cash out and play something else (source: experience at MGM properties). They will definitely have you arrested if you ever sit BJ (even years later), but your action is welcome at other games. Andy Bloch is a professional poker player and was a member of the MIT blackjack team. He is welcome to play poker but has been backed off for life from all table games in Las Vegas.

@@delphic464Where do you play where most casinos use CSM's? I know that's the case in some European and East Asian markets, but shoe games are the norm in most US casinos. CSM's are expensive, and lots of superstitious gamblers dislike them even if they're not trying to count cards.

I don’t understand why card counting (w/o machine help) can be considered cheating by the casino. If someone has a training/mental advantage, the casino should accept it (me thinks). Otherwise, the casino’s unfair advantage is not covert anymore.

Basic Hi /low count ,and side counting aces is actually pretty easy. The hardest thing to do is get the actual bets down

Counting cards is easy in theory but more difficult in practice. Hundreds of hours of offsetting wins and losses for a small overall advantage.

I suffer through these things simply for the content. The voice of this narrator sounds like a little girl and I'm not a big fan. It just grates on me over time. The other narrator is MUCH better. More professional. Sometimes, even the content goes nowhere.

I’ve never heard a little girl with a voice like his, but I too like the content. You can slightly speed up or slow down the footage if it bothers you that much.
