What a battle. Amazing how many of them can't hit, or have great dodge and or healing options. The 2 big guys took there time whittling each other down.
Great fight. 26:40 - in the end he was just a pushover 😹. I usually wait till the big boys have all arrived and then go to town. But the idea to anger them immediately doesn't seem to bother them - they still fight each other first. 😂
Thanks! Wanted to maximize the experience gain so that's why I took this route. Honestly not very worried about this fight due to having an abundance of ways to go invisible.
I usually wait until the Poppa DJ shows up then start in on the fight, never aggro Balthy that early. Is it for XP if his minions die? I guess I never really thought about that! I love how Connor is such an integral part of your gameplay. Bro is VIP of this run!
It is exactly as you say, for the experience. Since everything turns hostile after some friendly fireballs we gain experience from everything instead of only the justiciars. Getting that sweet sweet 2500 xp! :D Haha I love Connor. Such a useful companion to throw in front of everything nasty that appears.
Hey! I used to do more but now I pretty much know what fights are rough for me. So, in general, I go for key equipment pieces first (as long as I believe I can make it to them), smaller encounters and quests. Then move on to stuff I feel is more dangerous. But, it's not a lot honestly. I just put off hard hitting monsters for as long as possible really.
maybe this fight would also work with blink or greater invis. the sorching ray woul have been better with 40-50 dmg, him jumping besides you was the moment i saw you needing to waste rounds to heal XD all in all a great fight
I really like blink but it does break concentration when you pop out of existence unfortunately. Would very likely have been doable without tentacles though! In a perfect setting the Crusader would had been more damaged towards then end. Thanks!
I actually love how competent of a spellcaster balthasar is due to alert + chugging a speed potion then going to town.
I honestly wish he got some more content. It’s an interesting character
B. sure likes that Cloudkill of his :D Fine work yet again!
He does! Awesome spell after all 😊

I was thinking of Godzilla when they were fighting it out at the end there :)
@@FriendlyLich Hahaha... yes that sounds about right.
That cone of cold was -nasty-
Thanks, sometimes the opportunity presents itself 😇
Yay level 10 and you slaughtered them!
It went almost perfect. Just wish the crusader would had been a bit more wounded at the end :)
Bro, I feel dumb watching, but I love your videos
Hey, first of all thank you very much! But don't feel dumb, I got a lot of hours into the game and I enjoy theory crafting so I do that a lot too.
Great fight.

Lets gooooo
Hi curious how much routing you do for these runs? Between the items and getting all the XP you need, how much do you plan in advance?
