21:04 that is the coolest and funniest discovery in this whole run, it's a mechanic that's just there for immersion really but for the heavy urge it's a lifesaver
Okay, I yield. I watched the one hit video and didn't sub. I watched the 0 ac video several times and didn't sub. But for the torture you put yourself though for this challenge, I have no choice but to sub. Such dedication to content...
I had to walk while heavily encumbered for only a few minuets once when I used barrelmancy to cheese W'wargaz and it was so frustrating walking that few hundred feet to his chamber. I can't imagine how annoying it must have been to do a full run like that. You're easily the best BG3 content creator on TH-cam at the moment for both variety and difficulty of the challenges you do. Keep up the good work man.
Give all barrels to 1 person Have 3 people walk to his boss room Send a few barrels over Place them Send more, repeat process Walk final character into room, no encumbered walking required
you can easily beat honor mode without barrelmancy if you choose a 4-person pure DPS build, I killed the inquisitor in 1 turn with a monk/fighter/paladin/sorcerer team
@suleyman2768 You can, but given the Inquisitor's annoying Legendary Action and the other gith who can down a character in one turn, it's a lot safer to cheese the fight with barrelmancy than risk several bad rolls in a row and wiping your team. I will fight every other battle fair and square, EXCEPT that 1
by the way you can cheese w'wargaz with just 1 character, just bait all the giths to the door to the temple where the blood of lathander is located and begin to fight, you have to be the innitiative winner but it's not really hard (being gloom stalker with high agi definetely easy). Then you hit them with all your actions and go to the temple and back again. Giths have not enough time to regen up and you regain all your actions including the dread ambusher attack because u technically begin a new fight
it's like that choice, infinite money but a snail chases you forever and if it touches you, you die. just in this case, you get nothing and the snail chases anyway lol.
Just so you know. Should you fail a trail of Baldurain, a bunch of shadows spawn to kill you, but the door becomes openable. So in the future, you can just kill the wrong agent or fail the chess game to do the fight, then grab the helmet.
I usually play paladin, so my character is typically the pack rat of the group, so I do end up heavily encumbered a few times when playing. Even just a couple of minutes makes me want to scream. I cannot imagine the mental fortitude it would take to do an entire campaign like that. Kudos!
Useful thing to know (this is on the current patch as of March 15, by the by): The Absolute items are a bit wonky. Some work as their descriptions claim. However, others will work or not work contrary to their descriptions. The Ring of Absolute Force works even without the brand. I found this out when I misread the effect and gave it to my unbranded Gale (who was using reverbation strats). I later found out that it is only supposed to work for branded characters, but remembered Gale's reverbation doing 5 thunder damage. I tested it and checked the damage log. 1d4 thunder damage + 1 from Absolute's Tempest.
You can actually get the Helm of Balduran. Force a fail on any of the other three trials and the door breaks open, along with about 30 undead, one of which has Auto Spirit Guardians up.
6:40 Would be so fitting if you still was a barbarian at this point Throwing a Thieves Tools at a locked door expecting to unlock it is the most barbarian thing I ever saw.
I dub this run the "Pimp walk." My man's just casually taking a stroll. Doesn't matter if it's in the Nine Hells or the scenic country side. He gives no fucks. I love it. lol
The overloaded runs from people like ymfah and others are among my favorite ones on youtube just because of how awful the experience seems, kudos for suffering for our enjoyment
I like to imagine his durge carrying a huge chest on his back while casting feather fall to fly very short distances, and everyone just looking at him funny while he struggles.
Bouch: trust me man, pick pocketing is such a waste of time, you need to roll a 20 on disadvantage Also Bouch: proceeds to do the most unnecessarily unnerving run ever.
As a Sorcerer, you don't need the rune to save Shadowheart. You can just use checks to magic your way through the system. Scan the pod, pass the check, then go to the console and do the same.
26:00 idk if you'll see this, but instead of walking that entire way, you can just open the door that leads to the blood of lathander, and that area isnt a red zone
3:07 sorcerers, warlocks and barbarians are three classes I know for sure can save Shadowheart without the tablet at the start, you just need to roll the dice at the console
A while ago, I did Oblivion "No skills" run, which included "no running" condition, because running is athletics skill. I remember my frustration during certain quests... Sorcerer: "Go find that woman, she is SLOWLY WALKING somewhere around the town." Me: "Alright, time for some EPIC CHASE!" 😂
You made the challenge way worse than I would have done, respect. That deserves a sub (I would have set the rule so you can go unencumbered in the camp for inventory management but must be heavily encumbered before leaving
IIRC you can access Ansur - I failed one of the challenges and a bunch of enemies spawned, once they were all killed the door was open, even though I had failed without even attempting all of the challenges
Maybe you already knew this, but you could've still gotten the helm of balduran. The door opens both if you complete all the challenges or if you fail any of them. Though if you fail them you'd have to fight a bunch of ads so maybe it just wouldn't work out anyway for your build. Great video btw! I've been binging your content lately and I can't wait for more!
11:00 WEIRD. Shockingly I didn't know that, because the last Storm Sorcerer I played was part of a MULTICLASS-MADNESS playthrough (where *everyone* is taking one level in *every-class* ) so when I picked up Shovel's scroll I just, learned it as a wizard spell.
Take my sub, you’ve earned it by going through this absolute madness. You should think about a proficiency run, where you can only use items you’re not proficient with lol
I also encountered the shovel issue in my storm sorcerer playthrough and here is a work around for it. It requires another partymember though so yeah. You let the other party member who is a magic user summon him, walk through the mirror and then talk to shovel with your main character who is a storm sorcerer but still they get the permanent ability to summon shovel
Just a heads up, you can actually fail the lanceboard puzzle, get attacked by a bunch of undead and it'll unlock the door and let you skip all the puzzles to reach Ansur and that helm you wanted. I discovered this just by sucking at the game. xD
Some people say a man's made out of mud. A poor man is made out of muscle and blood. Muscle and blood and skin and bones. A mind that's weak but a back that's strong.
29:00 The wyrmway is easily skippable. Just fail a chamber. Choose the wrong sentence for the prisoner and tons of shadows will spawn as enemies, kill them and you can simply wall through the doors. No torch, smarts, literacy, or justice required
What's so funny to me is this is actually just my normal build until I collect all the weave items and pickpocket the gloves from Lucretious in Act 3 lol
Scratch playing fetch with you being the saving grace of this run is so funny to me
scratch once again proving he is te best boy
yes! He could just put the gold in a pouch or bag and scratch could probably get it too
It's brilliant!
What a good boy! The best boy
I can imagine it'd be pretty scary to watch a barbarian who's murdered gods slowly walking towards you carrying a metric ton of crap on their back.
Gortash: what his that sound
Bouch: *BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG* IM COMMING SLOWLY BUT CAREFULLY

I subbed when I heard his voice
You are going to love MittenSquad and ymfah
I subbed after the 0 AC. Second video I watched after the One-shot (bum-bum-tiss) video.
@@pedropimenta896i thought something happened to mittensquad
@@temperspacehe passed away a while back. I think it was from health issues related to alcohol use. He is missed
The best part of this video is imagining Scratch picking up a stack of 1000 gold, one coin at a time, because he's just so good
Having to cast feather fall while always overencumbered offers its own sort of poetic irony 😂
I had to walk while heavily encumbered for only a few minuets once when I used barrelmancy to cheese W'wargaz and it was so frustrating walking that few hundred feet to his chamber. I can't imagine how annoying it must have been to do a full run like that.

you can easily beat honor mode without barrelmancy if you choose a 4-person pure DPS build, I killed the inquisitor in 1 turn with a monk/fighter/paladin/sorcerer team
If you go to where the mace of lathander is you can fast travel for so reason
@suleyman2768 You can, but given the Inquisitor's annoying Legendary Action and the other gith who can down a character in one turn, it's a lot safer to cheese the fight with barrelmancy than risk several bad rolls in a row and wiping your team. Alternative titled : Snail Chases You Across Faerun
But fr , super excited to watch !
it's like that choice, infinite money but a snail chases you forever and if it touches you, you die. just in this case, you get nothing and the snail chases anyway lol.
@@tooth2887 but what if it was gortash that got the crown (not money) and we are the snail chasing him
About the Torch for the Ansur Trial: When you click on the statue and start the trial through it you automaticlly pick up the torch.
Your question: Can you? My question: Why would you want to?
If you fail the chess challenge 3 times the big door breaks and you can just avoid the undead that spawn and enter
Just so you know. Should you fail a trail of Baldurain, a bunch of shadows spawn to kill you, but the door becomes openable. So in the future, you can just kill the wrong agent or fail the chess game to do the fight, then grab the helmet.
I can just tell by the title this must have been a pain to make
And thank you for doing so
I usually play paladin, so my character is typically the pack rat of the group, so I do end up heavily encumbered a few times when playing. Even just a couple of minutes makes me want to scream. I cannot imagine the mental fortitude it would take to do an entire campaign like that. Kudos!
The sheer will and dedication to go through with this stupid idea and actually make it, incredible!
huge respect man-you’ve been coming up with some of the most entertaining BG3 challenge run ideas out there!

Ohhh i see, that’s why my Wyll is doing so much extra with reverb
around 3 months ago i got to watch your first video ever, never knew you would become my favourite youtuber
You deserve all your coming success man, this is by far the craziest BG3 challenge i've seen purely due to the absolute godlike patience needed.
You can actually get the Helm of Balduran. Force a fail on any of the other three trials and the door breaks open, along with about 30 undead, one of which has Auto Spirit Guardians up.

God, I felt sympathy just reading that title. I cannot imagine the pain I am about to witness.
Dude.. putting items to npcs inv just to steal it from them. This game is amazing when crazy ppl like you play it! Amazing content
I dub this run the "Pimp walk." My man's just casually taking a stroll. Doesn't matter if it's in the Nine Hells or the scenic country side. He gives no fucks. I love it. lol
The opening scenes of you moseying through Faerûn is hilarious
Watching you torture yourself with new ridiculous BG3 challenges has become a recent hobby of mine and I find it quite entertaining.
As much as I love the 3 parters, thanks for sparing us the grueling amount of steps you got in for this run.
These vids are super entertaining and taught me so many interesting Bg 3 tips and tricks. Great content, dude.
FINE!!! I’ll SUBSCRIBE!! I honestly can’t fathom the pain you put yourself through, I get frustrated just walking normally😭😭

Scratch, fetch !
*THROWS A NUKE*
21:25 SCRATCH IS BEST BOI
The intro of you just walking really slowly gets me every time lmaoo
Kaneshiros palace theme is such a banger
"I cast magic missile"
Are you going to cast anything else?
"no"

Absolutely love all your challenge videos, please keep them coming!
Honestly the creativity required for this run scratches exactly the itch I needed it to
hey I subscribed very recently and was bummed that you didn't have more videos on the channel!
very excited to watch this one
I adore how Scratch is an integral part of this run
"I'm sure a lot of you don't know of the heavily encumbered status."
Me: *laughs in barrelmancy*
The overloaded runs from people like ymfah and others are among my favorite ones on youtube just because of how awful the experience seems, kudos for suffering for our enjoyment
1:36 when you ask a redditor what the hardest thing they've ever done
Damn! I don't think i'm ever going to have the patience you have shown in this one video.

Don't know if anyone has done this yet, but here's a challenge: Beat Baldur's Gate by ONLY using spell scrolls, found or bought.
Wow! I just realized ur playing in honor mode. Bro u have my ultimate respect! 3:33
I feel your pain so much with this. Because I do let myself be overencumbered sometimes for moving items arounds.... also I've finally subscribed 😂
Reverse-pickpocketing an item from a container is some real moon-logic-big-brain move ahahahah~

What a great challenge mate, nice work!
How did this man appear out of nowhere and consistently drop peak bg3 content
Bro picked the species tied for lowest movement speed for the run where his speed is also halved. 😂 That is dedication… or insanity.
The corridor where the secret door opens when you go to get the blood of Lathander is a safe zone, when you climb over the 2 barrels

Scratch was so essential, and just to think, you almost failed to recruit him
You just had to fail the chess puzzle. After defeating some skeletons that would spawn upon fail, the main door to Ansur will open.
About 29:12 I believe you can also interact with the statue to hear some dialogue, then chose to pick up the torch as a dialogue option

Yeah, with Shovel, its only Draconic Sorcerer and obly if you say the specific line that "Only my blood is draconic" or something like that
This is just torture at this point...
More I say!
