Awesome :D Zombie army is inspired. Lyrthindor was like, "I am an army of rats." And you were like, "Now you are my army of zombies." I didn't know you could start this fight at the effigy. I always thought I had kill the rats in the gauntlet, but then the rats are waiting for me by the time I get down to their lair.
It’s my first time doing this fight, only looked it up on TH-cam how to start it and this is the way they did it. Didn’t know another way was doable too! 😅 Crazy fun with all the zombies! 🧟
@@FriendlyLichFun and really effective. I think it worked out better than using spike growth. If you kill two rats in the gauntlet, a special rat will spawn and want to talk to you. I think it's supposed to spawn close to you, but for me it always spawns by the fast travel waypoint outside Balthazar's room. If you talk to it, it will threaten you and tell you to stop killing rats and gives you the location of minor loot (some gold) if you agree. If you kill it, then all the rats in the gauntlet will run down to their effigy lair. If you follow them, there will be a circle of rats in the lair waiting for you.
It's no item. The zombies itself will infect a person for 1 round and if they die the same turn they turn into another zombie. Lyrthindor is a boss that spawn in this encounter so I don't think he can turn friendly.
@@cwlrs4944 No worries! Ok, so usually the spell Animate Dead allows you to summon 1 zombie. But since we're a necromancer we get more zombies and stronger. Zombies that hit people can inflict "Crawling Gnaw" condition. Upcasting Animate Dead will also provide different summons, like skeleton archers and ghouls (even flying ghouls!). Regarding the zombies: The description of Crawling Gnaw is: "Target is inflicted with zombie mucus. If the affected entity dies before the infection wears off, it will temporarily rise as a Newborn Zombie." Hope that helps! :)
