Fans take home pieces of RFK Stadium, sparking meaningful memories

- For decades RFK Stadium was a staple in our city.
People are taking home pieces that might mean nothing to you, but it brings back a lot of memories for them.
It is cool they did that.
Never knew they did this. Pretty much where my child hood was at that stadium (I was there most of the home games because my father knew Jack Cooke). It was always Redskin Vs Cowboys that the most intense game ever. fights, loudness, and it can get dangerous. Remember taking the Metro in and DC Armory held the Circus with the Ringling Brothers and we use to go to the Armory for Head units, speakers, etc. Bring back memory's. I even became friend with Chief Zee. The Hogs were entertaining but they scared me up close (I was young), Grown men dress in women clothing with pig nose and cigars. Can't forget about the deck bouncing up/down. I remember RFK got so loud from the crowds. I could not hear anything from the stadium speakers. I can't forget the those little portable TVs that they brought in the stadium to watch the other games, lol.
The Commanders can build a new stadium in that same location of RFK .

I am very proud of you my friend for being able to get that elevator panel. I know how you are about elevators in fact I'm a big supporter of what you do on TH-cam. I'm on the autism spectrum myself and I used to get into a lot of trouble playing on elevators. I can't think of somebody more deserving of that panel than you. Please use that panel in good health.

Anyone remember Bubba? The older man who ran the freight elevator for year's. Head of Security nicknamed the Chief? Never did get his actual name he never liked me very much lol.
