Translation Notes:
0:01:47 Kei's name is shown to be a homonym for the Japanese word "刑" (kei, meaning to inflict punishment).
0:20:28 The sound of "世都佳", which is thought to be Kei's full name, is unknown. This is because only the kanji are provided, there is no audio or furigana. I have tentatively used "Kei Seto" here, but the correctness of this reading is not guaranteed.
0:20:50 "ホツレ"(Hotsure) refers to a state in which the edges, seams or others at the cloth have come undone. After reading the whole story, I thought it was a state, not a proper noun, so I decided to translate it as "Frayed". There was also an issue where writing "Hotsure" would read like "Hot-sure" in English (Hotsure is the romanization of the Japanese "Ho-tsu-re").
0:21:15 "エンガワのオコトワリ"(Engawa no Okotowari, meaning Refuse of Porch?) is a mishearing of the Japanese pronunciation of "Law of Cycles"(in Japanese, Enkan no Kotowari). It should have no relation to "Madoka Engawa" which was drawn by PAPA. This time, I inherited only the element that it was a mishearing, rhymed and translated it as "Thaw of Icicles", but please note that this is completely different from the original text meaning.
0:39:49 "先生"(Sensei) is a word that is generally translated as Teacher, but it is used more broadly as an honorific title for people with various positions. It is no suggestion that she was a teacher. "氏子"(Ujiko) generally refers to Shrine Parishioner, but in this context I felt that it was used here to refer to shrine maidens or shamans like Himiko and Toyo. In any case, these are used as designations here, so I just used the Japanese sounds.
0:43:38 The kanji for Shii's real name, "思惟"(Shiyui), can also be read as "Shii".
0:48:11 Up until this point, Shii had been referring to herself as "わたし" (watashi), but when she became a magical girl and faced Nagisa, she started using "僕"(boku). This could be expressing a change in her thinking, but all these expressions disappear when translated into English. Furthermore, Shii used the kanji character "私"(watashi) only at 0:19:11, but it is unclear whether this is used with a meaning or is just a typo.
1:09:11 "ヨダカ"(Yodaka, meaning Nighthawk) seems to be a reference to The Nighthawk Star (in Japanese, Yodaka no Hoshi) written by Kenji Miyazawa. There are multiple other references to Kenji Miyazawa in Magia Record.
1:09:32 "×××イ××"(xxxixx) is implying that the name has 6 characters in katakana and the 4th character is "イ"(i). Some Japanese players speculate that this means Kuroe's first name is Iroha, the same as Iroha Tamaki, but nothing is certain so far.
