Note: ホツレ(Hotsure) refers to a state in which the edges, seams or others at the cloth have come undone. After reading the whole story, I thought it was a state, not a proper noun, so I decided to translate it as "Frayed". There was also an issue where writing "Hotsure" would read like "Hot-sure" in English (Hotsure is the romanization of the Japanese "Ho-tsu-re").

It's weird, she has the most normal mannerisms and speech from any other girl thus far.
It's interesting that because her emotions are constantly being reset, this produces rational reactions.
By the way, where did you think about the selling of organs? There is no such depiction in the original text so I may need to revise the translation.

I currently think that Yuu's Magical Girl Story and Yuu in "Nagisa Momoe's wish was granted" should be viewed as two separate things. This may be detailed in near future new events and in Shii's Magical Girl Story.

So Yuu is not a simple magic girl but a "hotsure", i've been checking, and it seems a complex term to translate, but it seems to be something like unravel or undone: A magic girl with a "bad cause" (might be a reference to void girls?) that will lead to the worst future and that Nagisa has the "foreordained destiny" to take care of (by Godoka?). She even hypothesize that Nagisa interfering with the space-time might have triggered the birth of Yuu!
For Hotsure, I could have thought of a translation like "Frayed", but since it's probably a proper noun as like "Uwasa" or "Kimochi", I used the word as is. If I remember correctly, this word has never appeared anywhere else, so I honestly don't know how to translate it.

Rather than "to bring to nothing," I would've translated なくす as "to eliminate" or "to get rid of." :)
Thank you for your suggestion. I didn't use the word "eliminate" because it carries the meaning of "murder". I considered using "to get rid of", but since it might seem to imply animosity or malice, I thought it would be better to use "bring to nothing", given the overall meaning of the story. What do you think about this?
I wonder who is actually responsible for Yuu? Is it really Nagisa? The original Nagisa did die in the MR universe and she was sent by Madokami, but, you also have Homura's time travel, and Iroha is an anomaly in the MR universe as well. Does this mean there could be other hotsures as well?
Finally, a magical girl that makes sense. I want to be Yuu's friend, too.

? magireco Nagisa dies in Nagisa's wish. The playable Nagisa is Law of Cycles. She makes explicit references about it in this video.
I'll be honest, this translation is quite rough. Which is strange given how good mabayu's translation was.
I prioritized speed because I thought many people would want to know the content first. For scene 0, I completely gave up on early release and translated it carefully, so the difference in quality may be obvious. If you can point out specifically where you feel it's rough, I'll do my best to fix it.
However, even with that in mind, the content of this story is very literary and contains many expressions unique to Japanese, and the character Yuu is incoherent, which makes it difficult to translate into English.
@@29udon I see. I'm not fluent in Japanese, so this was more my perspective reading the dialogue. I'll look through the video again to see if there're any specific examples I can point to, but in a broad sense, I found the character's phrasing to be very strange. Like how Nagisa kept referring to herself as "I, Nagisa".
Nagisa speaks strange Japanese. She calls herself "Nagisa" instead of "I". I could just replace "I" with "Nagisa" in English, but I felt like people wouldn't understand what she was talking about, so I wrote both.
the very young Japanese girls mostly use their name to pronoun themselves more than " watashi " aka I or me.
it's completely culture thing and I think it's ok to keep it like this.
