Looks great so far! Very excited to see how this project progresses. For the background, I think a black window tint would look amazing. For the tank at the fish store, I think doing jellyfish would look phenomenal!
So Octopus really don't show off well. Jellies totally show off all the time, but lack personality. Seahorses are hit and miss. They are hard to keep. Expect folks to put their hands on the tank to look. If it was me and I was a shop owner, I would totally go jelly for display. Plus they do really good in round style tanks.
Jellyfish or seahorses. But no octopus. They're extremely intelligent. They travel huge distances in the wild. Sure this could be an argument for the majority of fish in the hobby. They don't seem happy in tanks. They belong in the ocean not in some display. Unless you have over 20,000 gallons to keep them truly happy they shouldn't be in your tank.
Hey Joey, everything is really coming together for you. I can't wait to see how you scape them and stock them. Thank you so much for sharing your video with us. Happy Holidays to you and yours.
An octopus would be cool but they dont live long only a year or 2 or less. Go for some seahorses, super cool hoping to get some myself sooner or later. Hope the tanks do great!
As cool as that tank is, it's design is really only humane for jelly fish; given your three choices. Absolutely don't put an octopus in those conditions.
Seahorses are probably small enough to enjoy that space, so long as there aren't too many in there I would assume. If you dump like 30 in there yeah it's probably a problem. A single octopus would probably be fine if it were a small breed, too. But yes, jellies would be coolest imo.
I find the best way to do a background is you use a plastic tablecloth that you buy at Walmart for about $0.99. They come in multiple colors it's plastic and it's easy. And all you do is tape it up there
Looks great. I'd love to see you do at least 1 of them with an over the back filter. Since that's what most of us would start with when strating up a tank.
I like the ideas of anemone and clowns or jellyfish. As for the new rack tanks, natives would be cool. Many people don't know there are interesting and beautiful fish in our own back yards that are aquarium capable. Or maybe an around the world through aquariums theme. Any which way I look forward to seeing the tanks transformations. Thank you for all of your excitement, knowledge sharing, and all you do in the name of the hobby.
Using vinyl wrap material is way easier than using window film. I use wrap on all of my tanks to black them out. You can install it dry and bubbles press out with ease. I’m a window tint / vinyl wrap installer for a living.
My Pleco (small) died today. Seven years old. He always hid and showed little gill spikes when I looked at him, but he really grew on me. I think I’m going to miss him:( I’m gutted, non fish keepers don’t understand:(. Keep up the hard work king of DIY:)
I'm very sorry for your loss. Had to euthanize a betta a few months ago and I think about him everyday. Gummy Worm was a good fish friend :( but he had dropsy and was presumably old, and I couldnt do anything to bring him back from that point
3 blue and 3 black. Gives u more options if you wanna put blue or black colored fishes inside. For example black fish u could put in a blue painted aquarium
I want to see you do a legit planted scape and take us along for the frustrating mess of a journey. Your hairgrass carpet for the neons was just a piece of the puzzle
Ive asked the same question during a members only livestream. Joey said he enjoys doing what hes doing now, enjoying making videos and inspiring others. Customer service is not in his “enjoyed skill set”
In my personal opinion I would go for jellyfish. I've kept an octopus before and it only lasted me 6 months in perfect water and feeding conditions, also I've heard that seahorses are really difficult to take care of, I personally don't know if this is true or not but it's just what I've heard. However Jelly fish do require a special flow to prevent them from hitting the sides of the tank, so If that tank doesn't have it, then maybe stick with seahorses.
Hey joey love the videos! I personally would go black background on the tanks. A idea for one of the bottom tanks, put a army of Hatchet fish in one of them. Then you can view them without having to "kneel down" to the tank. I think it would look awesome :D Peace
Hi joey, looks amazing, try a mix of blue and black then stand back and see what looks best, i have 2 tanks 5ft x 2ft and a 4ft x 2ft, next to each other, both blue, keep up the fantastic work, love the videos 👌👌👌👍
Hey Joey, that fish would look very nice in a salt water cylinder acrylic Aquarium maybe a 500 gallon saltwater acrylic aquarium! I know you will be able to build one With the stand to match it with a sump under it. Are you up for the challenge Joey?! I know you can do it because you are the man!
Racks and tanks are lookin' good, Joey! Normally I'd pick black for the background, cuz it would match everything else in the room, but ultimately it's your room, your choice! It'll look awesome either way...👍🍄😎
When it comes to 1Fish2Fish tank I do like the jellyfish idea, though don’t you have to have a certain type of current? Sea horse or octopus would probably have the biggest wow factor imo, octopus seem like a liability if you don’t make sure there is absolutely no way it can get out. Based on watching George (I believe he spells it with a J) from CoralFish12g and some reading it’s my understanding that seahorses are a lot of work and you got to feed them like 3 times a day. As far as the racks I can’t wait to see how you do the filtration. I’m curious to see if you treat each rack as a single unit in terms of filtration or have them all on there own.
I think 40 breeders are the best footprint for the more modestly-sized fish tanks. For a four footer, I'd skip right over 55's and go straight to either a 75 or 120.
I vote Jellys. Seahorses are super high maintenance and Octopus are notorious escape artists. Also go with the tint on the new tanks. Replaceable, easy install, and smooth finish
The black window tint sounds interesting. Would like to see how that actually would work out. I used spray in bed liner (like you use on the bed's of pickup's) on a few tanks and it worked great.
If possible one of the 40 br tanks would you do shubunkin goldfish please. As there arent any real videos on them and if they r the videos themselves arent great. Beeen watching you for ages, keep up the good work. Your the reason I have had such fun and been able to further on knowledge. Thank you so much
Looks great so far! Very excited to see how this project progresses. For the background, I think a black window tint would look amazing. For the tank at the fish store, I think doing jellyfish would look phenomenal!
Having a blue background will really expose the algae the aquariums gain. Black would be the better option.
Yep and black makes the tank seem deeper
What was the surprise that one fish two fish gave you. The suspense is killing me.
New tanks 😍 so exciting to see what you do with them!
Jellyfish for store. Hopefully one of the 40br will be a fancy guppy tank.
It sounded like he kept saying Joeyfish not jellyfish. 😆
He did say joeyfish the first time then he said jellyfish second
paint them black - that‘ll make the colours of your new crayfish pop😍
Joey!..don't leave us in suspense..what was the free gift he gave you for helping him out?. Tanks racks are awesome.

Dude you are addicted to Aquariums LOL love it makes it interesting for us for sure!
Octopus all the way! And pleeaase do something saltwater with an emperor angel and/or a porcupine puffer
So what was the surprise?????? Are you planning to put any plants in the new tanks??? Plus have you had any Thoughts about what live stocks for them?
Hey Joey, everything is really coming together for you. I can't wait to see how you scape them and stock them. Thank you so much for sharing your video with us. Happy Holidays to you and yours.
Your finally going back to your roots by doing this project. It’s what normal people have or can obtain.
You should stock one of the 40br with a bunch of nano plants and just shrimp. Trust me it would look amazing! Love you Joey ❤️.
a acrylic cylinder tank would look great in your entry room.and curious minds want to know what was the gift you got if you dont mind sharing.
Black backgrounds for sure! Betta breeding would be so cool. Also something brackish would be educational to most.
1:47
Dude, go with the jellies!!!!
Please make one of your new aquariums a pea puffer aquarium!🤩
Ohhhh you got a pressie! Can’t wait to see what was in there, the new tanks look great 🙂
An octopus would be cool but they dont live long only a year or 2 or less. Go for some seahorses, super cool hoping to get some myself sooner or later. Hope the tanks do great!

3:28- Get him pleassseee ❤❤
Looks great. I'd love to see you do at least 1 of them with an over the back filter. Since that's what most of us would start with when strating up a tank.
Wow that’s messed up Joey why u gotta tease us WHATS IN THE BOX!!!!!?????
Mario Galluccio sorry! Wanted to keep this series on topic, the surprise will get its own video!
The king of DIY understandable but u dirty tease
Yes octopus that would-be killer 👍
I like the ideas of anemone and clowns or jellyfish. As for the new rack tanks, natives would be cool. Any which way I look forward to seeing the tanks transformations. Thank you for all of your excitement, knowledge sharing, and all you do in the name of the hobby.
Lots of small, fast schooling fish. Would be cool to see them school up and swim in circles around the edge of the tank.
Can you imagine filling that cylinder with neons or cardinals 😍
Using vinyl wrap material is way easier than using window film. I use wrap on all of my tanks to black them out. You can install it dry and bubbles press out with ease. I’m a window tint / vinyl wrap installer for a living.
He should do a octopus for the cylinder tank. I would love to find out about something like that
My Pleco (small) died today. Seven years old. He always hid and showed little gill spikes when I looked at him, but he really grew on me. I think I’m going to miss him:( I’m gutted, non fish keepers don’t understand:(.
Keep up the hard work king of DIY:)

Had to euthanize a betta a few months ago and I think about him everyday. Gummy Worm was a good fish friend :( but he had dropsy and was presumably old, and I couldnt do anything to bring him back from that point
Octopus for sure!! 🤙🏻
Octopus creeps me out the thought of keeping something that's probably smarter than me in a box just weirds me out. Jellies are neat.
He should definitely do octopus
So what was the surprise? Black tint would look grt...
Saltwater tank in one of the 40g aquariums and try your hand at coral or a smaller predator saltwater tank perhaps. Awesome video as always
Jelly fish would look great in the cylinder
3 blue and 3 black. Gives u more options if you wanna put blue or black colored fishes inside. For example black fish u could put in a blue painted aquarium
Do blue backgrounds and please get some guppies 🤗
I'm so jealous that you have an amazing store you can go to!
I want to see you do a legit planted scape and take us along for the frustrating mess of a journey. Your hairgrass carpet for the neons was just a piece of the puzzle
With one of the 125's **
(Since they're individual and the racks can handle the equipment)
Just a question , why dont you make your own fish store? Youre excellent with fish and i think alot of people would also like to see you have one :)
That's not what he wants to do
Ive asked the same question during a members only livestream. Joey said he enjoys doing what hes doing now, enjoying making videos and inspiring others. Customer service is not in his “enjoyed skill set”
That emperor is beautiful! Also I would love for a Octopus!
In my personal opinion I would go for jellyfish. I've kept an octopus before and it only lasted me 6 months in perfect water and feeding conditions, also I've heard that seahorses are really difficult to take care of, I personally don't know if this is true or not but it's just what I've heard. Jellyfish would use the verticality of the round tank best imo.
Do guppie tank or a betta fish tank thank you for all you have done for me and all other people
Hey joey love the videos! I personally would go black background on the tanks. A idea for one of the bottom tanks, put a army of Hatchet fish in one of them. Then you can view them without having to "kneel down" to the tank. I think it would look awesome :D Peace
My guess is the ‘surprise’ box is filled with live bees. 🐝 🐝 🐝
That would certainly be surprising 😂
That cylinder tank was cool he should definitely try and get a baby dolphin for it!
Put Jellyfish in the cylindrical tank
Octopus would be awesome
Casually sidesteps the gift that his fish shop gave him lol 😂 😉 😜 ...... An then keeps us all in suspense thanks Joey
With the small footprint of the cylinder I would do jellys.
Wow they look great they look so good in the racks you made 👍🏻
Easiest will be Jelly fish.. but will like to see an octopus.
Hi joey, looks amazing, try a mix of blue and black then stand back and see what looks best, i have 2 tanks 5ft x 2ft and a 4ft x 2ft, next to each other, both blue, keep up the fantastic work, love the videos 👌👌👌👍
Do another store walk through I love those!

Window Tint Black. What a wonderful Idea.
How dare you tease with a mini tour! I know we just had one but I want another 😂
Octopus joey it would look amazing in that tank
They should put a jellyfish in store. For you painting the background, pick the color as you pick the fish or scape to that tank.
Go on then what was the sneaky present Haha! Ergh dont go blue dude, I never understand why on earth aquariums are blue from choice!
When it comes to 1Fish2Fish tank I do like the jellyfish idea, though don’t you have to have a certain type of current? By special current I mean I know they make aquarium that are designed specifically with them in mind that creates a circular flow
What was the big surprise
Maybe you should do a brackish tank and see what kind of plants might do well in brackish with maybe some rarer fish and what would do well with them
Something like the Zebra Blenny if you could get your hands on some.
Finally an idea just my size. Definently love the 40 breeder footprint. I'm an ornamental shrimp breeder and this is a great size.
Man! I just love Susan!
Looks good.
One half black and the other half blue
I think 40 breeders are the best footprint for the more modestly-sized fish tanks. For a four footer, I'd skip right over 55's and go straight to either a 75 or 120.
Octopus are so cool I have one myself and love watching it,octopus are very interesting to watch too
Dude make a video there are like no videos about any octopuses on TH-cam
JELLYFISH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Definitely octopus!
You should do a community betta tank 1-2 males and about 10 females and try to get them to breed
worst idea i ever heard off. you dont put bettas in a community tank
I vote Jellys. Seahorses are super high maintenance and Octopus are notorious escape artists. Also go with the tint on the new tanks. Replaceable, easy install, and smooth finish
joey when are you getting discus again, would like to see a discus tank again
I am a big time fan of solid blacks 💖💖
The black window tint sounds interesting. Would like to see how that actually would work out.
I used spray in bed liner (like you use on the bed's of pickup's) on a few tanks and it worked great.
100000% octopus 🐙 and why are you making us wait to see the surprise joey cmon 🤣
If possible one of the 40 br tanks would you do shubunkin goldfish please. As there arent any real videos on them and if they r the videos themselves arent great. Beeen watching you for ages, keep up the good work. Your the reason I have had such fun and been able to further on knowledge. Thank you so much
Hi love the video but I will love to see you have a guppie tank or a betta fish tank thank you for all you have done for people like me
You should def do black! Would match the aesthetic of the gallery best! Looking forward to the rest of the series!!
Super curious to see what you do with the smaller tanks!!!!!
Please do a honey gourami planted tank!!!! 🤞🤞🤞
5:54 woah susan is huge now
I would do some blue and some black so you have different options with each tank. Maybe even a white background on one.
Go black on the backs of the 40 gallon tanks.
Tanks look fantastic on the rack. Looking forward to see what goes in
You could do a few different types of tinted backgrounds,. Frost, black, etc.
Jelly fish for sure
That emperor is straight up godly
0:35 thats so freaking beautiful!❤️
Yes The front to back room is the best. My first big tank (if you will) was a 40 breeder..
That is a HUGE fish store!!! Damn!!
KING OF BUY
lol
Octopus 🐙 joe you should do a new saltwater predator tank
What was the surprise ?
