That 20ft tank your talking about making, you should put all pf your Rays in there. I feel like that would the best for them in my opinion and you should those angel fish in where the stingrays are at now until they get big enough to where your arrowanna wont eat them. Once they're big enough i feel like that 2000 would be ideal for themm
What if you remove some of the rocks so they can have a bit more space on there besides all the gallons it circulates? It's kinda small space that don't help with the aggression.
The water volume isn’t the problem for the rays in the tank, it’s the lack of ground surface to move around on for them. Honestly should be 2x bigger for those adults
