I make this drink, but i use almond milk and, to fill me up for the ENTIRE day, I would add 1 or 2 egg yolks (depending on how much energy I need for that day) **you don't even taste the egg yolks except for the extra thick creaminess they add.. I also use my immersion blender to mix, sooo much easier to clean just one little piece than a whole big blender and all it's parts 😂 I know this is an old video, but I followed you religiously (on youtube and via your emails/blogs) a few years ago when I did the keto lifestyle.. I made so many of your recipies and they always came out just delish!! Unfortunately, I let my health fall by the wayside in the past couple of years but now that I'm ready to get back to keto and have pulled up my favorite videos. I truly appreciate the time and effort you've taken to create these videos for us Dot. Thank you from my heart 💜
I make a fat bomb shake with ingredients like avocado, Swerve, coconut or almond milk, cacao powder, hemp powder, walnuts or pecans and ice. I put it into my Blendtec. I have it for lunch and it holds me for almost the rest of the day. It’s wonderful and filling. I don’t feel deprived. Sometimes I add a teaspoon of organic decaf for a mocha flavor. I love it!
My son just started keto and I'm glad I found your channel! He's going through a divorce and put on a lot of weight. I'm trying to help him lose it again. Thank you Dot!
i have made this two days in a row now. the first time, i followed the recipe as is, and then after reading some of the comments here addressing carb concerns, i made some adjustments based on V L's comment below. i much prefer the use of heavy cream over the coconut cream - i think if i have learned anything here, it's that coconut cream really isn't my thing. i also tried adding a bit of monk fruit sweetener, as well as some vanilla extract, but i probably wouldn't do that again as it was an exercise in futility. what i mean is that i wouldn't say that this shake tastes good, but i wouldn't say it tastes bad, either. the flavor is mostly neutral and non-offensive. this is much more about a texture experience. if you like things smooth, creamy and silky, then you might like this - if you're looking for a blast of flavor, this isn't it. that being said, i have hit a plateau in my weight loss, and this shake has helped me stay full and focused throughout the late morning and afternoon. it wins points for helping to keep me motivated an inspired.
Awesome that you are experimenting! That's really important. Recipes can be played with to suit your own needs and tastes. This shake does keep you full too.
My daughter and I have decided to start this eating method. We have tried everything else with 100% failure. I think having a decadent drink like this will encourage us to continue the journey and get past the FLU! I know I need to keep the carbs low but I also believe we can sabotage our plan if an unreasonable number is set in stone. I found your channel and love your videos. So very thorough, encouraging and inspiring. That’s what I need at the moment. THANK YOU!
Hey Martha Warren, why don’t you give intermittent fasting a try. Don’t deprive yourself of unreasonable treats but be strict about your non-eating hours. I bet you’ll find it surprisingly doable! You can some good info from Dr Eric Berg’s channel. Good luck!
To avoid keto flu, stay hydrated and make sure you get enough magnesium and potassium and salt. Add some NoSalt salt substitute with your sea salt to get the proper amounts of magnesium, potassium and sodium without overdoing any of them (too much potassium can be dangerous. Using salt substitute gives you enough without overdosing) when you go keto, your body uses up these minerals faster and keeping hydrated will flush them out faster, too. Reccommended by Dr. Ken Berry www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=m.youtube.com/watch%3Fv%3D_EftSmV4UMU&ved=2ahUKEwiHg9OWiMXlAhUCNKwKHRL5AiAQwqsBMAF6BAgIEAk&usg=AOvVaw38XeRA82-6a60yVk-G3gLX
Pam Waldron it’s awfully hard to OD on potassium from a salt shaker, we need 4700 mg a day unless having a health concern that can’t have potassium. (One medium banana is 420 mg. Avocado or sweet potato have more potassium, but avocado is better for keto or low carb.) Potassium is so good for us and a shortage can cause random charley horses at any part of the body.
Hi Dot and thanks for sharing your weight loss journey. I'm Lynnette and I am just starting my low carb journey. I'm 54 and have been obese most of my adult life. I have many health issues and am so excited to try low carb. I have to break the carb addiction cycle! I'll keep you posted on my progress and will watch for your videos.
This is an amazing drink. I am trying this as my first option of the day as I am intermittent fasting. Thank you so much for sharing this. Luckily, I had all of the ingredients on hand.
Love your recipes AND your personality. It's delightful when your hubby joins in with comments and his favorites. You are making my low-carb journey soooooo much more enjoyable! Thank You❣️😁👍
I am so glad I found your channel!! Loving all your recipes so far, and this one (second to the crustless pizza) makes me super excited!! I have 4 children, and a diabetic husband! We are new to keto and I get so tired of trying to cook healthy, but run out of ideas!! This would be a great alternative to the sugary hot cocoa!! Thank you so much for taking time to make these videos!! (I subscribed immediately after watching the first video!!!)
I make my bulletproof coffee with almost the same ingredients as you do... Just added organic coffee and some drops liquid vanilla Stevia 😊 And instead of ordinary milk I use almond milk..... It’s really yummy ☕️❤️
I've seen a few of your videos and really like them. I am currently 331 lbs and like you I also have been heavy most of my adult life and have tried every diet out there known to man. I have struggled with my weight most of my life. I have osteoarthritis in both knees and have to use a power wheelchair to get around because it's way too painful to walk. I am not able to exercise much at all since I can only stand for 5 minutes at a time without being in extreme pain. I'm writing down some of your recipes that look and sound good to me. Hopefully they will help me lose weight so I can get to where I am able to exercise. Thank you for making these videos
I also recommend you read "A new atkins for a new you" -- available at Amazon, not sure which bookstores (but likely at Barnes & Noble). In your case, I also recommend working with a doctor who understands low carb dieting. Best of luck :)
You go girl! You can do it! View Dr Eric Berg's videos on low carb high fat moderate protein eating lifestyle. It'll change your life and the pounds will drop off. Atkins is a low carb high protein and will stress your liver and kidneys. I lost 23lbs in 3 months with Dr Berg. He is my hero. I highly recommend viewing his videos. You'll be so glad you did!
This was delicious and definitely satiating. Unfortunately, it wreaked havoc on my digestive system and couldn't get out of the bathroom for over 24 hours. It may have been the coconut oil as I don't usually ingest that particular fat. I've been doing keto for about a year now. I think the concept of a fat bomb to break your fast is a good one and I'm going to tweak this recipe to reduce the carbs, but also play around with different fats. Thanks so much for sharing this. I think I will order this cookbook too! Good luck on your journey, Dot!
I have just found your channel. Signed up for your blog posts, as well. You may well have saved my life!!! Thank you! I have been fasting and low carbing for my health. MS for over 20 years, and subsequent weight gain from prednisone. I ditched my prescriptions about 6 years ago and have been trying to lose. Finally having some success with keto, and dropping sugar from my diet, which is huge. But I fear its not sustainable. I am missing pizza and cheese steaks. both recipes of yours i just pinned and cant wait to try!! thankyou thankyou thankyou!!!
Holly, I thought the same thing when I went keto. But it isn't just what you eat that is changing...it's also how you think too! I always tell people that health and weight loss is 95% food and 100% mental. Does this mean you'll never ever eat a slice of pizza (or 2)? Of course not. The key is what you do the next meal! I'm not saying go out and eat pizza! Just that life happens. Just don't beat yourself up and instead focus your energies on eating keto with the very next meal. Also if you are worried about cravings for old, unhealthy foods, there are ways to satisfy that itch without breaking your diet. Good luck and remember, you can do this.
Ooh yum, just made this, but used unsweetened almond milk instead to cut back on the carbs the whole milk has. And added 2 tsp of golden munk fruit sweetener. Thank you so much for sharing this amazing recipe. Made this the second time with 1 cup of coffee instead of any milk and it kept me satiated a little longer.
I really enjoy your videos. I have been doing Keto for about a week now. I have been a type 2 diabetic for over 20 years. Since being on Keto my fasting blood sugars have been the lowest since I was diagnosed. I am so happy. I have lost 10 lbs so far. I have so much mor energy. Keep up the great videos. You are so motivating to me.
Wow! Very happy to hear about your blood sugar levels (and the 10 lbs. is awesome too). Not to be a nag, but if you are taking any medication be sure to work with your doctor. Good luck and awesome news.
Cynthia Tower if I may,,,,,a friend who works in ICU taught me to encourage people to do 1 Oz of organic apple cider vinegar a day...it will get most type 2 diabetics off all meds within days. Since she taught me that I have told all my friends with type 2 and they are all off their meds. Most within a week 1 took just over 2 weeks but his sugars were border line type 1
Cynthia Tower I was diagnostic with tipe 2 diabet I m on medication ,do YOU minte to tel me exactly What YOU are doing ,what YOU eat to get better ,I feel I don,t have energi Thank YOU very much
I really love your videos. You're just so cold and personable. And I'd like every one of your recipes I've watched so far. Congratulations on your weight loss. Amazing.
Allison, click on SHOW MORE which is right on top of the comment section, under the video. She has provided a link with a printable recipe. All the measurements are there! Hope that helps! : ) here is a link: dot2trot.com/a-fatbomb-shake-to-keep-you-full-all-day/
Thanks for the printable recipe....! looks fantastic. I have coconut oil that doesn't impart a coconut taste [supposedly] but I haven't used it in a concentration like this before. But will try! The part about always being hungry is very resonating to me right now...what I am doing leaves me hungry even hangry!!
You could sub HWC for both ....... the 5 oz of milk : 50/50 HWC and water. I don't buy coconut cream, here is hugely expensive, so I would use HWC instead. Being soooo thick and rich I sure it would be a sub for 2 of my meals. 20 carbs is a a lot for 1 drink even though it can last over 4 hrs to drink it. (trying to be helpful not critical) Ok using MFP I made changes that reduced the carb count. 1. removed the coco powder 2. changed the milk and coconut cream to: Water - 3 oz. Cream, fluid, heavy whipping, 274 ml(s) or 9.26 oz These changes brought the carb count down to 8 carbs instead of 20. I hope this helps
Dot - thank you for your video and turning me on to that new book. I ordered it too. Im new to Keto and am soaking in everything that I can get my hands on that is LCHF that makes sense. Im looking forward to seeing more of your recipe suggestions.
I just made this and it is delicious. I added cacao instead of cocoa. I brought the wrong one, not sure how that impacts the carbs. The hardest thing will be not to drink this slowly.
I just love your videos I wish I found you sooner. I started Keto in May as I've mentioned on another of your videos. I share Keto info with soooo many others every day especially at work in the grocery store
Ooh wow, this sounds so yummy. I was craving a hot chocolate, but i didn't want to mess up my keto diet, and mess up. This is amazing, i can't wait to try this tomorrow. Wow!! Thank you so much for sharing your amazing recipe.
This has saved my life thank you so much.. I prep it the night before. Heat it in the morning when I get dressed for work. Take it in the car with me.. It gets me thought till lunch (sorry getting up at 4am) as a nurse there is nothing worse then feel hungry and looking after people 🌺
Dot, I happened onto your channel today. I am so glad I did. I have been wanting to start a Keto diet but I have absolutely no idea where to start. I watched your video about where your journey began and it was like looking into a mirror. I know I need to loose around 80 lbs. I’m 5’5” and around 200 lbs. my diet is horrible, I’m pre diabetic, I’m on hi b.p. Meds and I have extreme back issues due to degenerative disc disease. My husband can loose weight so easily that it’s sickening. I do what he does and nothing! Oh, and I’m addicted to Dr. Pepper. I’m a hot mess! My question to you is, how do you actually get started with this life style change, I have to look at is as tho it’s not a diet or I’ll fail before I ever get started. Any help you can push my way would be so appreciated. Thank you for your videos and I look forward to this work in progress.
The best way to get started is education: read "a new atkins for a new you" -- very good book by doctors I trust. If your'e a big reader, also pick up "why we get fat." I find the more I know about what I'm doing, the more likely I am to do it or be good at it. Lastly, consider your average American meal: rice, veggies, meat. Here's how easy it is to get started on low carb: eat the veggies and the meat, and leave the fat on the meat. Ditch the rice/macaroni/bread/potato/etc. Also ditch the sugary drinks: sodas, frothy things from starbucks. And candy/cake, etc. You'll find your craving for these things disappear a few weeks into the program. But please don't skimp on the reading. Cheers.
Love your videos and would like to try this drink. I think I would leave the salt out, though, just because I try not to eat too much sodium because I tend to retain fluid, and I don't think leaving the salt out would hurt the taste at all. Other than that, it's all good. Thanks for sharing the recipe. 😊
@@Dot2TrotsLowCarbLiving would you please add a link for what brand coconut cream you prefer to buy? Thanks much. Look forward to trying this version. I used to make a keto hot chocolate with just almond milk but this sounds so much more creamier.
Hi Dot, Loved the video- thanks for sharing- could you put down some recipes for students/kids in dorms and have food insecurity of various sorts? Thanks,
Hi. I've just started this keto diet and I'm having your cheeseburger casserole. I'm not sure if I've missed the measurements for ingredients I'd like to try this. I love coconut! Thanks
I agree, Susan. I tried alternate ingredients, like amond milk instead of whole milk, but could not find a combination that gave similar taste and effect while significantly lowering the carbs and calories. I love many of Dot's other recipes, but this one is a no-go for me.
If this is all you are eating all day befor having just a meat n green veg for the last meal which is only about 5 - 10 carbs then it shouldn’t be a prob. This is replacing 2 meals
Just wondering if you might have noticed that as the beverage cools down, do the fats separate? Looks delish, but I will make half the recipe since I'm trying to be on 25 carbs minimum (30 carbs max) a day. Thank you so much!🌻
I used to drink it very slow but we really should give our bodies hours without food..so as not to spike insulin. Which is what I was doing. Eric Berg on here has a wealth of information on it.
Good point! I do watch Dr. Berg's videos, he's great. Yes, you're right we do need to not eat every 2 hours -- we're not grazers. This particular shake you do need to drink slow -- just a lot of fat in it and not possible to drink fast. While this does have carbs thanks to the milk, the amount of fat results in keeping insulin from spiking. It's the same reason to always have fat when eating berries. Plus this drink keeps you from eating for hours. If I put a time on it, I probably drink this over a 90 minute period and I never finish it ;). But after I'm not eating until I get hungry (about 4-5 hours). So I get the benefit of no eating for a chunk of time and the fat keeps insulin in check. Having hours in the day where you don't eat is good, but we also need to utilize those 8 hours of sleep (including no eating a few hours before bed and a few hours after we get up). That is optimal for fat burning. I think the key really is eating when hungry AND only when hungry. Having said all that, I don't think fat bomb shakes or bullet coffees are something we should do everyday. Just not enough nutrients in them. I really use them sparingly.
I love IF. Since I'm not a breakfast person, during the summer my first meal/snack is at 1or 2. My dinner is around 5-6 and thats it until the next day. I do try to drink 8-10 glasses of water everyday. For me it's the best way to lose weight. I eat anything that I want and never feel deprived. However, two things I do limit is sugar and caffeine intake but if I want it I will have it.
I recommend "A New Atkins For A New You." If you go to my blog, you'll see various books there that I think are helpful, in addition to this one. All are affiliate links. You can also go to Amazon and search for it directly of course. Cheers.
Loretta again with a follow-up. I made this chocolate shake exactly as recipe stated. So creamy, nice chocolate taste. I did make one addition, I added locanto monk fruit granulated with erythritol. Awful mistake. Gave it a metallic taste. Will try swerve next. But recipe is very good on its own without adding any sweetner.
I don't add any sweetener -- the dairy has enough lactose (milk sugar) in it for me. If you want to add sweetener I'd suggest adding a little at a time (I'm talking 1/4 tsp.) and taste as you go.
Thanks Dot. I have also tried purchased swerve which I see that you use and I like it. I have spent so much money on different sweeteners etc but am finally getting down to favorites. Your show is so informative that I'm hooked. As to the fat bomb, I notice I need to let it last and just sip. Its so good it is hard to not keep drinking. I am going to try your ground beef, chrese, onion, pickle, pepper, eggs, mayo plus recipe. Just got all the ingredients. Will let you know how I do. Thanks so much. Loretta
Could I drink this in place of my breakfast and morning tea? And, could I drink all of it at once? I have been struggling with not being able to put sugar in my morning tea, so I thought this could be a good alternative to tea/coffee in the morning. What do you think?
Im not having dairy, doesn't set well with me, so I use almond milk, so I used almond milk instead and didn't add the butter and it took the carbs down to 9.5. I can work with that amount of crabs.
My account got hacked and I had to make a new account I lost track of your channel in the shuffle. I was so excited to see you in my suggestions today! Now I can play catch up! 💙🦋💙

I need to try that.
Pecans make everything good 😄
Pecans+macadamias+coconut makes the best nutbutter.

I'd have to add Ceylon cinnamon, nutmeg or clove if not all three for the health benefits. Sounds awesome.
I do all 3 as well...plus cardamon

You could sub HWC for both ....... the 5 oz of milk : 50/50 HWC and water. I don't buy coconut cream, here is hugely expensive, so I would use HWC instead. Being soooo thick and rich I sure it would be a sub for 2 of my meals.
20 carbs is a a lot for 1 drink even though it can last over 4 hrs to drink it. (trying to be helpful not critical)
Ok using MFP I made changes that reduced the carb count.
1. removed the coco powder
2. changed the milk and coconut cream to:
Water - 3 oz.
Cream, fluid, heavy whipping, 274 ml(s) or 9.26 oz
These changes brought the carb count down to 8 carbs instead of 20.
I hope this helps
Great work! Thanks for posting the changes and measurements :)
Your very welcome
V L But that defeats the purpose of it lasting all day.
V L were those net carbs total carbs?
V L. What is MFP?
This would be even more delicious if you could incorporate a small amount of strong coffee.
You probably can. I drink my coffee with coconut oil and honey. I blend the coffee and coconut oil.
@Nikki E. an espresso shot 2 or 3 lol I think I gonna try it tomorrow
P Webb my new bulletproof coffee!
I actually do that. A Sumatra is awesome. If not then french roast
Is it possible to add the cool whip in spray can? No carbs
I need to make this on a Saturday morning. Thanks for sharing.
Dot - thank you for your video and turning me on to that new book. I ordered it too. Im new to Keto and am soaking in everything that I can get my hands on that is LCHF that makes sense. Im looking forward to seeing more of your recipe suggestions.
Just started watching your vids an I enjoy them very much ! Thanks for sharing
Thank you and glad you found the channel.
i just made this drink and its delghtful. thank you
I just made this and it is delicious. I added cacao instead of cocoa. I brought the wrong one, not sure how that impacts the carbs. The hardest thing will be not to drink this slowly.
Excellent, can't wait to try it.
It would be nice if you would tell us the measurements of all the ingredients. Thanks
Very nice! I'm going to try this when I get back into ketosis
Proud South African am I! I love your channel.
Hello South Africa! Prof. Nokes is a true champion of LCHF/Keto/Banting.
Also from South Africa 🇿🇦, now living in Canada 🇨🇦! Just curious, is it a typo or is your last name spelt De Clerck....or is it De Klerk?
I have that book and its awesome. I am South African.
It took ages before I could get my hands on it. I'm sure you must know all about Prof. Nokes. He is a true low carb hero.
Yes, which is why the medical associations in South Africa are calling him a fraud. They can see themselves going out of business, I guess.
Just wondering if heavy whipping cream would work instead of whole milk?
I just saw where this was asked and answered! Thanks!
You can use heavy cream but make half of it water and half heavy cream or perhaps 1/4 heavy cream and 3/4 water. That way its keto but lower calorie.
I just love your videos I wish I found you sooner. I started Keto in May as I've mentioned on another of your videos. I share Keto info with soooo many others every day especially at work in the grocery store
I'm going to give this a try but instead of milk I'll use almond milk. Look so good.
I’m gonna have to try this. Thank you!!
It gets me thought till lunch (sorry getting up at 4am) as a nurse there is nothing worse then feel hungry and looking after people 🌺
Sweet!
I am new to your page! Love what I have seen so far. I will 100% try this out since I have been keto for a year and a half now and it looks great.
Sometime adding vanilla extract, more cacao or even more butter helps to even out coconut taste .
Scara Mouche thanks for the tip. I’m not a fan of the coconut taste👍🏻🌸
Thank you Dot. I really enjoy your videos, they are easy enough to make at home.
Do u have a cook book? I have seen a couple of your videos and I a fan already!
Oh, I only wish I could have it too but coconut and I don't get along. It looks so good.
Thanks for the recipe. New to your channel and will be checking out some of your other video posts.
What are the measurements?
Hi, you mentioned meal prep. Can you do a video on how you prep for the week? And tell us what meals you’re prepping?
I did one on food prep, but hope to do more. Here's the one I did: th-cam.com/video/6QqiDwCyfZY/w-d-xo.html
I’m allergic to coconut so what can I use for the coconut cream? Heavy whipping cream?
Yes you can.
I do this type coffee too but I must remember to eat food also.
Does anyone know the measurements? Thank you 😊
This looks amazing super excited to try it
Hi Dot is coconut cream the same as a Tin of coconut milk please let me know
They're different. The cream is the thick white layer on top of coconut milk (if it's not mixed). You can buy them separately.
@@Dot2TrotsLowCarbLiving would you please add a link for what brand coconut cream you prefer to buy? Thanks much. Look forward to trying this version. I used to make a keto hot chocolate with just almond milk but this sounds so much more creamier.
Wonderful idea! I think recipe could be played around with a lot to suit taste and carbs. Thank you lovely lady
Definitely have fun with the recipe :)
Could I get this recipe?
U just make me smile
Hi Dot, Loved the video- thanks for sharing- could you put down some recipes for students/kids in dorms and have food insecurity of various sorts?
Thanks,
Hi.
I've just started this keto diet and I'm having your cheeseburger casserole.
I'm not sure if I've missed the measurements for ingredients I'd like to try this. I love coconut!
Thanks
Oh, I put the ingredients in the description :) May have to click "show more." Hope you like! It's pretty thick...
What's the different between coconut cream and coconut milk??
Looks great I’ll try with almond milk maybe a little stevia for my morning meal before doing IF. THANK U
Can’t wait to try this
Seems like 20 g carbs is high for one shake. What am I missing?
I agree, Susan. I tried alternate ingredients, like amond milk instead of whole milk, but could not find a combination that gave similar taste and effect while significantly lowering the carbs and calories. I love many of Dot's other recipes, but this one is a no-go for me.
Beverly Benfer You can switch to an alternate milk such as unsweetened Vanilla Silk Almond Milk and eliminate significant carbs
Susan Martin the book is a low carb high fat...not keto. I think we have all gotten accustomed to really low carbs.
If this is all you are eating all day befor having just a meat n green veg for the last meal which is only about 5 - 10 carbs then it shouldn’t be a prob. This is replacing 2 meals
Looks so tasty I will try it but does it break your fast
Just wondering if you might have noticed that as the beverage cools down, do the fats separate? Looks delish, but I will make half the recipe since I'm trying to be on 25 carbs minimum (30 carbs max) a day. Thank you so much!🌻
I haven't noticed the fats separating and I understand halving the recipe. that's a smart move.
O my goodness I love Eric berg he’s awesome!! That looks good.. I’d have that as a meal replacement shake though....
It really is a meal replacement. You have this and you don't want to eat for most of the day.
Any idea how to make this drink cold? Thanks.
I am diabetic I also am at least a hundred 50 lb overweight can I still use this diet?
Hello! Love your vlog. Where did you get your mise-en-place little glass bowls?
LOVE you and your videos!!! Thank you!
Thanks, Donna :)
Dot2Trot's Low Carb Living grazing works for alot of people so speak for yourself💡
Dr Eric Berg is amazing--and so are you Dot!
Love me some Berg!
I heard that if you purchase the coconut oil that is "Refined" it is great for not having the coconut taste in all recipes.
But it's less healthy
Have you ever tried combining this way of eating with intermittent fasting? You are an inspiration Dot! Thank you so much :)
Thank you and yes, I do intermittent fasting.
How to start eating a low carb good high fat diet? Any book suggestions?
I recommend "A New Atkins For A New You." If you go to my blog, you'll see various books there that I think are helpful, in addition to this one. All are affiliate links. You can also go to Amazon and search for it directly of course. Cheers.
Hello.can we use Coffee unstead of caco?
What department at the grocery store am I likely to find coconut cream?
Marilyn most grocery stores carry it in the Asian/Indian food aisle.
Yep............kept me full most of day and i do a lot of manual work...........great video and love your humour
Thank you :) Glad it worked out.
can you give us the exact recipe with measurements.
That looks yummy. But the carbs look high ?
Well, they are high if you drink it and then have 2 full meals that day and you are more strict low carb. :)
any suggestions for these desserts that use coconut oils and creams for people who gag at the slightest hint of coconut flavor???
Loretta
I do not have unsalted butter... Can I use the regular butter?
I've never tried it with salted butter. You can try it and see if you like it.
Could I drink this in place of my breakfast and morning tea? And, could I drink all of it at once? I have been struggling with not being able to put sugar in my morning tea, so I thought this could be a good alternative to tea/coffee in the morning. What do you think?
You could, but it's more of a breakfast (and lunch, both) replacement.
Top dollar, loved it! Thank you.
Dot, just looked at the recipe from the link and it says it has near 20g carbs? What ingredient(s) have that much?
That's the whole milk, I just made it with Unsweetened almond milk and by my count it has about 2 carbs with that change.
@@Josh-sx4fz Thanks for the info. I thought it might be that, but I don't use dairy milk!
Hey love your videos! How to you deal with your sweet tooth or has low carb curbed that.
Can I substitute cacao nibs for the cocoa? I bought a bag I haven’t opened and they were fairly expensive. Thanks. It looks delicious.
I say give it a try to see if you like it.
Great video could you please do a even lower carb version as I only have twenty carbs per day thanks
I'll see what I can come up with
Im not having dairy, doesn't set well with me, so I use almond milk, so I used almond milk instead and didn't add the butter and it took the carbs down to 9.5. I can work with that amount of crabs.
Nice! Way to go, you mad scientist you :) That's the fun of cooking. Well, that and eating it....
My account got hacked and I had to make a new account I lost track of your channel in the shuffle. I was so excited to see you in my suggestions today! Now I can play catch up! 💙🦋💙
What's the macros please?
